Dream Killers
5 Now Lot, who was moving about with Abram, also had flocks and herds and tents.
6 But the land could not support them while they stayed together, for their possessions were so great that they were not able to stay together.
7 And quarreling arose between Abram’s herders and Lot’s.
The Canaanites and Perizzites were also living in the land at that time.
8 So Abram said to Lot, “Let’s not have any quarreling between you and me, or between your herders and mine, for we are close relatives.
9 Is not the whole land before you?
Let’s part company.
If you go to the left, I’ll go to the right; if you go to the right, I’ll go to the left.”
10 Lot looked around and saw that the whole plain of the Jordan toward Zoar was well watered, like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt.
(This was before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.)
11 So Lot chose for himself the whole plain of the Jordan and set out toward the east.
The two men parted company:
12 Abram lived in the land of Canaan, while Lot lived among the cities of the plain and pitched his tents near Sodom.
Taken Away Dream
There will be a moment where we will be distracted by what’s fair and what is right
it wasn’t fair that Lot got all those things but Abraham wasn’t going to burn the bridges with Lot to get his God dream.
Abraham could have taken control of the situation and be strategic but it wouldn’t be a God dream
There is a difference between authority and favor in the Bible.
Someone who has the power, the authority, The money, the responsibility, the title.
And there are those that have the favor of God.
Think about David when the prophet went to his house the father showed all the sons that looked like warriors, Kings, but God looks at the heart.
David served Saul who had the authority, the title and the responsibility as king, But David had the favor of God.
when you think and feel that the dream is being taken away from you, ask yourself who owns the dream.
I Stewart the dream I don’t own the dream, the owner is God
The enemy will always challenge your identity by asking why you have the right to be here.
If you’re not clear on your personal position on God story you will feel threatened, powerless, and even invisible.
you can ground yourself on the reality that no weapon formed against you will prosper this truth will keep hope alive.
Abraham could give the land to lot because he had heard the words straight from the mouth of God and this truth kept hope alive.

Stop striving, stop getting in the loop of, “is that fair, is that fair , is that right.”

The slip away Dream
11 As he was about to enter Egypt, he said to his wife Sarai, “I know what a beautiful woman you are.
12 When the Egyptians see you, they will say, ‘This is his wife.’
Then they will kill me but will let you live.
13 Say you are my sister, so that I will be treated well for your sake and my life will be spared because of you.”
14 When Abram came to Egypt, the Egyptians saw that Sarai was a very beautiful woman.
15 And when Pharaoh’s officials saw her, they praised her to Pharaoh, and she was taken into his palace.
Another thing that kills your dreams is fear and anxiety
he is stuck he has given away the land to Lot but now he gives away his wife because of fear and anxiety
Remember that God always has a plan, God will make away he won’t let it slip away but will make away
When you are in the midst of fear and unbelief your core message is God has a plan
The danger was not the fact that Abram had abandoned the plan the danger was in Abraham abandoning the dream
God reveals himself through the dream not through the data, the plan, the strategy although those things are helpful it is the dream that takes us forward
You cannot live a brave life if you keep feeding fear and looking at fear
you have to choose are you going to be brave and kick fear in the face and keep moving or are you going to sit down and keep worshiping at the altar fear and anxiety

Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.
You can’t be full of hatred and love at the same time courage and fear at the same time or peace and the anxious at the same time do you have to choose who you gonna serve
How do you deal with fear?
You get it out of your system, write it down, tell someone, get it out confess it
The dream looks like it is being taken away Abraham has made a terrible mistake out of fear and anxiety all of the sudden God speaks to Pharaoh because it’s Gods dream it’s not just Abraham’s dream but it is God‘s dream.
and hear God tells Pharaoh to not just give back his wife but everything that belong to him
The Running Out of Time Dream
One of the biggest things though Enemy will lie to you about is time.
you’re too young, you don’t have any experience, and when you are older than you are too old
