I Need a Church Family
We live in a world where most of us are just very isolated and and and most people they just do life. They just go on with life. They know a lot of people but they don't really know anyone at all to the way that you know, that you don't have anybody in your life for real is when you have something serious happened in your life when something really serious happened and you have nobody to call in to share it with and to really just see kale, that's when, you know that a I'm isolated. And then sadly, the problem that we have in churches is that a lot of time, a lot of us, we just come to church, we see each other, we bump into each other and then till we do it again next week. But really, there's no relationship. And then at the end of the day, we not really living out the one another's in the Bible that God calls us to live out. Cuz God says, we need to love one another, we need to care for one another, but, but a lot of us really when we Face difficult times, would we want to do? We want to fold into ourselves and then we don't want to let anybody in, we just like a brick wall. I'm not going to let anybody in. But if that's true, then you cannot call yourself a church member. You are not a church CNN Tower series on God's roadmap for my life, the first week, in January, we talked about God's blueprint for success. And as we saw guide blueprint for Success, was to steady his word to do it, and then to live it out and then to share it with others. See. And then the following week, we we continue then talk about setting goals setting, spiritual goals for our lives family goals, career, goals and goes in every aspect of our lives. And then last week, we reiterated that again, about key to success like into our life. And we looked at it again in Joshua 1:8 where it says, this book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night and you shall be careful to do. All that is written in Then you will make your way prosperous and have good success. So, God's plan is that when we read God's word, it needs to speak to our allies, we need to be mesmerized by his word, and as we look kind of, he's worth it now, I want to do it. And if we all would be mem mesmerized by God's word, and then really meditate on God's word day and night, as the Bible calls us to do and then we meticulously do. All that God's word tells us to do, is he would really have a better life because Bible says, you will make your very prosperous and have good success and today as God's roadmap for your life. The other thing that you need in your life to conclude our serious, is that I need a church family. She is a say, a lot of us we just go to church but we never really an integral part of the church. It's like we just kind of like looking from outside in but but never be fully in. But God says like another for you to really just enjoying the full life that I've created you to do, because God does that came to give you the bundle. I so you would have in life to the fool and another for you to do that, you need to be part of God's family. And that's why you need let church family. And if we look at Acts 2 4247, it says, so those will receive his word were baptized. That means those people who receive God's word that means, Converted receive God's word. Says, I decide to be a follower of God today. I am going to follow what it says. So those people were baptized baptized simply means that a because I know God. And now I just want to publicly make a statement saying that a I am here then you get back. I just got to like a wedding ceremony. See you like, you get married. You know the ring doesn't Makes you like a married man, but it, but it shows like it's a sign showing that are you and you taking you identify saying that, hey, this is mine. See baptism is just like a wedding with God saying that a God, I am yours and I want to publicly make it known that, a i m yours. Is he at the beginning of the church's says those who received his word that means they became believers. They were baptized and there were added that day, three thousand Souls. You see? They were counting, there were counting those people, that will were in the church and they say that ate up with the church. And then it says, invade the voted themselves to the apostles teaching. That's the Bible that the word of God and the fellowship. That means, like you building relationship building a fence, take relationship with one another breaking bread. That means you doing life together and then, praying for one another. You see if if the church was really living in this way, when we have God's word as our standard for a living and we are in fellowship with one another words real, where it's not shallow, where it's not superficial, it's not like giving lip service, but when I ask you how you do, and you really tell me how you doing and what's going on in your life that you really tell me. See, would we have time for depression?
Would we have time for those things when we really stay in God's word? The Bible says, when you stay in his word, he says you will prosper and have success and everything that you do. To the source of our depression and isolation is because we're not in God's word. We are not in God's word and free in God's word like those Christians in the beginning of the church where they were devoted to the apostles teaching and the fellowship. And that's why I last week my challenge for you was to the first thing you wake up in the morning to get on your knees. Pray, and read your Bible. so any any good stories here, any of you did that this week, When you wake up first thing in the morning and we've done it with the kids and the kids would come to our room. We would pray, wake them up with Ray and we read your Bible. Man. What you just have a blast being in God's word. You really get to be mesmerized by God's word when you really in it, you see it says they were in Fellowship. That means they were in a relationship with one another And they were breaking bread. They were doing life together and see you cannot effectively live life in isolation. You cannot because that's when the Devil comes and tells all kind of lying to your mind telling you you no good to you. Not just you, not that kind of thing. Come into your mind when you are not in relationship. And God created us for relationship. Doesn't want any of us to live in isolation. I told her it was a researcher a long steady over 90 years. Now, doing some research on the relationship people who had like good relationship in their lives. Does people live longer Those people had better quality of life. And the research is up there. I think they're in the nine years of research today. After they have had like four different directors that they've got conducted that surveys if God created us for relationship. And the research tells us that too, if we are not in relationship, all kind, that's when all kinds of problems start, and turning into our lives. Just like we setting up spiritual goals and setting up family goals, and all of us came from a biological family and but also all of us need a spiritual family because in the Bible says Heaven and Earth will pass away, but my word will remain. The only thing that will remain is God's word and fellow believers. See, even our biological family will not last, if they are not Believers easy. That's what the Bible says in heaven, they will not be given into marriage. Oh man, I know like for young people. That's like like very scary. That was one thing that really hold me up when I was in college. Then what do you do with anything that married? A really, really troubled me but I did not given into marriage then that attack. What do you do about the Bible says, you know what eyes have not seen ears? Have not heard what God has in store for us. Other than marriage at the storage unit to get married now. Okay, go ahead and get married. We love marriages on Earth. See, but the guy thing like we need relationship, we need a church family. There is nothing. There's no such thing as an independent Christian and a lot of people today just want to be an independent crazy little people. You ask them today when you talk to them this is such thing as an independent Christian. There's no such thing as an isolated believer.
Luther trying because the Bible says, we all going to go to heaven. If you're going to go to heaven, you don't know anybody there.
Think, I don't know people here. It's worth says, they were devoted to the apostles, teaching of you are studying God's word together. They were in Fellowship, the breaking of bread and prices all came up on every soul in Many Wonders, and signs were being done through the apostles and all who believed were together and had all things in common and they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all as Amy had need to either. We're going to the persecution at the time and a lot of the believer original from Jerusalem. Need it helps a believer's were selling what they had to take care of those believers who had need and just the same for us. We need to go sell our things. Thank God, we're leaving the great country that a lot of us have opportunities to take care of ourselves. But from time to time, some of us will have knees. When God says, you know, are you and fellowship? And as you are in Fellowship, we meet each other's needs. Nothing to to Cripple anybody, but seem like we need to meet each other's need when somebody has a genuine need and it says, end day by day attending the temple together. They were going to church. They were day-by-day attending the temple together and breaking bread and their homes. There were doing life together. They were going to the coffee shop. They were having lunch together, they were coming to their homes and they received their food with glad and generous Hearts. Praising God, and having favor with old people and the Lord added to their number, Day by day, do Jews, who were being saved, the God wants his church to grow. And that's why we continue to pray that we would grow both spiritually. And we grow with one another and that God adds to his church. Rick Warren. Put it this way. As far as belonging to church since there was five benefits of belonging to a church. First it helps me focus on God she seen your message. So the first thing is that the church help you focus on God. We all busy and there's so many distractions in our world today. Just right here on this little device right here. So much distraction here, you can go ahead and wasteful hours. By just by being in this little thing that even talking about any of the other distractions that we have in life, when you're on Tik-Tok, he just keeps typing and then you don't realize how long you been there. You on Facebook. You just keep swiping and then you just realizing. Hey, where did my time go? Nn-now not even counting your work, not even counting like you to other duties. That you have a school assignment that you have to do what you were being pulled in all different direction, but it's the church help you focus on God, is he? That's why we need a church family, it brings us back to reality to the things that are important to remember things, which matter most should never be. Put at the mercy of things, which matter lease You're with me things, which mattimoe should never be put at the mercy of things with Matt at least. But the thing that's the tyranny of the Urgent, a lot of us. We always focus on the urgent things in the things that just keep coming up to piling up coming. But what happens with business? If you keeps us from focusing on the important things in life, that's why we need a church family to help us focus on God and we need a church family to help us face. Life's problems. You saw the story of Mindy's very popular, Christian artist. You know, again, 200 lb because of depression, you see? But that she had a family. She had a church family that stood there for her, and she was willing to follow their advice. See when the problem hits hard, you going to need To help you see. It has been said that it's either we coming from the storm either. We're in a storm or we are headed toward a storm, sea life is full of trouble. That's why I drove tells us. It says, we were made for trouble sit in life. You go into have problem, no matter how great is going right now. At some point it will not be the same. You see another benefit of belonging to church is that it fortifies? Your face is he remember that? Cold burning when coal is burning? And it's in isolation. What happens to it? The guy's pretty quickly. But what happens when all those calls are together?
Stays up. That's what a church family does for you. It fortifies, your face. It fortifies your face then you find your place to make a difference. Is he as God ministers to you as others minister to you? Then you find your place to make a difference. Now one guy that's why God gives us gifts and talents so we can be a blessing to other. You see if you in a relationship and then probably you're not great at making resume and then might be somebody right here that might need. That might have that skill. And that's all yeah, I'm pretty good at that. Lets me together, let me help you. Why don't you send it to me? I'll make some edits and make some suggestions and on, and on and on Monday you can just think of all the possibilities. You find your place to make a difference or somebody came in and then they were dealing with a problem and as you talkin with them, you find out the problem. Oh, I went through this. You know, he's what I did and he's what God Did In My Life Church helps. You find your place to make a difference and he'd help you. He'll your life's Mission. You know, God's purpose for us is that we would worship him that we would be in Fellowship that we would share his word with others. We would Minister to others and we will be disciple so we get to fulfill Our Lives mission in, we get to fulfill our life's mission. Is he first Corinthians 12:27? Says no. Cuz you are the body of Christ and individually. What members of one another. So Bible say, we need one another Romans 12 hours for 28 says, full as in one body. We have what many members and the members doing All have the same function so we do meny are one body in Christ and individually members of one another. You see, we just like snowflakes. None of us. Here are completely alike. We are all totally different and that's why God put us together because my gift is not your gift and your gift is not my gift. And all of us need to put our Collective gifts together for the blessing of all of us is having gifts that differ, according to the grace, given to us, let us use them. If prophecy in proportion to our faith. If service in our serving, the one with teacher is in his teaching, The one who exhorts in his excitation the one with country Buttes in generosity. The one who leaves with Zeal, the one with does acts of Mercy with cheerfulness. You see is that perfect marriage? That God is in, got his name when you are a church member, you making a commitment to God and also, you making a commitment to one another day. I will be there for you. I will be with you, you need to let me in because one day is going to be my turn. It might be your turn. Now, having some problems, but later, it might be my turn and I will need you. So we cannot close there still a lot of time. We know, I don't want to bother anyone else, like we heard of the video, but a lot of us, just so the question to ask now, is it, like, when I have a problem you telling me not to bother you?
See, we need to be careful by the things that we say when I don't want to bother anyways. Like are you saying we're never going to bother you, it will be a bother to. You see, we need to be careful. Everything in the culture is taking us to what isolation. Social media is not really social, you know, that right? Cuz I wasn't having lunch with you, but now you trying to check social media, so we can that really be together. But now you trying to be with somebody else miles away.
If you have a heart attack while you in the restaurant, right, then what can they do for you to do miles away?
Building a virtual CPR.
We need to be careful everything in the culture. Brings us toward isolation. Anything you name it it's toward isolation. So, we need to be careful because God created us for what relationship the moment God created Adam. He said it is not good for man to be alone. I will create for him a helpmate. Got the whole. Look at that fool boy. I really need a woman to make him look good. Easy, everything that God's ride to do for us. It's about relationship, but the world is pulling us towards isolation and we need to fight that. That's not what we want the rest of our time. And just say, what does it mean to be a church member this year at our church W? Warren new just visiting with us. I know you're charged him, but I think those apply to do every church. And I know that I typically don't really emphasized membership. The more and more. You look at scriptures, that got to say, hey, where did to make a commitment to one another, to make a commitment to one another when their commitment to God, with part of the universal church. But also God wants us to be part of a local church where we make commitment to one another. Remember Joe now do it. Now, one thing we learn in the Book of Jonah was We need to learn to make commitment and do what? Where you're sleeping in. The Jonah study and cheap commitments. Okay. So I want to give us like a picture. I want to give us a picture of what it should look like, to be a church member to say that, this is my truth. What that's what this means that it is my trick. So straight from scripture. So I'll make the siples in the way we do. That, is by loving God. So that's our first mission, loving God. So, really says, like, I will show my devotion to God and support the testimony of my church by Doing the following by attending Faithfully. See if you're not here. Remember, we are members of one another. So that means when you nag, you you depriving me of something because we don't all have the same gift you with me and the same. If I'm not here, I'm depriving you of something. Because God makes us to be members one another. It's like, we've been Faithfully. That doesn't mean that, you know, we never have a time that will be away, but it should be a way to just let somebody know. So that we know because we remember the one another that I don't have to worry about you. Dad. Oh, I know I talked to Stonington. I didn't know, they say they're not going to be here today. Are you letting me know? I'm not going to be here today. She, that's how we build a family, right? Imagine you, your biological family, you living with some family members and then you didn't show up that 980 and calling and texting and tell him. I'm not going to be there. It's the same thing you did. When we are members of one, another report of a church, we want to attend faithfully and when we don't see you, it needs to be like the rare occasion. I need to find out if somebody is okay. As opposed to that's typical they never here. This typically has a lot of a lot of people who are there. So many churches on the road, I don't remember the statistics but it's like if you had 100 people in the row but really the only about 40 to 60, I really active. In some cases, maybe even like, you know, from 20, like 250. So all those are just like the numbers, like, on a row has never been like to have a formal, you coming, you hear your member but I think I need like where we making like a commitment I like we're saying that a devoted to one another attending Faithfully living a Godly life cuz the Bible says we are open Bibles that being read by men every day as we go to work as where the supermarket aisle. When we say we are Christian, people are looking at our lives and examining our lives. So we need to be a good testimony where we're living a Godly life. Has that we need to give biblically and as we give giving is not for a guy to, what can we give to God?
Just our lives, is there anything that God needs? And if you look at the Old Testament when God the Levites were, the priests of people was serving the church when they were given gifts of God. And pretty much, God was just released in your, to the Levites. The ones who starred in the church to take care of the church and took care of so that they can take care of the people who are in need and take care of the needs of the temple. So it's the same thing here. She as we look at it, look at some scriptures to see, Hebrews 10:25 says let us not neglect a meeting together as it is the habit of some birth. We need to be doing what Say it with me and courage in one another.
She does a lot of things that comes to beat you down and actually the Hebrews 13 says, like we need to be encouraging one another every day, and all the more as you see the day Drawing Near Faithfully, remember this only let your manner of Life, be worthy of the Gospel that God is saying that a, we need to walk the talk. Okay. We can not just talk the talk but people need to see in our lives are hey, we are followers of Christ and then and look at 12434 about, you know, giving me look at this, where your treasure is there, your heart will be. Also remember God doesn't do anything. Bible says every good and perfect gift comes from you. Everything it comes from God. See giving really is just a heart issue. It's a it's a matter of tells you like where your treasure. See if you look at your bank account, you will quickly find out what your treasure is. See where your money goes, wherever your money goes, that's what your treasure. That's what you value. And the way that God tells us the way that guy teaches, that's why they giving is an integral part in church, is that song, God is trying to teach us just trying to teach our heart. That doesn't mean I want money. I give you a hundred percent. See the Biblical teaching you give about 10% and and God is saying like, hey I give you a hundred, you got to keep 90. Isn't that a good deal? What are you get back to you? Is he but that's what God is trying to text. I guess. It's 8 where your treasure is there? Your heart will be also I do people get very tense when you talk about money in church. Are y'all tents? Okay, good, I'm glad. So I did my job, I made you uncomfortable, okay?
1st Corinthians 16:2. It is on the first day of every week. Each of you to put something aside and store it up as he may Prosper. So that there will be no collecting when I come. I see you're at a tad Bible Fellowship of the church that we have a very, very, very funny. I got to always provide an opportunity to give so we just do more when we get member again. It's a gift that you giving two. OK. Google, people second mission is to love people, the real of peoples that guy will show my devotion to what others and protect the unity of my church. I will show my devotion to what others and protect the unity of the church. In one thing that divides church is is division. See the devil thrives on Division, It's always liked about divide and conquer see, but God says 8:00 as Christians, we need to always acting love toward others. We need to always act in love to wouldn't others and we need to avoid all forms of gossip and slander that destroy a lot of churches about gossip say people like to run them off and just talked talked, talked talked nnnn. That's that, that happens that every Church. What is always like gossip going on around with someone who sang the song. That's why we need offensive Fellowship, somebody come through and say, hey, so when you said that you can come to me
Is that what he said? He'll let me go ask him. Oh no, no, no, no, don't tell them. That's what the Bible says. God said, we need to be acting in love toward one another. Remember the one another's in the Bible, it says. And it says we need to to follow the leaders in pursuing fellowship and praying for a church leaders. As we see in the Bible, in Romans 14:19. It says so then let us pursue what makes for what? Peace and for Mutual of bringing. So are you here to tear people down? We hear to build one another up. 1st, Peter 1 verse 22 twos having purified. Your souls by The Obedience of the true for a sincere brotherly love. What does it say safe with me? Love one. Another how earnestly I mean deeply from your heart to all that. You owe each one of us used to show. Love the Bible says, I owe no one anything but to love one another as let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up as fits the occasion, that it may give Grace to those who hear you say, you always need to be faithful to do. If you are absent you always need to be faithful to. Those were absent, you need to always be good. Things about people both in their presence and both in their absence cuz the Bible says you should never let any corrupting talk come out of your mouth. What comes out of your mind? Should always be useful and helpful. Does that mean that I'm not holding you accountable? Accountable. I'm coming to you face-to-face. Even tell you what God's word says. If you need an MBA National encouragement, I do both encouragement and also admonition. See that it may give Grace to do, is we here we're here to build up people, see Hebrews. 13:17 says this, that's a scripture that scares me. It says, obey your leaders and submit to them for. They are keeping watch over your souls as those. We will have to give an account. Ever scares me.
Dresses like a as a pastor, you going to have to give an account for people for your church members. Net worth of a Christian but people who are your church members got this day, you can have to give an account with them that did you love them? Well, did you lead like, God would lead them like 1st Peter, 5:2 and 3 fails us. Did you Shepherd the flock of God With Love, Not domineering over them, but but being like a Good Shepherd, greedy Gambit really just loving. She feels like I will have to give an account and let them do this with joy and not with groaning for that would not be of no advantage to you. It's funny that I've seen a lot of people there in churches and then they talking bad about their pastors.
And then they stay in the stretches for years. The great grandmother went there. The mother went there. Their, they're there. Their kids are going there and bring up everything about the pastor.
Do we have actually the lack of discernment? If you're in a church, you're not growing spiritually. And you can that genuinely love your leaders love one. Another You need to change or if it's a problem with the church, you need to find another church.
Easy. A lot of us are. Actually, some people love it. You know, when they have a church, they can go ahead and talk and gossip. But God is saying, hey, you need to be in a place where you can love the people who serve you and do it with joy without groaning because it would not be an advantage to you. You want me to come in angry and yelling at you. It's natural for you to be like a beautiful marriage together, where we truly love one another, I am praying for you. I pray for you every week. The same thing, you will be praying for me. And anybody else that God will bring would bring here. You know, the leader of the church that that we pray for those leaders and we follow it in Wednesday, following them just like as they following God's word, is he pauses even fit me? As I imitate Christ.
And then our third purpose is to serve our City Mission or service. Got to save you for you, but God saved you for service. And I just remember you need to strive to serve the ministry of my church, how by discovering my gifts and talents. And some of you have been here, you already had like a, you did an assessment profile about your gift and some of your talk to you, you know, do when using your gift for God and Bill, if you have not done that, you need to do that, you know. So we can learn to serve better and being a quick, because the Bible calls a mean, to equip Tichina for a good word for work of ministry in developing a servant. Like, you should say that a, I am safe so that I can serve others. I am safe. So I can serve others and 1st. Peter 4:10 says As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another.
Your gift is not yours. Your gift is to serve others and trying to tell you, I will do this for you will do that for you, but but in reality it's a totally different organization. God tells you not to get, but you come to give your time your talent and your treasure. You come to give as opposed to your Costco membership, you got perks to get this, you got plans, you got best to get that, but got to pick up the church, you just come to give. Because now you realize what God has done for you, because God gave you life, cuz it got this the life we live. Now, we can no longer live for ourselves. We should live for him. See theater says, I would give is to serve others, Ephesians 4:11 and 12 days. And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the Evangelist Shepherd, the pastors and teachers to do what equip the sense for the work of Ministry for what building up, the body of Christ. The pastor job is to build you up, not to tear you down.
Philippians 2, verse 3 and 4. I love this. That's one of my favorite verse in Scripture. It says do nothing from ambition or conceit but in humility count others, how more significant than yourselves, Let each of you look not only to his own interests but also to the interests of others. Man, if every married people would do that, they would be married forever. So you go get your marriage counseling right there. Okay, she do that. You'll never have any problems when you put in each other's name and got this. That's the same thing. We need to do in the body of Christ, we need to put each other's need above others. We need to put each other's name above hours. And then lastly, we need to reach our world for Christ. Mission is to reach our world for Christ. So God created you for worship for Fellowship for service and God created you. So that you would reach others that evangelism and serving others. Say so I will share the responsibility of my church by Praying for his growth. That's what I've been challenging you for the last few months, praying for the Grove, sharing the gospel and inviting the unchurched to attend and warmly welcomed. Those were visitors of your visit today where you want me. Welcome and yeah, I know you have to tell me you send me a text later, okay? I don't mean they were to you. See, my number is +66-257-981-1256, and we need to be sharing the gospel and inviting, those were on church if we're not doing that, we not really sharing the responsibility of the church. And if you're not warmly welcoming people, we not sharing the responsibility of the church. That's what God calls. Our God Saves you. So you can help save others. The first Thessalonian 1 tube says we give. Thanks to God always for you constantly mentioning you in our prayers. Therefore confess your sins to one another and pray for one another and then it says that you may be healing. And what does it say is The Fray your of The righteous person has great powers to see your prayer. Mathers the prayers, you pray for your church to grow. Both spiritually and in the American League does prayers matter as you pray, God, answers. And you see, with Paul there, Paul was giving. Thanks for the Christians at the test, a lion cut and he was constantly constantly mentioning their name is Aiden. He is prayer. So we need to pray for our church. And Luke 14:23 says this and the master said to the servant, go out to the highways and hedges and compel people to come in and it has been one big challenge for me today that I've been reflecting on more and more lately. Like how do we compare a society where we leaving a post-christian world or some commentators?
Hostile you do to the things of God. How do we compel people to come in and God says he wants his house to be full. God says he went to every chair in here to be occupied by someone. And it says, how did we come fail them? See, we need to make the message of the Gospel. Very compelling to others. And if you're not able to express that, you need to seek the scriptures and look at the Romans road, look at for Spiritual low. I have some more tools, I'll put in your bags, you can share the gospel. We need to find ways to share the gospel with people in a way that it is compelling, to give them a reason for them to see value in the coming of the liver and walking with Christ in Romans, 15 7 Tisdale for What welcome one, another as Christ has welcomed you since for God. So loved the world that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him, will not perish, but have eternal life. That's an invitation. Just got some point in your life, those of you who are already saved, that was an invitation for you, got invited you into his kingdom. Woman's 320 said, I stand at the door and knock, and now waiting for you, like to open the door and come in. The gospel is an invitation. It is an invitation to welcome Christ into your life and in Christ has welcomed you. Those, if you are already Believers in this, the same guy saying you need to welcome one another in Christ. Just like Christ has welcomed you when Christ. Did it look at your fault? Got Christ. Did it look at you? Chrysler that look at whatever situation that you were facing Christ in. And look at you since the Christ, forgive you and God is named AAA. This is the same invitation that you need to be extending to others and that you welcome them when they come in that you are excited. When you see new faces and said, I am so glad that you are here.
The God calls us to welcome one another see. And if any of us here today don't know Christ the visitation is for you to give your life to Christ and crisis saying I'm just standing at the door and I've been waiting for you. I'm just waiting for that moment. God says, whenever somebody turns to Christ, there's a party going on in heaven, hey says Heaven Rejoice. There's a party going on. And that's what that's how God feels in for some of us. We just need to dedicate our life to Christ and I'm back to you and I want to give my life to you one more time. I want to read dedicate my life to you and I want to walk with you. I guess what? You never too far. You always. Close. Is always closed. Got to just saying a 8 coming in. I just want you. C in a nutshell, really all that I'm saying is that as a church member you just need to say it with me. Show up, say the word. You don't want to say grow up, give growing up steak and rice. So you show up you grow up and then you live up. That's the gospel message guy since you grew up and you live up. and you at church member Amen.
All right, I got to challenge you. Not remember, still it's a year of growth as spiritual maturity. So those of you who have been coming here, when I'm always going to say church member how can I want you to text me? Okay, or you text me say, hey, it was a duh church member. Let's talk this week, okay. And let's talk about your gifts and let's see what God is doing in your life. All right, so text, me 662-579-8112 and let's talk about what God is doing in your life. You know, if you feel like I just want to keep coming and I don't want to make any commitment, I'm still going to love you. We're all going to still love each other, but but it's important for us like to learn to make commitments and learn to keep commitment because that's what God calls us to. God says that we are member are members of one another and we need to identify and just make like a married to one another day. We married to God and we married to one another as church. And those of you were visiting us. I'm so great. We have brother, Marvin. You were mad during the pandemic and there was doing some Outreach online. He was living in Oklahoma City, and then we've just been texting, you know, praying with one another and then he just recently. Moved to Cleveland has family here. He already at the church room
Is he what the pandemic does? Bring your brother all the way from, Oklahoma is no way faking that he would be moving for a few in Cleveland in. And we had a chance to reconnect again, a couple of weeks ago. And it just so great at to be here together. And all of you were visiting of us. I'm glad to see you today. I just wanted to print a brother out. So don't feel left out. Okay. But I'm excited, nnn if you don't have a church home so we would love for you to just come visit with love. You love to be part of what we doing here. Father, thank you for your grace, thank you for your love. Thank you for your mercy. Thank you for your grace. We are so grateful. That we are here together as we study your word, help us father to be more and more like you and help us to live according to your ways and not according to ours would love you. We praise you, we magnify your name and we glorify your name and help us to walk according to everything that we've heard today to help us bother to learn to make commitments and keep commitments and live the life that you have created for us to live. The father, help us to follow your road map for our lives. In Jesus name, we pray
