Let’s take a trip to Martha’s House
Let’s take a trip to Martha’s House
38 Now as they were traveling along, He entered a village; and a woman named Martha welcomed Him into her home.
39 She had a sister called Mary, who was seated at the Lord’s feet, listening to His word.
40 But Martha was distracted with all her preparations; and she came up to Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to do all the serving alone? Then tell her to help me.”
41 But the Lord answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered about so many things;
42 but only one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her.”
41 The Master said, “Martha, dear Martha, you’re fussing far too much and getting yourself worked up over nothing. 42 One thing only is essential, and Mary has chosen it—it’s the main course, and won’t be taken from her.”
Nothing is worth doing if JESUS ISN’T AT THE CENTER
Nothing is more important if JESUS ISN’T AT THE CENTER
Nothing has purpose if JESUS ISN’T AT THE CENTER
We need more disciples than members
We need more people in love with Jesus than they are with the Pastor or the Songs!
Why is Jesus at the Center so important to us? Because he's the deciding factor for where we are going to spend eternity!
Heaven doesn't require a good moral person.
Heaven doesn't require going to church every Sunday.
Heaven doesn't require memorizing the Apostle’s Creed
Heaven requires much more than that.
The problem is in 2022 we gather the mindset of what we “deserve” based off of what little we do!
We do one little deed and we think we deserve everything, No, Heaven requires much more than that. “IT’S HEAVEN!”
Heaven requires Perfection!
