So, we'll welcome back to the Ezekiel. Study right now. It's just a, we've been making her way through the Ezekiel 36 2:39, or goal, is to understand some of the finer points of the coming blessings and coming battles and make sure that we understand them. As has been laid out in the Book of Ezekiel. A lot of people come here and they say this is that this is that over there until they take what they see in scripture and they try to pin it to something that's happening here in the world or more precisely. They take something that's happening in the world and they try to pin it to scripture and say all this is what the scripture means. And we call that the reverse process study. It is not Exposition where you take X out from scripture to pause. Sit on it or to understand what is being talked about. But instead, we are having people who are doing eisegesis where they are putting their thoughts, they're thinking their meaning on to the text. And so we've been making her way through Ezekiel right now. We're focusing on Ezekiel 37 in particular. We're looking at the Covenant of Peace. The Covenant of peace is mentioned in Ezekiel 37 verse 26. And last week, we clarified a few things, a few things for us to be aware of

We have previously gone over the Covenant in front of us, in view of relied on a few different ways of viewing and making sure that we are slicing the apple pie. If you will, do I get each distinct section? Make sure that we have looked at that properly. So we looked at the context of restoration that is this passage here is talking about the restoration of Israel bringing all of his rail from all over the world, restoring it to the land and Unique Restoration where the the division between the northern tribes and the southern tribes as he raced in his back to a unified Israel. Just like when David and Solomon were Kings over Israel, we also looked at the Messianic context that this particular

Covenants or prophecy that were looking at is dealing with a Messianic contacts. That is the promise is from the Messiah and it is about what the Messiah is going to do. And it is about what this, Messianic Kingdom that the Messiah is overseeing is going to be like. So we looked at it from the Messianic contacts when next we came and we looked at it from the perspective of the Messiah ruling. And if he is, ruling over all of this, restore DeLand, restored, Israel. What then will be the case until we looked at some of those factors like who could be ruining, who couldn't be rolling, we were able to see that we have both a gentile and a Jewish area of the world being ruled over. The Jewish portion, of course, is Israel. It is a restored Israel. The land itself will be transformed so that Israel will be the dominant spot on the entire planet and Gentiles coming from Nations outside of Israel will be going to Israel to worship their and to learn of the Lord. Then we saw that we have a davidic element that is being talked about over and over again. So we had to get in and I understand that, even though the Messiah is from the line of David that is he has David as his great. Great, great, great, great great, great it is Grandfather, he's from the line, he is royalty in that sense, but there is also a reference to David himself being in the land and ruling and also a reference to those who are of David, who are not the Messiah. Who will be ruling in the land. And so we got that out there and looked at that. So some of these things, I think they toss up a little bit, a little bit of snow, a little bit of fog in our thinking, what's going on here cuz you have all these options, but we're making sure we're doing is looking at things from a Biblical, viewpoint, putting the biblical information up there, and then we're sorting it through as we come down to the end. Next, we saw that we have a Messianic vice-regent underneath the Messiah during the Messianic Kingdom. There will be someone rolling underneath him. Who it appears is, King David himself, King? David will be ruling over Israel, he will be the vice-regent. That is the designated ruler of the messiah. Messiah makes the decisions, the Messiah. Creates the Covenant, David himself will be the executive who is enforcing that across the land. So, and then now we are looking at the nature of the Covenant itself and this Covenant between a messiah and the people in all those ruled over in the Messianic Kingdom, this particular Covenant, Covenant, we have noted last week is a covenant of Peace. So we looked at the The Hebrew there is Burrito, Shalom. And it just means peace, treaty or peace Covenant.

We looked at Shalom a bit saw that, it's a little bit wider than is normally understood. Shalom is a little bit. One more of one of those broad terms that actually brings with it. A little bit of a breadth of meaning that you don't want to dismiss any of it. And I made that analogy to the Aloha of the Hawaiians, which means a lot more than just hello and goodbye. Goodbye or greetings, and salutations is my dad like to say,

All right. And so wild last week, we started looking van at people who are participating in this for, giving us insight to what this Covenant of pieces, which we found is also an eternal Covenant. So it is an Everlasting Covenant. I should say, not Eternal, it starts at a point in time and continues onward. Onward through time. So we looked at that and we first saw that there was a no way. I can come in it. That had a starting point at God's promise, to know what and the Earth before he brought the curse of Destruction upon the Earth with the curse. And he also brought a blessing and a covenant, the new Matt Covenant. As we went through it, we saw but impart there was never going to be a water judgment on the Earth again, but there was not going to be a judgment that would destroy all of civilization via water.

So that brings us then to the Abri Mick, Covenant, so Abraham.

We have a couple of verses all or throw you out up front, but we're going to crawl through a couple of them slowly and we're start with Genesis 17 verse 7.

Also verses 13 and verse 19.

Genesis 17. Versus 7:13 and 19 just add 6 to the 7 to get 13 at 6 to 13, you get 90. That's what's going on in my little mathematical brain and every moment that every instant that kind of analysis is happening. First Chronicles chapter, 16 verses 17. We'll take a look at that and then we're take a look at Psalm 105, verse 10. All of this under the brim, a coven, and let's start with the first one. Genesis 17 verse 7, Billy Reid, and I will establish my Covenant between me and you and your descendants after you and their generations. For Everlasting Covenant, there's our turn to be God to you and your descendants after you. You see the Covenant starts out very specific and clear. This is the Covenant. He will be God to Abraham and to his descendants and to everyone who follows after him, it is a covenant between God and Abraham. And his descendants noticed that in this Covenant is not a government. That is established between Abraham and David and Abraham has to do his part and God has to do his part. If they both do their part than the Covenant stands with this Covenant is a promise from God to Abraham. There is nothing that Abraham has to do for this Covenant to exist. The Covenant is in place. So now I want to get a little bit of the story here to make sure we grasp it. We have this in context, I'm not going to do this with all these verses but with this first one, This first statement in Genesis 17, it is important to start back at the beginning of the story. Genesis 17 verse 1. and when Abraham was 99 years old, And you think your old don't worry about it, you got plenty of time to go. The Lord appeared to Abraham and said to him, I am almighty God. Walk before me and be blameless. So he is establishing who he is, and the relationship that they are to have first two and I will make my Covenant between me and you and I will multiply you exceedingly. So we already have a stablished previously back in Genesis 15, that Abraham is a believer that he is a believer in God. And so we have God coming along here in a different context, making it clear.

Excuse me. My same this correctly. This is Genesis 17 verses 1 through 27. Yep. Caso back in chapter 15, we have the relationship. We see that Abraham is a Believer. Receive it is safe. Then here we see that God is saying I'm going to stablish a covenant with you. where's three than Abraham fell on his face and God talked with him saying you know, you could get kind of instructed in this because isn't it interesting that it's when Abraham's on his face that God's talking to him? Oftentimes, we want to hear from God, but often times, it's not in the time and work on our face before him. It's often when we're kind of sitting up like, God, I need to hear from you. Get back to me. Let me know what's going on. But here we have Abraham in a place of worship, prostrate understanding his relationship to God. And that's the time that he hears from him for, as, for me, behold my Covenant is with you and you shall be a father of many nations boy saying. I have a covenant. Not always my Covenant with you, but it's with your descendants and you are going to be a father of many nations. Interesting to hear. At this point, there's 5 no longer show your name, be called Abram. But your name Shall be Called Abraham. So he is changing his name to reflect the change in Covenant. The name Abraham is a reflector of the person in the relationship with God. In this Covenant for I have made you a father of many nations and that's what Abraham means. A father of men, my father of many nations for 6, I will make you exceedingly fruitful and I will make nations of you and Kings will come from you. So you saying, all these amazing things not only is this old man who at this point, only has one child Ishmael by his wife's handmaiden but he has no other direct lineage and he saying, I'm going to make nations of you and Kings shall come from you. And you can say where Abraham's mind is at at this point will I got one kid, no more coming. It's obviously going to be through Ishmael. All these nations are going to be created for 7. And I will establish my Covenant between me and you and your descendants after you and their Generation 4. And then he States what. This coven, it is an Everlasting Covenant. This is the Covenant that we're referring to. This is the Covenant that we are making a connection to that the New Covenant of the Messiah in Ezekiel 37 is connecting to this Everlasting Covenant, that Abraham has made available an Everlasting Covenant to be God to you and your descendants after you. So he's saying I'm going to be your God. I'm going to be the guy One of your descendants, and I've your children.

So that's the big takeaway from our verse verse 7. Will it continue on and catch more of the context vs 8. Also I give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger. So he says, I have a covenant context, a covenant relationship with you and everlasting relationship with you for you and your descendants and then he had something on. So this is not that Everlasting Covenant. This is a secondary Covenant. Also, I give to you and your descendants after you, the land in, which you are a stranger. So we know how they land Covenant, but the land is going to be given to Israel and to all who follow all the land of Canaan as an everlasting possession, and I will be there God who they speaking of all of the descendants of Abraham. I'm here at this land of came in, he will be there. God verse 9 and God said to Abraham. As for you, you shall keep my Covenant you and your descendants after you threw out. Their generation. So he has, he said, I have an eternal or an Everlasting Covenant with you. And there's going to be a land, Covenant, and there's a portion that you have to keep verse 10. This is my Covenant, which you shall keep it between me and you and your descendants after you every male child among, you shall be circumcised. Where is 11 and you shall be circumcised In the Flesh of your foreskin and it shall be a sign of the Covenant between me and you. Where is 12? He who was eight days old among you shall be circumcised every male child in your Generations. He who was born in your house or bought with money from any Foreigner, who is not your descendants, for certain. If he who was born in your house and he who has bought with your money must be circumcised in my Covenant shall be in your flesh for an Everlasting Covenant.

Where is 14 and the uncircumcised male child, who is not circumcised In the Flesh of his foreskin. Not person shall be cut off from his people. He has broken my Covenant.

So here we have an interesting Covenant that has been established and has been set forth. There is a mark on the flash but all of Abraham and his descendants are to keep it. Is the mark of circumcision in the mark of circumcision is a cutting away of flash, but is depicting a change, a change in relationship, and because this is a promise to those two are procreated. There is a mark on that, which is part of procreation. So the skin is cut reflecting, the children or progeny are coming from this organ there for members. Will be reflecting of the Covenant relationship that they have with God. God has put his Mark. Seen all who are born of. You will have this Mark and then, as it is, a sexual procreation that sexual organ is changed in such a way as to say God's Mark is there. It is a physical reflection of God's covenant. Some interesting things to take away I'm all throughout history up until Abraham. There has never been a group of individuals who said, yes, let's go get circumcised. It is never happened. There has never been a people group that said yes circumcision is the thing. We need to get that and we need to do it because we don't know but that's what we're going to do it. So it is unique. It is designed by God to reflect his Covenant, which is a covenant with real people. And real time who really actually procreate and it is the seed of their loins their children, their grandchildren that are marked and a few interesting things, I think worth mentioning one, did you know? But it is on the 8th day that we have a rise in hormones in the body. The make that the least Painful possible day for a human being to be circumcised. If you're going to be circumcised, the time to do it is on the 8th day because the benefits are the greatest at that moment coincidence, you might ask other coincidences in God's creation, I don't think so. I'm not a thing to be aware of is that it is the male who is being circumcised, it is not the female who is being circumcised. Now, the Muslims have taken on circumcision by enlarged. There's a very high percentage of Muslims who are circumcised. They have taken the covenants and may follow it as well. We'll get to that in a minute. But something else I want to mention is that only in Islam? Do we see what it? What is a female circumcision? So they will take women even children and they will circumcise the children. Here's an interesting thing to be aware of an interesting fact. In the circumcision of men, there is no change to the sexual pleasure performance, really by taking away that skin, that foreskin removed does not change the pleasure or the ability to procreate. However, when women are circumcised, it is essential parts that are being cut away and it has a massive negative impact on the ability to enjoy to have pleasure in Sex and to procreate. And so down is part of what the Muslim religion places upon their females is to circumcise then which case Call Pleasure away from the sexual act or relationship, they have destroyed women and they have made them simply a vessel of procreation but not able to benefit from the pleasure or the practice. It just shows you how when Satan goes to imitate something, he always does it in a destructive way, who does Dylan Terrace, and it is negative, and impact to the people where he is faking something, cuz there is not in God's realm and God's word. There is no female circumcision, it was a designation for the males. It was appropriate and it was designed for males. People are getting in and messing with that left and right just found out here a week ago that we have someone who is student teaching at Griffin Creek grade school, who is a Trends individual. That means I don't know if it's a guy who is dressed up as a girl or being changed into wine or a girl who's been changed into a guy, But whichever it is, it apparently is well-known and it is in the face of every one of those children. They are having to deal with be taught by how this person parading in front of it. And apparently not doing it quietly or secretly but doing in such a way as that you must know. This is what I'm doing and you two can all do this as well. So we receive it Satan. When he comes in and he gets involved, there is always a Dilla terius negative effects. So that's another thing that you can keep in prayer that those chill. Who are there, who are being impacted by that, that type of sin, that God would give them some resistance to it. That he would give them some ability to see. Clearly, the evil design matters at hand. Remember stand these things I'm moving on.

Got to. Yeah, the, the vitamin vitamin K vitamin K1 is at a higher level. So, the clotting factor is, is higher on the 8th day. So there's a number of things. There are some Some of the Endorphin chemicals that are actually at a higher state. At that point there are some other changes as well. So

Continuing on been in verse 15 and God said to Abraham, as for Sarah by your wife. You shall not call her name. Sarah, but Sarah shall be her name.

Quite a change that happens there. It's essentially changing from from bitter woman to woman of Grace would be one way that we could translate that instead of being a bitter nagging. Contentious woman, she has turned to a woman of Grace, in a woman of favor. So it is not by Maggie, not by being contentious. It turns out that a woman gets what she wants. There's actually by being gracious and being a benefactor of God's grace that the blessings that she actually desires are poured out in her life. Who knew, who would know such a thing? 416 and I will bless her and also give you a son by her, then I will bless her and she shall be a mother of Nations. Kings of peoples shall be from her. Okay. So God just went. And he transformed what's going on in the promises because Abraham. No doubt had some presuppositional thoughts as to how this was going to work out and now he was just updated as to what is actually going to happen. He's actually going to have a son through his wife. Whose name is being changed to Sarah and being changed to Sarah. She is going to have a son will be the recipient of these covenants that God is talking about 4:17 midday prayer ham fell on his face and laughed. Sudden his heart shower child. Be born to a man who is 100 years old and she'll Sara notice. He's already picked up her name.

May seem like he's unbelieving here but he and his heart is already calling her Sarah instead of Ciroc I and she'll Silverado who was 90 years old bear. A child be saying I'm 100. She's 90, we're way past that point of childbearing even in that era in that room when people were having children later into life and the lifetime, the lifespan was easily a hundred and twenty years and they were growing up with people who have lived hundreds of years in their lifespan. But now they were living to about a hundred and twenty years. Even at that point they said well 190 still seems a little bit late to be having a child. Verse 18 Abraham said to God after laughing though, that Ishmael might live before you. He saying, okay, all things aside, I understand I have Ishmael and let's bring up Ishmael and let him be. The one who is, before you verse 19 and then God said, no notice I have it highlighted here. Sarah, your wife shall bear you a son and you shall call his name. Isaac. Since you were just laughing before me. Saying how could this be? We're going to call him laughter for Isaac. I will establish my Covenant with him. Who with who with Isaac? For an Everlasting Covenant, and with his descendants after him. So I'm not going to be doing this thing that you are thinking of, I'm not going to be blessing and have a coming in through Ishmael and his descendants. It will be through this unborn child, who's a child of Grace will be a child of Grace for the human race is a picture of faith of the expression of faith and what face begets Interesting because in developing this pathway, God is also saying I am going to bring another son into existence a son of Faith through whom will be all the promises. You see, God knows what he's doing. So in working here with Abraham Sarah and Isaac, he is pre-staging the work. That is going to be done with the Lord Jesus Christ as well. Who will be a child of faith and through the covenants, and the blessings will come. So, this is to Isaac and his descendants after him. So a 20oz for Ishmael. I have heard you behold, I have blessed him and I will make him fruitful and will multiply him exceedingly. She'll be get 12 princess and I will make him a great nation. So he's going to grow up to be a great man. He will have twelve princes 12 lines Underneath Him and He will be made into a great nation. However, Ishmael will be forever, the enemy of Isaac, the enemy of the promises, the inheritors of the promises. So even though God will bless them physically and he will give Isaac, excuse me, Ishmael a blessed life. Now, there's going to be an enmity that will be between their houses for ever first 21, but my cousin meant I will establish with Isaac. Boom. Sarah shall bear to you at this set time next year. So a year from now, you're going to have that baby on the scene.

First 22, then he finished talking with him and God went up from Abraham. So God was there in the presence of Abraham having this discussion. And then he went up, he went disappeared went to heaven verse 23. So, Abraham took Ishmael his son, all who were born in his house and all were bought with his money, every male among the men of Abraham's house and circumcise the Flesh of their four skins that very same day as God had said to him.

So you did exactly what God commanded and asked, you said, every one of your household with her be a slave, a bought man, someone who lives with you, by choice, whatever. All must be circumcised. You may think that's a little bit weird, why not? Just keep it with Abraham and his progeny. That is his children or even. Just the children of the Covenant, which would be Isaac and those children as well. But you must understand that in the ancient world, we had the same setup, do we have today? If I'm working at a company and I fire off an email to someone and that email comes from my work email address from my work computer and I send it even though I don't have the authorization. Say about vice president or a president of the company even though I'm not an officer. If I send off that email and it comes from the company, it represents the company in the company can be taken to court, and the company will probably lose since their representative sent off an email, making a statement or given an authorization or something to that effect. So, it was back in that day anyone that Abraham sent out represented him. Therefore they were to have the same Covenant Mark upon them as Abraham himself. It it doesn't mean that their children were part of the Covenant doesn't mean that their children's children were part of the Covenant. None of that. But it does mean that they were represented of him here in time and therefore, they must also God said bear that same Mark, all who are associated with, you will be associated with the Covenant. And the story. Do people make that out to be other kinds of weirdness in my mind and it just quite simple a legal practicality, the reality of designated power and authority. When you designate someone to go and do such-and-such, then they have to bear themselves that which gives them that representation. In this case, the circumcised foreskin does.

So Abraham verse 24 was 99 years old when he was circumcised than the Flesh of his foreskin know. Some people will go hungry cuz it just said a few verses ago that he was a hundred and Sarah was 90. But we've talked about this before the numerical system of the Jews and they do a same thing that we do. You know, if it's $99 in 99, I sent to you say why I need to go to the bank and get $99.99 to pay for such and such Or when you think about how much does it cost is, are you thinking it's $100 cuz it is you're just short a penny, so it's $100 expenditure - a penny. So really, that's what we're talking about. Its 100-year. Reality minus a few months or maybe minus a year but running it up. It is a hundred years. So it means the same thing, verse 25 and Ishmael his son was 13 years old when he was circumcised In the Flesh of his foreskin.

13, Izzy. Is the year of coming to age for a Jewish male, not something that is happening yet, but it will be probably if you were to pick one age, one time, that would be the worst to get circumcised. It's probably going to be right at 13 years old, right? As this boy is going through his hormonal changes, it couldn't be a more difficult time to have something like this happen but it did first 26 that very same day Abraham was circumcised and his son Ishmael verse 27, and all the men of his house or in the house or bought with money from a foreigner were circumcised. So why do they were slaves? Born a slave or whether they were slaves that he had purchased more servants that were brought in? They were all circumsized on that say, Day.

So we worked our way through. What the context is that I wanted to give you understanding that? This is an eternal or excuse me, like it throw that in there. It's an everlasting Covenant between God and Abraham and all of the descendants of Abraham. So, we saw it first in verse 13. But he was born in your house and he who is bought with your money. Must be circumsized and my Covenant shall be in your flesh for an Everlasting Covenant. So when it says in your flesh and means those who are your descendants, those who are your flesh. So when I use that term you and your flesh and means you and your family, those who are pro created by you, those who are your biological descendants Then he says, my Covenant shall be in your flesh for an Everlasting Covenant. So what we find is that this Covenant marked out by God with Abraham and his descendants is one, that is Everlasting, and it is Everlasting generation to generation to generation with all biological inheritance. So, next we have on our list, so we saw Abraham. Next, we have Isaac Couple of verses here. So we saw in Genesis 17, verse 19, a reference Year. God said, no sir. I your wife shall bear, you a son, not do you smell, and she'll call his name, Isaac? And I will establish my Covenant with him. So, Abraham is on the title document of the Covenant. You don't like when you go in to buy a house and everyone who is going to be part of the homeowner legal team has their name on that top document. So typically when a husband and wife get married, the husband and the wife, both have their name on that document. So what is happening here is Abraham's name is on the document but also Isaac's name is on the document and he says, and I will establish my Covenant with him for an Everlasting Covenant with his descendant after him. So we see that. Isaac inherits the Covenant. We also see the same thing with Jacob. Jacob also known as Israel. Do we have that mentioned in first Chronicles chapter? 16, verses 17. Others happens to be a Place where David is speaking, and he is signing the history. And so it is David who is talking, but he is telling us about our subject says, and confirmed it to Jacob. That is God, made a covenant with Abraham, and then he confirmed it to Jacob. I should say Abraham, Isaac, and then Jacob for a statute to Israel, which is the other name just like Abraham Abram became Abraham and Sarah. Sorry, I became Sarah. So then we have Jacob, his name changed to Israel and he says, again for an Everlasting Covenant, not a New Covenant, it's the same Covenant, and Jacob's name is been put up on that top level in the title document.

We also see the same thing confirmed and Psalm 105 verse 10. Here we read of this Covenant. And we read in verse 10 and confirmed, it God did to Jacob for a statute. So again, in reference to the Covenant being confirmed to Jacob to Israel as an Everlasting Covenant. So it's the same Everlasting Covenant that has been made to Jake but better known in legal terms on the document as Israel. Just as Abraham used his new legal name with God and Isaac had his legal name designated by God Isaac or laughter and then we have Jacob with his legal title as Israel. So all three of the names that are on the title are the legal names that are given to each of these individuals. Next we see David

So we going down through history, there were talking about this Everlasting Covenant and so we have a couple of verses to look at here, tying it to the davidic Covenant. So I'll give you those references up front and then we'll go back over and then you can catch him again as needed. So 2nd Samuel, 23 vs 5. 2nd Samuel 23, verse 5.

Then we have Psalm 89.

Psalm 89 vs 34 through 37.

Psalm 89 34 through 37 then we had Jeremiah 33. Jeremiah 33 verses 21 and 26.

So going to 2nd Samuel. Verse 23.

Although my house is not so with God. Yet he has made with me an Everlasting Covenant. David is saying here, ordered in all things and secure all legal. All the eyes have been dilated and all the t's have been crossed. And he has made with me and Everlasting Covenant. So we have our same terminology a covenant that has started entered into by God. It is based on his character and therefore it will be Everlasting. Man is constrained to time and creation there for God's covenant Center in to time put a stake in the timeline and then your drawstring on that and move it forward forward through the time of creation. And that's what we have designated here. For this is all my salvation and all of my desire, will he not make it increase? So we have here, the consummate King, the consummate King who understood

Her grace orientation to a relationship with God. You see, he started his relationship with God out in the shepherd pain, shepherding, the flock, and his awareness, his awakeness towards God was based on his education and his mother and his father's feet. He was taught the things of God. But then while he was out working, he ruminated on he process these things, he took them to heart and in so doing, he established himself as one of the greatest thinkers of all of eternity. He is a friend of God because he thinks like God because he thinks and reflects the things of God and here we see reflected in second Samuel, 23 verse 5, the concept of Grace orientation For this is all my salvation and All My Desire, the Deliverance. I look for the desire I have, will he not make it increase? You see, David wasn't stuck on the what do I have to do? To make my life better? He was stuck on the what is God doing? It wasn't about David from his perspective. He knew it was about God. We have a great great conflict in the event. Jellicle world right now. That has to do with people who want to be self meritorious before God and people who are saying I will not be solved meritorious before God, that is a contradiction in terms. I will be Grace oriented before God based on the righteousness of Christ, but other individuals are saying I can bring my own righteousness. They call it the righteousness of Christ, but they change the definition to mean their own Works. Their own enable mint. Their own dependence upon self Give me and you have people who have little bit of mixtures of everything in between, but the pure reality is seen and reflected in King David. He understands everything that is good comes from God Alone. There is no other story. so, we see that mention, Do we have Psalm 89 vs? 34 through, 37 Psalm 89, starting to verse 34. My Covenant, I will not break, ignore all through the word that has gone out of my lips. 4:35 once I have sworn by my Holiness, I will not lie to David. This is God speaking here, God as the guarantor of the Covenant, you say nothing can change. No matter what David has done. My Covenant with him is true, it is sure. Or it is irrevocable. I have sworn to it. I will not lie to David and say I've made an Everlasting Covenant with you and then cut it off. He says that is not the nature of the god of the universe. Verse 36, his seed shall endure forever in his Thrones as the sun before me. So just as time goes forward as the sun is continuously there. He said it's so his seat as they come see it after seed after seed. So they will be inheritors of the promise that I have made. For 37. It shall be established forever. Like the moons as the moon was there, the moon was there when you were born? It's going to be there when you die, if you have seen or watch the Syfy store, is it talk about the moon getting, you know, shot by the nuclear this or that or laser beam or whatever. And it's blowing up in pieces go all over and Devastation to the Earth you can just go ahead and set that aside it is made up in the mind of man and but God has made a promise that is contrary to it. The sun will never cease, the will never cease, those things, are there forever. They are Promises of the character of God, that you can take the heart. They are symbols in a sense of God's Perma. Therefore, we should be aware of and know that God's permanence is real. It's a true thing. So then we go down to Jeremiah 33:1, Jeremiah 33 verse 21.

We read here then. My covenants may also be broken with David, my servant so that he shall not have a son to rain on his throne, and with the Levites, the priests my ministers,

Yeah and I in parallel to help explain this a few verses later. Then I will Cast Away the descendants of Jacob and David my servant so that I will not take any of his descendants to be rulers over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were. I will cause their captives to return and will have mercy on them.

So, what we have referenced here, as I understand it is that we have those who are the direct descendants of David, who are going to be ruling and raining in the Messianic Kingdom and those people who come after them were alive during the Messianic, Kingdom will not be rulers over these, that is David and his sons the other kings. The descendants of Jacob and David my servant. So those who have inherited the promise, God will be true to that promise. And even though there are other people who come along, who could inherit that promise? I'm God is not going to establish them over these people who he has elected to a position in the final Kingdom. Might need a little bit more time. So I think I'm going to break off here. I will review that if I need to say anything else I'll come back and mentioned that next week.

Otherwise that answer is sufficient.

All right, before we close. We have any questions that I raised any thoughts or questions for anyone?

And if not, then we'll close in prayer. Are there any father, we thank you again for this opportunity. An opportunity for practical righteousness, that is your word transforms. Our thinking, our thoughts are replaced by your thoughts. You are the one who changes us and so we pray that not only would we hear these scriptures and understand the study entered into tonight. But you would draw us even deeper into other scriptures that we might consider them and find ourselves changed and transformed by that daily coming to your Mana by the daily, coming to the person in the work of the Lord, Jesus Christ and relying on that. And I living in that and praying with a dependence on brace, it is brought to us. Only through the work of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are so you would have to be with the rest of our congregational family, everyone who is that in me that you would Minister to them, give us those words of wisdom that we might be able to admonish those who are unruly board and encourage those who are weak, or and then be able to speak that word of Saving Grace to anyone who was in need of hearing of your salvation. We pray that you would lead us and guide us in our daily events and that we might find these opportunities based on your provision. We praise you and we thank you in Christ Jesus blessed name, amen.
