Salvation is a work of God. The reason the gospel takes root in a person’s heart, so that they repent, believe, and are saved, is all because God gives growth to it. As believers, we have a role to play in God’s work of salvation, being commissioned by our Savior, to take the gospel of salvation to the lost, making disciples, baptizing them, teaching them all he has commanded.
