Verses

Ex 33:22 “and while my glory passes by I will put you in a cleft of the rock, and I will cover you with my hand until I have passed by.”

Deut 33:27 “The eternal God is your dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms. And he thrust out the enemy before you and said, ‘Destroy.’”

Ps 18:2 “The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”

Ps 27:5 “For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of his tent; he will lift me high upon a rock.”

Ps 31:20 “In the cover of your presence you hide them from the plots of men; you store them in your shelter from the strife of tongues.”

Ps 46:1-3 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah”

Ps 71:3 “Be to me a rock of refuge, to which I may continually come; you have given the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress.”

Ps 91:2 “I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.””

Is 25:4 “For you have been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat; for the breath of the ruthless is like a storm against a wall,”

Jer 16:19 “O Lord, my strength and my stronghold, my refuge in the day of trouble, to you shall the nations come from the ends of the earth and say: “Our fathers have inherited nothing but lies, worthless things in which there is no profit.”

Zech 9:12 “Return to your stronghold, O prisoners of hope; today I declare that I will restore to you double.”
