Psalm 27:1 ESV
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

When God brings us Light everything around us and in us is exposed.

How does light come: one way is by prayer.

2 Kings 6:17 ESV
17 Then Elisha prayed and said, “O Lord, please open his eyes that he may see.” So the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

How does light come: another way is through the word of God.

Hebrews 4:12–13 ESV
12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13 And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
Psalm 119:105 ESV
105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

How does light come: light comes through Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 4:5 KJV 1900
5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.
Isaiah 42:16 KJV 1900
16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, And crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.

The Psalmist said, “The Lord is my light and my salvation”. Light illuminates, salvation protects and comforts.

The Hebrew Lemma or dictionary entry for “salvation” is “help, deliverance, salvation; happiness”. A means of preserving from harm or unpleasantness. The state of being safe or free from danger. “The Lord is my light and my salvation”. God protects and comforts His children.

2 Timothy 1:12 KJV 1900
12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
1 Peter 4:19 ESV
19 Therefore let those who suffer according to God’s will entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good.

When your life become overwhelming, remember God Protects and Comforts His children.

2 Corinthians 1:3–10 ESV
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 5 For as we share abundantly in Christ’s sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too. 6 If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; and if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which you experience when you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer. 7 Our hope for you is unshaken, for we know that as you share in our sufferings, you will also share in our comfort. 8 For we do not want you to be unaware, brothers, of the affliction we experienced in Asia. For we were so utterly burdened beyond our strength that we despaired of life itself. 9 Indeed, we felt that we had received the sentence of death. But that was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the dead. 10 He delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again.

When The Wolves Of The World Show Themselves In Your Life Remember To Call On Jesus Christ.

Romans 10:13 KJV 1900
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
