Often we find ourselves in a state of unhealthiness. The current state of the church has been describe as unhealthy, ineffective, non influential lacking strength and ability. Why is this so?
Isaiah challenges the people of God to embrace the worship that he desires. We heard in Sunday school that Isaiah was instructed to cry out and don’t hold back. You seek me like a nation who has done right. you seek me like you have not forsaken my word! You want justice, you claim you want my presence. I believe they were similar to what Titus claimed 16 They profess to know God, but they deny him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work (Tt 1:16).
When we hear from God we have an opportunity to be refreshed, renewed and revived!
First we must realize we have God Revive you with CONTINUAL GUIDANCE.
“The Lord shall guide thee continually.” Walking along the road of life you may suddenly reach a turning point and you not know which way to go. Don’t panic the promises his continual guidance. Many times when we get in crunch we ask friends and associates for advice. Even with their best intentions friends can lead you the wrong way. The psalmist said he leads us in the paths of righteousness for his name same. We know that adverb “continually.” We are not to be guided only sometimes, but we are to have a perpetual monitor; not occasionally to be left to our own understanding, and so to wander, but we are continually to hear the guiding voice of God! I have seen his ways, but I will heal him;
I will lead him and restore comfort to him and his mourners,
19  creating the fruit of the lips.
Peace, peace, to the far and to the near,” says the LORD,
“and I will heal him. (Is 57:18–19).
The Lord will Renew you because he will satisfy you
And satisfy your desire in scorched places, And give strength to your bones (Is 58:11).
The Lord will refresh you 11 also says And you will be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water whose waters do not fail. (Is 58:11). The Lord wants us to have SPIRITUAL HEALTH AND HAPPINESS.
