EVANGELIZE

WORSHIP = LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD

MINISTER = LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF

EVANGELIZE = GO THEREFORE, AND MAKE DISCIPLES

FELLOWSHIP = BAPTIZING THEM

DISCIPLESHIP = TEACHING THEM TO OBEY

Matthew 28:18–20 CSB

Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

EVANGELIZE = GO THEREFORE, AND MAKE DISCIPLES

Why is Evangelizing to important to the Father?

So if we don’t Evangelize should the Father say “Well do good and faithful servent”?

We must be a church that Evangelizes.

So how do we Evangelize? Let look at how Jesus Evangelize.

Matthew 4:18–22 CSB

As he was walking along the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon (who is called Peter), and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the sea—for they were fishermen. “Follow me,” he told them, “and I will make you fish for people.” Immediately they left their nets and followed him. Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and his brother John. They were in a boat with Zebedee their father, preparing their nets, and he called them. Immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him.

Matthew 9:9–13 CSB

As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office, and he said to him, “Follow me,” and he got up and followed him. While he was reclining at the table in the house, many tax collectors and sinners came to eat with Jesus and his disciples. When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” Now when he heard this, he said, “It is not those who are well who need a doctor, but those who are sick. Go and learn what this means: I desire mercy and not sacrifice. For I didn’t come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Mark 10:17–22 CSB

As he was setting out on a journey, a man ran up, knelt down before him, and asked him, “Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” “Why do you call me good?” Jesus asked him. “No one is good except God alone. You know the commandments: Do not murder; do not commit adultery; do not steal; do not bear false witness; do not defraud; honor your father and mother.” He said to him, “Teacher, I have kept all these from my youth.” Looking at him, Jesus loved him and said to him, “You lack one thing: Go, sell all you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” But he was dismayed by this demand, and he went away grieving, because he had many possessions.

What do these passages have in common?

“Follow Me” come and be apart of what I’m doing so you my learn.

Jesus was saying come be the church with me.

These people wasn’t changed over night it took time.

So as we bring people in the church you must understand they may not know who to do church.

kindergarden class : sit on the carpet, hold scissors, use a public restroom, sit in a chair at a desk, hold a pencil, how to use a glue stick.

Not that new people are Kindergardener but they may not know common thing to us.

So what does this look like for Emmauel Baptist Church?

Let look at Locally frist.

Matthew 16:15–18 CSB

“But you,” he asked them, “who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus responded, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but my Father in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.

Jesus is not going to just bulid His church on Peter, what He is saying is He is going to bulid His church on the faith of Him.

So locally we are going to build Christ church on our testimony that Christ is the Messiah.

In order to do that we must get them in the door.

So I would like to introduce a new ministry that will be Coordinated by Betty Brown.

Loving Reach Ministry = every guest that come to our church will get a card and or a call. The Loving Reach Ministry will also help determine who my be in need of a visIt.

We will need people of volunteer to help in all of these areas. Cards, Calls, AND VISITS. Visit must be groups of two.

Now lets look at beyond local.

Amazon Hope

Two ways to get involved

1st They have a thrift store in Boaz, Alabama that funds a large portion of the trips to the Amazon. As the Director said “ It puts the fuel in the boats”

2nd there will be an opportunity to our members who would like to go on the mission trip to the Amazon.

Thet share the Gosple, have VBS, Help people in need.

There are approximately 33,000 villages that have not heard the Gospel!

Actions to take today

Pray right now Lord what do you want me to be apart of today.

Sign up if He whats you to be apart of the Loving Reach Ministry.

If He whats you go to the Amazon says Yes. If donate things to the thrift store start thinking what that will be.
