Father, thank you for your grace, thank you for all that you do and continue to do in each of our lives and father as we study your word now may your word not return void.
May your word to you.
Exactly what you have purpose forwarded to do.
Jim's.
Jim's last week, we started the book of gems and we saw the theme of the book of James has.
It's time to grow up Warren.
Wisby us says that the church has become a playpen for babies instead of workshops for adults.
The church has become many churches.
I'll become playpens for babies instead of workshop for adults.
That means a lot of people just come just to be entertaining or are just scum in just to do my religious check.
But never grow.
End gym.
That's why the subject and jams.
It's about a spiritual growth.
When Jim says we don't want to be like babies but we want to be spiritually mature, just like the book of Hebrews as a lot of us while we were supposed to be now teachers, but we are still being fed milk.
So James is telling us 8.
I don't want you to be a spiritual baby anymore.
I want you to be eating meat.
I want you to have a steak.
No longer a having just milk.
You see my son just had his birthday.
He didn't ask for a cake but he asked for a stick and he wanted a feeling in your on senior old eats.
What does the same thing that James is trying to get us to James is saying that we need to start getting weaned off milk and we need to go to meet and today is going to be a meat message, not a milk message.
We are going to look at honoring God in our trials.
In our difficulties, in our problems.
Any of you here, have problems or ever had some problems.
So Jim says a lot of things to tell us this morning.
So we're going to look at Moore's 2 to 12 and you can follow along in your message notes, pretty much Gems, as for things that Jim's want to tell us this morning.
But first of all, let me just give you the message in one sentence, the message in a nutshell As you grow in your face, you need to learn to see problems with the Divine perspective.
So that you may honor God, even when your world has been turned upside down, you with me as you grow in faith, you need to learn to see problems with a Divine perspective so that you may on their God, even when your world has been turned upside down, father has bestowed your word now made net return void.
Problems are normal problems, are normal.
So today we going to see as we study the Book of James didn't say, when we going through God or the difficulties or trials, we need to recognize the truth about our trials.
We need to realize God's purpose in our trials.
We need to respond with the proper perspective to our trials.
And then, as a result, we will receive God's rewards for our faithfulness.
We cannot go through them one by one.
So what is a trial, what is a trial?
A trial is a problem that you go in flu that you didn't necessarily do anything to cause that trial, It just happens.
It just comes at you, those trials are God or dreamed in our lives to teach us something.
And that's what we're going to see as we go for the text year in Jim's this morning.
And the first thing that Jim's want us to do as we go for trial difficulties problems in our lives, we need to recognize the truth about trials.
That's our first point.
This morning, we need to recognize the truth about our trials in horse to just says counted Some Joy.
Oh, you're reading.
Count it all joy.
My brothers, when you meet Trials of various, you say, Amen, say Amen.
We don't want to say, Amen.
Here you have problems, you should be joyful.
Joyful that because of the trials and that is coming cuz trials are painful some problems that you face, you.
You never wanted even on your worst enemy.
But James is saying, hey, in your trial.
It's all about perspective for some people when they get into their trials, they get bitter.
While some others get better.
So Jim's is saying to us.
We need to recognize the truth about trials and we need to count it all joy.
Why?
Because of what God is about to do in us a lot of us, waste our trials, God bring a trial into our life with circumstances will health issues, flu financial problems, flu, emotional her through relationships, flu, bad circumstances, whatever it is, but we never learn.
And then what's going to happen when we don't learn from our trials.
They keep repeating.
They keep repeating and repeating and repeating and repeating.
Until we finally get it and learn what we were supposed to learn in.
That trial, every trial.
God has a purpose for us.
Our God is saying to us, we need to know the truth about trials, trials, are beneficial, they are good.
Because of the work they're going to do and US trials are unavoidable.
Will face trials in all of us here, even if we are very young, we have faced some trials.
Remember where your sibling was mean to you as a kid or steal your toy or you hurt your fingers?
C H, O Level that your trial Just Like Old Folks.
We get some serious trials.
You got a little kid, you know, just like your finger with a hammer.
It's like the end of the world for that kid.
If it was somebody else, but they are going to happen.
When you see, it's cloudy outside.
It is going to rain, get your umbrella.
Have you ever realize that life might be going perfectly fine?
And then all of a sudden something just hit you.
Boo?
And then you're asking yourself, where did this one come from going on here?
Sea trials will take you by surprise because trials happened in our life.
They come on expectedly, Aldo trials are expected, but they come at a time when you least expect it.
It's all good.
And then all of a sudden, it just hit you.
Like a rock and Jim says, Amy ready.
That's why James is using an accounting term count.
Can you count?
So James is saying, I want you to count it all joy.
When you fall into that trial, you need to consider it.
And John said, Jim says you count it all joy.
When you meet Trials of all kinds are looked at their, says, my brothers, see a lot of us, we have come to believe that trial the only for the hemans, right?
Those would not know God.
Then why does Jim's telling us here?
Trials are for believers as well.
You see that just bring the Gap Prosperity Gospel flat on its face, telling you telling people that owe you should never ever problems.
Should always be with good health.
You should all your money in your bank account.
You going to have some problems as a Christian.
The Book of James was written to Christians.
Jim says, count it all joy.
My brothers.
Remember it was written to the Christians, the Jewish Christians, in the dispersion, they were all over the world.
