Very little is known about the conditions in exile from the book of Ezekiel. This is because Ezekiel was describing to the exiles in Babylon what was happening back in Judah. It seems as though the Babylonians did not persecute Ezekiel for his religion, nor did they enslave him. From time to time the elders of Israel gathered together at Ezekiel’s house where he would share another Word from the Lord (8:1; 14:1; 20:1).

Why Judgment Shows Up
Ezekiel 16:44-50
When God brings judgment it is always because of sin.
I, like others, thought Sodom was judged for the sin of sodomy only.
Sodomy is an outward sin and unexpected result of the real PROBLEMS of a society.
