INTRODUCTION
When you hear the word “PRAYER” what comes to mind?
Is it a location you often go to to pray, a specific time you offer up your requests, or maybe even a person that has faithfully prayed for you?
Prayer is a frequent topic and theme throughout the Scripture.
The entirety of the Bible informs us about the relationship we can have with God through this great gift of prayer.
Throughout Scripture contains many written prayers, like those found in the book of Psalm, and many teachings on how to pray, like the parables and sermons in Jesus’s ministry.
Each prayer vary in length, type, posture, purpose, and God’s response.
While each account of prayer maybe different, every prayer recorded in the Bible teaches us about the unchanging God who invites us to speak to and hear from Him.

What Is Prayer?
Prayer is the practice of talking with God, through rhythms of speaking and listening
Through prayer, we present requests to God, give Him praise and thanksgiving, express complaints and anxieties, dedicate someone or something to Him, and more.
