Channel of love (Wedding Service)
Channel of love
Eph 5:20-25
20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
(KJV)
There are different channels. There are t.v. channels, cable channels, Internet channels, radio channels, citizen band channels, walky talky frequencies. All of which are used to communicate.
Communication is an important facet in your relationship. During our short discussion I’ll call it channels of love.
How do these channels work. Well first of all you have to have power. In order for the channels to work you need to be connected to the electricity of heaven. You don’t have to work with duracell or energerizer God’s love doesn’t need battery power because it never runs out.
However you need to understand that there are many channels. You know that the devil has many channels out there. They are specifically designed to do certain things. There is the playboy channel, the money channel, the self righteous channel, the pride channel, the channel of false religion.
There is the channel of human philosophy and ideas. That’s has the me program on it. It seeks to do everything the me way. Even with the Bible men seek to justify their evil lifesytle. Make sure you are tuned in on the channel of love. That’s God’s channel. That way you can avoid mentalities that are meant to destroy your relationship with God and each other.
Talking about philosophies I remember a certain song which glorified a certain way of life . . . a man singing about his love for his wife which he was losing.
“Put another log on the fire, fix me up some bacon and some beans. Go out to the car and lift it up and change the tire. And tell me that you’re never leaving me.
Don’t I let you drive the car on Sunday’s, don’t I let you wash my old blue jeans so put another log on the fire and tell me that you’re never leaving me.”
Problem with this is some men don’t think there’s nothing wrong with this song.
You will face circumstances in your relationship when you come in conflict. You have to turn on the proper channel. When falsely accused or wronged don’t turn on the action or karate fight back channel or the let me give him one lick channel. . . (No honey not the pot)
In every situation ask what would Jesus do.
Don’t forget the prayer channel. Morning and evening worship. Prayer and fellowship together. Study together, attend church on God’s Holy Sabbath together for the family that prays together stays together.
You must never forget the Love channel. . . . Remember there is no such thing as pay per view when it comes to your love and affection for each other. Never use your feminity as a spite weapon. (You watch tonight I gon fix him!) never spite each other for wrongs, avoid the temptation to make your spouse earn you love. Love even when you do not feel loved!
(that’s supernatural)
Keep the courtship throughout your married lives.
Avoid third party channels. . . (In-laws, men and women)
If your antennas are focus up toward heaven then in every situation you will find success even in the midst of apparent failure.
Channel love so that you may strive to make each other happy
