Jacob prophesied about Israel's King, who is called in our text, Shiloh. Shiloh means 'tranquil' and Jesus is the Prince of Peace! We will see that Jesus' proclamation that now is the time to be accepted by the Lord, is made all the more timely by the prophecy of a coming day of God's vengeance, when Jesus will be the Ruling King on Earth.
