The Good News
Do you Have Eternal Life?Question: "Do you have eternal life?"Answer: The Bible presents a clear path to eternal life. First, we must recognize that we have sinned against God. In Scripture we read in Romans chapter 3 and verse 23: "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." We've all done things that are displeasing to God, which makes us deserving of punishment. Because ultimately all our sins are against an eternal God, only an eternal punishment is enough. But in Romans chapter 6 and verse 23 we read, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."In 1 Peter chapter 2 and verse 22, we read that Jesus Christ is the holy Son of God, without sin. In John chapter 1 verses 1 and 14, we read that the eternal Son of God became man and died to pay our penalty. In Romans 5:8 we read, "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Jesus Christ died on the cross (John 19:31-42). He took the blame we deserve (2 Corinthians 5:21). Three days later He rose from the grave, proving His victory over sin and death. (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) And in 1 Peter chapter 1 verse 3 we read: "That according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead."In Acts 3 verse 19, we read that by faith, we must repent and turn from our sin and turn to Christ for salvation. If we put our faith in Him, trusting His death on the cross was the payment for our sins, we will be forgiven and receive the promise of eternal life in heaven. In John 3:16 we read, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." In Romans 10:9 we read: "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" Only faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross is the only true path to eternal life! In Ephesians 2:8-9 we read: "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God; not of works, lest anyone should boast."If you want to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, you can repeat the following prayer: "God, I know I have sinned against you and deserve punishment. But Jesus Christ took the punishment that I deserve so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven. I repent and turn away from my sin and place my trust in You for my salvation. Thank You for Your wonderful grace and for Your forgiveness - the gift of eternal life! In Jesus' name, Amen!" Remember, to pray this prayer or any other is not enough to save you. Only trust and have faith in Christ can save you from sin and give you eternal life in heaven. This prayer is simply a way to express to God your faith in Him and thank Him for providing salvation.Have you made a decision for Christ because of what you have read here? Who is a Christian?Question: "Who is a Christian?"Answer: The Webster Dictionary defines a Christian as "a person who is proud of believing in Jesus as the Christ or in the religion based on the teachings of Jesus." While this is a good starting point to understand who is a Christian, as in many secular definitions, it somehow fails to actually communicate biblical truth of what it means to be a Christian. The word "Christian" is used three times in the New Testament - Acts 11:26; Acts 26:28 and 1 Peter 4:16. The followers of Jesus were called "Christians" first at Antioch because their behavior, activity, and speech were like Christ. (Acts 11:26) This term was originally used by the unsaved people in Antioch (i.e. the unbelievers) as a kind of derogatory nickname used to make fun of Christians. Literally, it means "belonging to the party of Christ" or "partisan or follower of Christ," which is very similar to the way in which the Webster Dictionary defines it.Unfortunately with the passage of time, the word "Christian" has lost much of its meaning and is often used to describe someone religious or who has high moral values, rather than a true follower of Jesus Christ born again (this time in the spirit) as we see in John 3:3. Many people do not believe or trust in Jesus Christ, but are considered Christian simply because they attend church or live in a "Christian" nation. But going to church, serving those less fortunate, or being a good person, does not make one a Christian. A well-spoken evangelist once said, "Going to church does not make one a Christian, like going to a garage makes one a car." Being a member of a church, attending services regularly, and giving to the work of the church, cannot make a Christian. The Bible teaches us that all the good works we do cannot make us acceptable to God. Titus chapter 3 and verse 5 tells us that "God saved us not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit." So, a Christian is someone who has been born again by God (spiritually speaking) and has put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ. We see this in John 3:3,7 and 1 Peter 1:23. In Ephesians 2:8 we read that "by grace we are saved through faith and this not from us, but a gift, a gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast or brag." A true Christian is someone who has repented of their sins and put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ alone. His confidence is not in following a religion or a set of moral codes or a list of things you should or should not do.A true Christian is a person who has put their faith and trust in the person of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that He died on the cross as payment for all the personal sins of each of us and that He rose again the third day to obtain victory over death and to give eternal life to all who believe in Him. John 1:12 says, "But as many as received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God. "A true Christian is indeed a child of God, a part of the true family of God, and one who has been given a new life in Christ. So God puts a desire in the hearts of Christians to completely change your lifestyle and encourages you to live a holy and pure life. The mark of a true Christian is to show love for others and obedience to God's Word. We see this in Scripture in 1 John 2:4 and 1 John 2:10.Have you made a decision for Christ because of what you have read here? If so, please tell us that you have accepted Christ today.
What does it mean to be a born again Christian?Question: "What does it mean to be a born again Christian?"Answer: What does it mean to be a born again Christian? The classic passage from the Bible that answers this question is John 3:1-21. The Lord Jesus Christ is talking to Nicodemus, a prominent Pharisee and member of the Sanhedrin (a ruler of the Jews). He had come to Jesus at night to ask some questions. As Jesus talked with Nicodemus, He said, "... Verily I say unto you, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." Nicodemus said, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born? "Jesus answered," Truly I tell you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again ... "(John 3:3-7).The phrase "born again" literally means "born from above." Nicodemus had a real need. He needed a change of heart - a spiritual transformation. New birth, being born again, is an act of God whereby eternal life is imparted to the person who believes (2 Corinthians 5:17, Titus 3:5, 1 Peter 1:3, 1 John 2:29, 3:9, 4:7, 2:1-4, 18). John 1:12, 13 indicates that "born again" also carries the idea "to become children of God" by trusting in Jesus Christ's name. The question logically comes, "Why does a person need to be born again?" The Apostle Paul in Ephesians 2:1 says, "And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins ..." To the Romans in Romans 3:23, the Apostle wrote, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." So, a person needs to be born again in order to have their sins forgiven and to have a relationship with God.How does that happen? Ephesians 2:8-9 conveys, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God; not of works, lest anyone should boast." When one is "saved," he (or she) has been born again, spiritually has been renovated, and is now a child of God by the law of the new birth. Trusting in Jesus Christ, the One who paid the penalty for sin by His dying on the cross, is what "born again" spiritually means. "Therefore if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation ..." (2 Corinthians 5:17 a).If you have never trusted Jesus Christ as your Savior, would you consider giving place to the Holy Spirit as He speaks to your heart? You need to be born again. Would you say a prayer of repentance and become a new creation today in Christ? "Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God; which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. "(John 1:12-13)If you want to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and be born again, here is a sample prayer. Remember, saying this prayer or any other, will not save you. It is only trusting in Jesus Christ that can free you from sin. This prayer is simply a way to express to God your faith in Him and thank Him for providing for your salvation. "God, I know I have sinned against you and deserve punishment. But Jesus Christ took the punishment that I deserve so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven. I turn away from my sin and place my trust in You for salvation. Thank You for Your wonderful grace and forgiveness - the gift of eternal life! In Jesus' name, Amen! How do I receive God's forgiveness?Question: "How do I receive forgiveness from God?"Answer: Acts 13:38 states, "But know this, men and brethren, that through him is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins"What is forgiveness and why we need it?The word "forgive" means to make a fresh start, to pardon, to cancel a debt. When we are wronged someone, we seek forgiveness in order to restore the relationship. Forgiveness is not granted because the person deserves to be forgiven. Nobody deserves to be forgiven. Forgiveness is an act of love, mercy and grace. Forgiveness is a decision not to hold a grudge against someone else, despite what he has done. The Bible tells us that we all need God's forgiveness. We have all sinned. Ecclesiastes 7:20 says, "There is not a righteous man on earth who does good and never sins." 1 John 1:8 says, "If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not is in us.” All sin is ultimately an act of rebellion against God (Psalm 51:4). As a result, we desperately need God's forgiveness. If our sins are not forgiven, we will spend eternity suffering the consequences of our sins (Matthew 25:46, John 3:36).Forgiveness - How do I get it?Fortunately, God is kind and merciful. He's eager to forgive our sins! 2 Peter 3:9 tells us that God is "... longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance." God wants to forgive, so that has made provision for our forgiveness. The only just punishment for our sins is death. The first part of Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death ..." Eternal death is what we have earned for our sins. God, in His perfect plan, became man in the person of Jesus Christ (John 1:1, 14). Jesus died on the cross, taking the penalty we deserved - death. 2 Corinthians 5:21 tells us, "who knew no sin for us, he did sin, that we might become the righteousness of God in him." Jesus died on the cross, taking the punishment that we deserve! Being God, Jesus' death provided forgiveness for the sins of the whole world. 1 John 2:2 proclaims, "He is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only but also for the whole world. "Jesus rose, proclaiming His victory over sin and death (1 Corinthians 15:1-28). Glory to God, through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the second part of Romans 6:23 is true, "... but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."Want you to have your sins forgiven? You have a nagging sense of guilt that does not seem to disappear? The forgiveness of sins is available if you place your faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior. Ephesians 1:7 says, "In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace." Jesus paid the debt for us so we could be forgiven. All you have to do is ask God to forgive you through Jesus. If you believe that Jesus died to pay for your forgiveness then He will forgive! John 3:16-17 contains this wonderful message, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him. "Forgiveness - Is it really that easy?Yes, it's that easy! You can not earn God's forgiveness. You can not pay God for his forgiveness. You can only receive it by faith, through the grace and mercy of God. If you want to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and receive forgiveness from God, here is prayer you can do. Saying this prayer or any other, will not save him. It is only trusting in Jesus Christ that can free you from sin. This prayer is simply a way to express to God your faith in Him and thank Him for providing for your forgiveness. "God, I know I have sinned against you and deserve punishment. But Jesus Christ took the punishment that I deserve so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven. I turn away from my sin and place my trust in You for salvation. Thank You for Your wonderful grace and forgiveness! In Jesus' name, Amen! How I can be right with God?Question: "How I can be right with God?"Answer: To be "right" with God, we must first understand what is the answer is sin "wrong.". "There is none who does good, not even one" (Psalm 14:3). We have rebelled against God's commandments; "All we like sheep" (Isaiah 53:6).The bad news is that the penalty for sin is death. "The soul that sins shall die" (Ezekiel 18:4). The good news is that a loving God has sought us, to bring us salvation. Jesus said that His purpose was to "seek and save that which was lost" (Luke 19:10), and when he died on the cross fulfilled the purpose stated in the words, "It is finished" (John 19:30).Having a good relationship with God begins by acknowledging his sin. Then comes a humble confession of sin to God (Isaiah 57:15) and a determination to renounce sin. "With the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:10).This repentance must be accompanied by faith. Specifically, faith in the atoning death of Jesus and his miraculous resurrection qualify him to be your Savior. "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" (Romans 10:9). Many other passages speak about the necessity of faith, such as John 20:27; Acts 16:31; Galatians 2:16; 3:11,26 and Ephesians 2:8.Being right with God depends on your response to what God has done for their benefit. He sent the Savior, provided the sacrifice to take away your sin (John 1:29), and offers this promise: "Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Acts 2:21).The parable of the Prodigal Son is a beautiful illustration of repentance and forgiveness (Luke 15:11-32). The younger son wasted his father's property madly living (verse 13). When he acknowledged his wrongdoing, decided to return home (verse 18). Assumed that it would be worthy to be called a son (verse 19), but I was wrong. The father loved him more than ever repented rebel again (verse 20). Everything was forgiven, and what followed was a celebration (verse 24).God is good at keeping his promises, including the promise to forgive. "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted; saves and a contrite spirit "(Psalm 34:18).If you want to be right with God, here is a sample prayer. Remember, saying this prayer or any other, it will not save. It is only trusting in Christ that can free you from sin. In Jesus Name, Amen! "Have you made a decision for Christ because of what you have read here? Is Jesus the only way to Heaven?Question: "Is Jesus the only way to Heaven?"Answer: We often hear these responses from people. ".'m Basically a good person, so I'm going to heaven" "Well, I do some bad things, but I do more good things, so I'm going to heaven" "God will not to send me to hell just because I do not live next to the Bible. Times have changed! "" Only really bad people like child molesters and murderers go to hell. "All these concepts are common among most people, but the truth is that these are all lies. Satan, the ruler of the world, manufactures these thoughts in our heads. He, and anyone who follows his ways, is an enemy of God (1 Peter 5:8). Satan always disguises itself as good (2 Corinthians 11:14), but he has control over all the minds that do not belong to God. "Satan, the god of this world hath blinded the minds of unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God" (2 Corinthians 4:4).It is a lie to believe that God does not care about small sins, and that hell is reserved for "bad people." All sin separates us from God, even a "little white lie blanquita." All have sinned, and none is good enough for heaven itself (Romans 3:23). Into heaven is not based on how good hanging over evil; we will all lose if that is the case. "And if they are saved by God's favor, then it is not by their good works. In that case, the wonderful favor of God would not be what it really is - free and undeserved "(Romans 11:6). We can do nothing good to earn our way to heaven (Titus 3:5)."Enter into the kingdom of God through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat "(Matthew 7:13). Even if each one lives a life of sin and trust in God is not popular, God will not forgive him. "I used to live just like the rest of the world, full of sin, obeying Satan, the prince of the power of the air. He is the spirit that now worketh in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God "(Ephesians 2:2).When God created the world, was perfect. Everything was good. Then he made Adam and Eve and gave them free will, so that they could choose to follow and obey God or not. But Adam and Eve, the first people God created, were tempted by Satan to disobey God, and sinned. This separated them (and everyone who came after them, including us) to be able to have a close relationship with God. He is perfect and can not be from sin. As sinners, we could not do for ourselves. So God made a way for us to be united with Him in heaven. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23). Jesus was born to show us the way, to die for our sins, and thus able to be released. Three days after His death, Jesus rose from the grave (Romans 4:25), proving His victory over death. He bridged the gap between God and man, so that we can have a personal relationship with Him if we only believe."And this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent" (John 17:3). Most people believe in God, even Satan does. But to receive salvation, we must turn to God, form a personal relationship, turn away from our sins and follow Him. We must trust Jesus with everything we have and everything we do. "There has been justice of God through faith in Jesus Christ to take away our sins. And we can all be saved in this way, no matter who we are or what we have done "(Romans 3:22). The Bible teaches that there is no other way to salvation except through Christ. In John 14:6 Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life; No one comes to the Father except through me. "Jesus is the only way of salvation because it is the only one who can pay our sin penalty (Romans 6:23). No other religion teaches the severity or seriousness of sin and its consequences. No other religion offers the infinite payment of sin that only Jesus Christ can provide. The only way an infinite debt could be paid - No other "religious founder" was God who became man (John 1:1,14). Jesus had to be God so that He could pay our debt. Jesus had to be man so he could die. Salvation is available only through faith in Jesus Christ! "And there is salvation in no one else; there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved "(Acts 4:12).Have you made a decision for Christ because of what you have read here? If so, please tell us that you have accepted Christ today.
What is the plan of salvation?Question: "What is the plan of salvation?"Answer: Are you hungry? Not physically hungry, but you have a desire for something more in life? Is there something deep inside that never seems to be satisfied? If so, Jesus is the way! Jesus said, "I am the bread of life; that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst "(John 6:35).Are you confused? Can never find a path or purpose in life? Seems like someone turned off the lights and you can not find the switch? If so, Jesus is the way! Jesus proclaimed, "I am the light of the world; he who follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life "(John 8:12).Have you ever felt like that he has closed the door of life? Have you tried to open many doors, only to find that all behind them is empty and meaningless? Are you looking for an entrance to a full life? If so, Jesus is the way! Jesus declared, "I am the door; which enters through me will be saved; and shall go in and out, and find pasture "(John 10:9).What other people always disappoint? Do your relationships been shallow and empty? It seems like everyone is trying to take advantage of you? If so, Jesus is the way! Jesus said, "I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep ... I am the good shepherd; I know my own and my own know me "(John 10:11,14).Have you ever wondered what happens after life? Are you tired of living your life for things that only corrupt and corrode? Did you ever doubt that life has any meaning? Do you want to live after I die? If so, Jesus is the way! Jesus declared, "I am the resurrection and the life; he that believeth in me, though he dies, will live. And whoever lives and believes in me shall never die "(John 11:25-26).Who is the way, 'Who is it? Who is life? Jesus answered, "I am the way, the truth, and the life; No one comes to the Father except through me "(John 14:6).The hunger that you feel is a spiritual hunger, and can only be satiated by Jesus. Jesus is the only one who can dispel darkness. Jesus is the door to a fulfilling life. Jesus is the friend and shepherd that you searched. Jesus is the life - in this world and the next. Jesus is the way of salvation! The reason you feel hungry, the reason seems to be lost in the dark, the reason I can not find meaning in life, is that you are separated from God. The Bible tells us that all have sinned, and therefore are separated from God (Ecclesiastes 7:20, Romans 3:23). The emptiness you feel in your heart is the absence of God in your life. We were created to have a relationship with God. Because of our sin, we are separated from that relationship. Even worse, our sin can cause us to be separated from God for eternity - in this life and the next (Romans 6:23, John 3:36).How can this problem be solved? Jesus is the way! Jesus, for us, was made sin (2 Corinthians 5:21). Jesus died in our place (Romans 5:8), taking the punishment that we deserved. Three days later, Jesus rose, demonstrating His victory over sin and death (Romans 6:4-5). Why did? God himself answered that question, "Greater love hath no man than this, that he lay down his life for his friends" (John 15:13). Jesus died so that we might live. If we put our faith in Jesus, trusting His death as the payment for our sins, then all our sins are forgiven and washed. And so our spiritual hunger will be satisfied. The lights will flash. Have access to a full life. Meet our best friend and good shepherd. We know that life after death - a risen life with Jesus in heaven for eternity!"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).Have you made a decision for Christ because of what you have read here? If so, please tell us that you have accepted Christ today.
Is there life after death?Question: "Is there life after death?"Answer: The existence of life after death is a question universally made by mankind. Job spoke for us all when asked, "Man born of woman is of few days and full of trouble, out like a flower and is cut down, and flees like a shadow and does not remain ... if a man die, shall he return to live? "(Job 14:1-2, 14).Like Job, almost all of us have been challenged by this question. What exactly happens after we die? Do we simply exist? Is life a revolving door that exits and returns to earth in order to achieve personal greatness? Are all go to the same place, or go to different places? Is there really a heaven and a hell? The Bible tells us that there is not only life after death, but there is an eternal life so glorious that "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them who love him "(1 Corinthians 2:9). Jesus Christ, God incarnate, came to earth to give us the gift of eternal life. "But he was wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed "(Isaiah 53:5).Jesus took the punishment that each of us deserve and sacrificed his life. Three days later, He was victorious over death by rising from the grave. He remained on earth for forty days and was seen by thousands before ascending to heaven. Romans 4:25 says, "Who was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification."The resurrection of Christ was a well-documented event. The Apostle Paul challenged people to question eyewitnesses of the validity of the resurrection, and no one was able to challenge this truth. The resurrection is the cornerstone of the Christian faith; because Christ rose from the dead, we can have faith that we will also be resurrected. The resurrection of Jesus is the ultimate proof of life after death. Christ was only the first of a great harvest of people who will be resurrected back to life. Physical death came through a man, Adam, who are all related. But all who have been adopted into the family of God through faith in Jesus Christ, we receive new life (1 Corinthians 15:20-22). Just as God raised Jesus' body, and our bodies will be resurrected when Jesus (1 Corinthians 6:14) again.Although eventually all be resurrected, not all will go to heaven. In this life, each person must make a decision, and this will determine your eternal destiny. The Bible says it is appointed for us to die once, and after that comes judgment (Hebrews 9:27). Those who have been made righteous by faith in Christ will go to eternal life in heaven, but those who reject Christ as Savior will be sent to eternal punishment in hell (Matthew 25:46).Hell, like heaven, is not only a state of existence, but a literal and very real place. It is a place where the unrighteous will experience the eternal wrath of God without end. They bear emotional, mental and physical torments knowingly suffering from shame, remorse and contempt. Hell is described as an endless abyss (Luke 8:31, Revelation 9:1), and a lake of fire that burns with sulfur, where the inhabitants will be tormented day and night forever and ever (Revelation 20: 10). In hell, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, kicking off intense grief and anger (Matthew 13:42). This is a place "where their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched" (Mark 9:48).God does not want the death of the wicked, but turn from his evil way to live (Ezekiel 33:11). But God will not force us into submission. If we choose to reject it, He accepts our decision to live apart from Him forever. Life on earth is a test - a preparation for what is to come. For believers, is eternal life in the immediate presence of God. For unbelievers, life after death is an eternity in the lake of fire.So how can we receive eternal life and avoid an eternity in the lake of fire? There is only one way - through faith and trust in Jesus Christ. Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life; he that believeth in me, though he dies, will live, and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die ... "(John 11: 25-26).The free gift of eternal life is available to all. "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; but he that believeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him "(John 3:36). We will not be given the opportunity to receive God's gift of eternal life after death. Our eternal destiny is determined during life on earth, by our acceptance or rejection of Jesus Christ. "Behold now is the accepted time; behold now is the day of salvation. "(2 Corinthians 6:2) If we trust in Jesus' death as the payment for our sin against God, we are not only ensures a meaningful life on earth, but also eternal life after death in the glorious presence of Christ. If you want to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, here is a sample prayer. Remember, saying this prayer or any other, it will not save. It is only trusting in Christ that can free you from sin. This prayer is simply a way to express to God your faith in Him and thank Him for providing salvation. In the name of Christ, Amen! "Have you made a decision for Christ because of what you have read here? How I can know for sure that I will go to Heaven when you die?Question: "How I can know for sure that I will go to Heaven when you die?"Answer: Do you know for sure that you have eternal life and who will go to Heaven when you die? God wants you to be safe! The Bible says: "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may know that ye have eternal life" (1 John 5:13). Suppose you were standing before God right now and He asked you, "Why should I let you into Heaven?" What would you say? Maybe I would not know what to say. What you need to know is that God loves us and has provided a way by which we can know for sure where we will spend eternity. The Bible states it this way: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16) .We must first understand the problem that prevents us access to Heaven. The problem is this - our sinful nature keeps us from having a relationship with God. We are sinners by nature and by choice. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). We can not save ourselves. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God; not by works, lest anyone should boast "(Ephesians 2:8-9). We deserve death and hell. "For the wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23).God is holy and just and must punish sin. Yet, He loves us and has provided forgiveness for our sin. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life; No one comes to the Father except through me "(John 14:6). Jesus died on the cross for us: "For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, to bring us to God" (1 Peter 3:18). Jesus was raised from the dead: "Who was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification" (Romans 4:25).So, back to the original question - "How I can know for sure that I will go to heaven when you die?". The answer is this - Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved (Acts 16:31). "Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God" (John 1:12). You can receive eternal life as a FREE gift. "The gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23). Right now, you can live a full and meaningful life. Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly" (John 10:10). They can spend eternity with Jesus in heaven, for He promised: "And if I go and prepare a place, I will come again, and receive you unto myself, that where I am you may be also (John 14:3) .If you want to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and receive forgiveness from God, here is a sample prayer you can do. Saying this prayer or any other, it will not save. It is only trusting in Christ that can provide forgiveness of sins. In the Name of Jesus, Amen! "Have you made a decision for Christ because of what you have read here? What is the right religion for me?Question: "What is the right religion for me?"Answer: The fast food restaurants tempt us, to enable us to order our food exactly as we want. Some cafes boast about hundreds of different coffee flavors and variations. Even when we buy houses and cars, we can look for one with all the options and features desired. We no longer live in a world of chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. The selection is king! You can find almost anything you want according to your own tastes and needs. So, how about a religion that is right for you? How about a religion free of guilt, that does not make demands, and is not loaded with a lot of annoying rules of what one should or should not do? It's there, just as I have described it, but religion is something to be chosen as a favorite ice cream flavor? There are plenty of voices competing for our attention, then why one should consider Jesus than, say, Mohammed, Confucius, Buddha, Charles Taze Russell, and Joseph Smith? After all, not all roads lead to heaven? Are not all religions basically the same? The truth is that not all religions lead to heaven, and not all roads lead to Rome.Only Jesus speaks with the authority of God because only Jesus overcame death. Mohammed, Confucius, and others crumble in their graves until today, but Jesus, by His own power, left the tomb three days after dying on a cruel Roman cross. Anyone who has the power over death, deserves your attention. Anyone who has the power over death deserves to be heard.Evidence proving the resurrection of Jesus is overwhelming. First, There were over five hundred eyewitnesses to the risen Christ! That's a lot of eyewitnesses. Five hundred voices can not be ignored. There is also the issue of the empty tomb; Jesus' enemies could easily have stopped all the talk about the resurrection to present its dead and broken body, but there was a body to present! The tomb was empty! Could the disciples have stolen the body? Hardly. To prevent such an eventuality, the tomb of Jesus had been heavily guarded by armed soldiers. Whereas his closest followers had fled fearing His arrest and crucifixion, it is highly unlikely that this poor set of frightened fishermen had faced a heads-trained professional soldiers. The simple fact is that the resurrection of Jesus can give no explanation!Again, anyone who has power over death deserves to be heard. Jesus proved His power over death, therefore, need to hear what he says. Jesus claims to be the only way to salvation (John 14:6). He is not a path; He is not one of many ways. Jesus is the way.And this Jesus says, "Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28) This is a tiring world and life is difficult. Most of us are fairly suffered, wounded and damaged. Do you agree? So, what do you want? A reset or mere religion? A living Savior or one of many "prophets" dead? A significant relationship or empty rituals? Jesus is not a choice - he is the choice! If you're looking for forgiveness, Jesus is the true "religion" (Acts 10:43). Jesus is the true religion if you're looking for a meaningful relationship with God (John 10:10). Jesus is the true "religion" if you are looking for an eternal home in heaven (John 3:16). Put your faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior. Do not regret it! Trust Him for the forgiveness of their sins. Do not be disappointed! If you want to have a "real relationship" with God, here is a sample prayer. Remember, saying this prayer or any other, it will not save. It is only trusting in Christ that can free you from sin. This prayer is simply a way to express to God your faith in Him and thank Him for providing salvation. In the Name of Jesus, Amen! What is the Romans Road to salvation?Question: "What is the Romans Road to salvation?"Answer: The Romans Road to salvation is a way of sharing the gospel of salvation using verses from the New Testament book written to the Romans. This is a simple, yet powerful method of explaining why we need salvation, how God provided salvation, how we can receive salvation, and what are the results of salvation are.The first verse of the Romans Road to salvation is Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." We have all sinned. We've all done things that are displeasing to God. No one is innocent. Romans 3:10-18 gives a detailed description of what sin looks like in our lives. The second script in the way of the Romans to salvation is Romans 6:23, teaches us the consequences of sin - "For the wages of sin is death ..." The penalty won by our sin is death. Not only physical death, but eternal death! The third verse on the Romans Road to salvation is in the second half of Romans 6:23, "but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 5:8 declares, "But God His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. " Jesus Christ died for us! Jesus' death paid the price for our sins. The resurrection proves that God accepted Jesus' death as payment for our sins Jesus. The fourth stop on the Romans Road to salvation is Romans 10:9, "That if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Because Jesus' death on our behalf, all we have to do is believe in Him, trusting His death as payment for our sins - and we will be saved! Romans 10:13 says it again, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Jesus died to pay the penalty for our sins and rescue us from eternal death. Salvation, the forgiveness of sins, is available to anyone who trusts in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The final aspect of the Romans Road to salvation is the result of salvation. Romans 5:1 has this wonderful message, "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Through Jesus Christ we can have a relationship of peace with God. Romans 8:1 teaches us, "therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus." Because of Jesus' death on our behalf, we will never be condemned for our sins. Finally, we have this precious promise of God in Romans 8:38-39, "For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. "Would you like to follow the Romans Road to salvation? If so, here is a simple prayer you can do for God. Saying this prayer is a way to declare to God that you are relying on Jesus Christ for salvation. The words themselves will not save him. Only faith in Jesus Christ that can give salvation! God, I know I have sinned against you and deserve punishment. But Jesus Christ took the punishment that I deserve so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven. With your help, I turn from my sin and place my trust in You for salvation. Thank You for Your wonderful grace and forgiveness - the gift of eternal life! In the Name of Jesus, Amen! What is called 'sinner's prayer'?Question: "What is called 'sinner's prayer'?"Answer: Prayer commonly called "sinner's prayer" is a sentence you do when you understand that God is a sinner and in need of a Savior. Saying this prayer will accomplish nothing by itself. A genuine sinner's prayer is only what one knows, understands, and believes about their sinfulness and need of salvation. The first aspect of a sinner's prayer is understanding that we are all sinners. Romans 3:10 proclaims, "As it is written:. No one righteous, not even one," The Bible makes it very clear that all have sinned. We are all sinners in need of mercy and forgiveness of God (Titus 3:5-7). Because of our sin, we deserve eternal punishment (Matthew 25:46). The sinner's prayer is a plea for grace instead of judgment. It is a request for mercy instead of wrath. The second aspect of the sinner's prayer is to know what God has done to remedy our lost and sinful condition. God became flesh and became a human being in the Person of Jesus Christ (John 1:1,14). Jesus taught us the truth about God and lived a perfectly righteous and sinless life (John 8:46, 2 Corinthians 5:21). Jesus died on the cross in our place, taking the punishment that we deserve. (Romans 5:8) Jesus rose from the dead to prove His victory over sin, death and hell (Colossians 2:15, 1 Corinthians chapter 15). For all this, we can have our sins forgiven and the promise of an eternal home in heaven - if only we put our faith in Jesus Christ. All we have to do is believe that He died in our place and rose from the dead (Romans 10:9-10). We can be saved by grace alone, through faith alone, and Christ alone. Ephesians 2:8 says, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. "Ask the sinner's prayer is simply a way to declare to God that you trust Jesus Christ as their Savior. There is no "magical" words that result in salvation. It is only faith in Jesus Christ's death and resurrection, which can save us. If you understand that you are a sinner and in need of salvation in Jesus Christ, you can pray this prayer to God now, "God, I know I am a sinner. I know that I deserve the consequences of my sin. However, I am trusting in Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe that His death and resurrection made provision for my forgiveness. I trust in Jesus, and in Him as my Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord, for saving me and forgiving me! In the name of Christ, Amen! "Have you made a decision for Christ because of what you have read here? What are the Four Spiritual Laws?Question: "What are the Four Spiritual Laws?"Answer: The Four Spiritual Laws are a way to share the good news of salvation available through faith in Jesus Christ. It's a simple way to organize important information in the Gospel in four points. The first of the Four Spiritual Laws is "God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life." John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 10:10 gives us the reason that Jesus came. "I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly." What prevents us from experiencing the love of God? What prevents us from having an abundant life? The second of the Four Spiritual Laws is, "Humanity is tainted by sin, and therefore is separated from God. As a result, we can not know God's wonderful plan for our lives. " Romans 3:23 says this information, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 6:23 gives us the consequences of sin, "For the wages of sin is death." God created us for us to have fellowship with Him, however, humanity brought sin into the world, and therefore is separated from God. We have ruined the relationship God wanted us to have with Him what is the solution? The third of the Four Spiritual Laws is, "Jesus Christ is God's only provision for our sin. Through Jesus Christ, we can have our sins forgiven and restore a right relationship with God. " Romans 5:8 tells us, "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 tells us we need to know and believe to be saved, "... that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and rose again the third day according to the Scriptures ... "In John 14:6, Jesus himself declares that He is the only way to salvation," I am the way, the truth, and the life; No one comes to the Father except through me. " How I can receive this wonderful gift of salvation? The fourth of the Four Spiritual Laws is, "We must put our faith in Jesus Christ as Savior, to receive the gift of salvation and know God's wonderful plan for our lives." John 1:12 describes this for us, "But as many as received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God." Acts 16:31 says it very clearly, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved!" We can only be saved by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9).If you want to trust in Jesus as their Savior, say the following words to God. Saying these words is not going to save, but, trusting in Christ! This prayer is simply a way to express to God your faith in Him and thank Him for providing for your salvation. You can now repeat this prayer - "God, I know that I have sinned against you and deserve punishment. But Jesus Christ took the punishment that I deserve, and through faith in Him I can be forgiven. I turn away from my sin and place my trust in You for salvation. Thank You for Your wonderful grace and forgiveness - the gift of eternal life! In the name of Jesus, Amen! What does it mean to accept Jesus as your personal Savior?Question: "What does it mean to accept Jesus as your personal Savior?"Answer: Have you ever accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior? Before you answer, let me explain the question. To fully understand this question, you must first understand the meaning of the words "Jesus Christ," "Savior" and "personal."Who is Jesus Christ? Many people recognize Jesus Christ as a good man, a great teacher, or even a prophet of God. These things are definitely some of Jesus, but they do not really define who He is The Bible tells us that Jesus is God in flesh, that He became a human being (see John 1:1,14). Jesus came to earth to teach, heal, correct, and forgive, and even more, to die for us. Jesus Christ is God, the Creator, the Sovereign Lord. Have you ever believed in this Jesus? What is a Savior and why we need a Savior? The Bible tells us that all have sinned, we have committed evil acts (Romans 3:10-18). As a result of our sin, we deserve the wrath and judgment of God. The only just punishment for sins committed against an infinite and eternal God, is an infinite punishment (Romans 6:23, Revelation 20:11-15). That is why we need a Savior!Jesus Christ came to earth and died in our place. The death of Jesus, as God in the flesh, was an infinite payment for our sins (2 Corinthians 5:17). Jesus died to pay the penalty for our sins (Romans 5:8). Jesus paid the price for us what we had to do. Jesus' resurrection from the dead proved that His death was sufficient to pay the penalty for our sins. That is why Jesus is the only Savior! (John 14:6, Acts 4:12) Are you trusting in Jesus as your Savior? Is Jesus your Savior "personal"? Many people view Christianity as attending church, holding rituals, or not committing certain sins. But that is not Christianity. True Christianity is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Accepting Jesus as your personal Savior is to put your faith and trust in Him personally None is saved by the faith of others. No one is forgiven by doing certain works. The only way to be saved is to personally accept Jesus as your Savior, trusting His death as payment for their sins, and His resurrection as your guarantee of eternal life (John 3:16). Is Jesus your personal Savior? If you want to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, say the following words to God. Remember, saying this prayer or any other, it will not save. It is only trusting in Christ that can free you from sin. This prayer is simply a way to express to God your faith in Him and thank Him for providing for your salvation. You can repeat this prayer with me now - "God, I know that I have sinned against you and deserve punishment. But Jesus Christ took the punishment that I deserve, and through faith in Him I can be forgiven. I turn away from my sin and place my trust in You for salvation. I accept Jesus as my personal Savior! Thank You for Your wonderful grace and forgiveness - the gift of eternal life! In the name of Christ, Amen! "Have you made a decision for Christ because of what you have read here? What are the steps to salvation?Question: "What are the steps to salvation?"Answer: Many people are looking for "steps to salvation." People liked the idea of an instruction manual with five steps that if you follow them, will result in salvation. An example of this is Islam with its Five Pillars. According to Islam, if the Five Pillars are obeyed, salvation is granted. And because the idea of a step by step process to salvation is appealing, many of the Christian community make the mistake of presenting salvation as a result of a process step by step. Roman Catholicism has seven sacraments. Several Christian denominations add baptism, public confession, turning from sin, speaking in tongues, etc.. as steps to salvation. But the Bible only presents one step to salvation. When the Philippian jailer asked Paul, "What must I do to be saved?" Paul answered, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved." (Acts 16:30-31).Faith in Jesus Christ as Savior is the only "step" to salvation. The message of the Bible is abundantly clear. We have all sinned against God (Romans 3:23). And as a result of our sin, we deserve to be eternally separated from God (Romans 6:23). As a result of his love for us (John 3:16), God took on human form and died in our place, so taking the punishment that we deserve (Romans 5:8, 2 Corinthians 5:21). God promises forgiveness of sins and eternal life in heaven to all who receive Jesus Christ as their Savior, by grace through faith. (John 1:12, 3:16, 5:24, Acts 16:31).Salvation is obtained through certain steps we must take to earn salvation. Yes, Christians should be baptized. Yes, Christians should publicly confess Christ as their Savior. Yes, Christians should turn from sin. Yes, Christians should commit their lives to obey God. However, these are not steps to salvation. They are results of salvation. Because of our sin, we can not possibly earn salvation. We could go 1000 steps, and not enough. That is why Jesus had to die in our place. We are absolutely unable to pay our sin debt to God or to cleanse us from our sin. Only God could accomplish our salvation, and he did. God Himself completed the "steps" and thereby offers salvation to anyone who receives HimSalvation and forgiveness of sins have nothing to do with following certain steps. It is by receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and recognize that He has done all the work for us. God requires of us a step - that of receiving Jesus Christ as our Savior, trusting wholly and only in Him as the way to salvation. That's what distinguishes the Christian faith from other religions of the world, which have a list of steps that must be followed to get to receive salvation. The Christian faith recognizes that God has already completed the steps and simply calls us to receive Jesus by faith.Have you made a decision for Christ because of what you have read here? How do I become a Christian?Question: "How do I become a Christian?"Answer: A man in the Greek city of Philippi asked them a question very similar to Paul and Silas. We know at least three things about this man who was jailer, was a pagan, and desperate. He had been on the verge of suicide when Paul stopped him. And that's when the man asked, "What must I do to be saved" (Acts 16:30).The very fact that man did this question shows that he recognized his need for salvation, their only expectation was death for himself, and he knew he needed help. The fact that he asked Paul and Silas, shows that he believed they had the answer. The response was quick and simple: "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved" (verse 31). The passage then shows how the man believed and became a Christian. His life began to show the difference from that day.Note that the conversion of man was based on faith (The text says "Believe") He had to trust in Jesus and nothing else. The man believed that Jesus was the Son of God (The text says "Lord") and the Messiah who fulfilled the Scriptures (The text says "Jesus Christ"). His faith also included the belief that Jesus died for our sins and rose again, because that was the message that Paul and Silas were preaching (Romans 10:9-10 and 1 Corinthians 15:1-4)."Becoming" literally means "to turn." When we turn to one thing, we turn of necessity otherwise. When we turn to Jesus, we must turn from sin. The Bible calls this sin become "repent" and turn to Jesus "faith." Therefore, repentance and faith are complementary. Repentance and faith are given in 1 Thessalonians 1:9 where it says "... how you turned to God from idols ..." A Christian will leave behind their previous paths and all belonging to the false religion as a result of conversion genuine Christianity. To simplify it, to become a Christian, you must believe that Jesus is the Son of God who died for your sins and rose again. You must agree with God that you are a sinner with a need of salvation, and you must trust in Jesus alone to save you. When you turn from sin to Christ, God promises to save you and give the Holy Spirit who will make you a new creature.Christianity, in its true form, is not a religion. Christianity, according to the Bible, is a relationship with Jesus Christ. Christianity is God offering salvation to all who believe and trust in Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. A person who becomes a Christian is not someone who leaves a religion for another religion. Becoming a Christian is to receive the gift that God offers and start a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that results in the forgiveness of sins and an eternity in heaven after death.Want to convert to Christianity by what you've read in this article? If so, this is a simple prayer you can offer God. Repeat this prayer, or any other, will not save you. It is only trusting in Christ that saves you from sin. This prayer is simply a way to express to God your faith in Him and thank Him for providing for your salvation. You can now repeat this prayer, "God, I know that I have sinned against You and deserve punishment. But Jesus Christ paid the penalty I deserve, and through faith in Him I can be forgiven. I put my trust in You for my salvation. Thanks for your wonderful grace and forgiveness - the gift of eternal life! In the Name of Jesus, Amen! How I can become a Christian?Question: "How I can become a Christian?"Answer:. "Christian" The first step to becoming a Christian is to understand what the term "Christian" term originated in the city of Antioch in the first century AD (See Acts 11:26). It is possible that at first, the term "Christian" has the intention to be used as an insult. Essentially the word means "little Christ." However, through the centuries, believers in Christ have adopted the term "Christian" and use it to identify themselves as followers of Jesus Christ. A simple definition of a Christian is a person who follows Jesus Christ. Why should I become a Christian?Jesus said of Himself, "The Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many." (Mark 10:45). The question then arises - why do we need to be rescued? The idea of a ransom is a payment to be made in exchange for the release of a person. This term is most often used in hostage situations, when someone is kidnapped and held prisoner until a ransom is paid to secure his release.Jesus paid our ransom to free from slavery! What? Slavery? Bondage of sin and its consequences, physical death followed by eternal separation from God. Why did Jesus need to pay this ransom? Because we are all infected with sin (Romans 3:23), and therefore are deserving of God's judgment (Romans 6:23). How did Jesus pay our ransom? Dying on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins (1 Corinthians 15:3, 2 Corinthians 5:21). How could Jesus' death be sufficient payment for all our sins? Jesus was God in human form. God came into the world to become one of us, to identify with us and die for our sins (John 1:1,14). As God, Jesus' death was of infinite value, sufficient payment for the sins of the whole world (1 John 2:2). The resurrection of Jesus after His death demonstrated that His death was a sufficient sacrifice, and that He truly conquered sin and death. How I can become a Christian? This is the best part. By His love for us, God has made infinitely simpler to become a Christian. All you have to do is receive Jesus as your Savior, fully accepting His death as the sufficient sacrifice for your sins (John 3:16). Becoming a Christian is not about rituals, attend church, or do certain things and refrain from others. In short, becoming a Christian is to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. A personal relationship with Jesus Christ through faith, is what makes a person a Christian. Are you ready to become a Christian? If you are ready to make you a Christian by receiving Jesus Christ as your Savior, all you have to do is believe. Do you understand and believe that you have sinned and deserve God's judgment? Do you understand and believe that Jesus took your punishment upon Himself, dying in your place? Do you understand and believe that Jesus' death was the sufficient sacrifice to pay for your sins? If you answered yes to these three questions, then just put your trust in Jesus as your Savior. Get it by faith, fully trusting in Him alone. That's all you need to do to be a Christian!Have you made a decision for Christ because of what you have read here? How can I be a child of God?Question: "How I can be a child of God?"Answer: "But as many as received Him (Jesus), to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God" (John 1:12)."You must be born again"When Jesus was visited by the religious leader Nicodemus, He said no heaven immediately. Instead, Christ said, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he can not see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3).When a person is born physically, inherited the sin nature as a result of Adam's disobedience in the Garden of Eden. Nobody has to teach a child to lie. He naturally follows his own wrong desires, which lead to sins such as lying, stealing and hating. Instead of being a child of God, he is a child of wrath and disobedience."And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience, among whom also we all once in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as others "(Ephesians 2.: 1-3).As children of wrath, deserve to be separated from God in hell. Fortunately, the passage continues, "But God, being rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)." (Ephesians 2: 4-5)How are we made alive with Christ / born again / children of God? We must receive Jesus!"Receiving Jesus""But as many as received Him (Jesus), to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God." (John 1:12)This passage clearly explains how to become children of God. We receive Jesus by faith in Him do we believe about Jesus?First, we must recognize that Jesus is the eternal Son of God who became man. He was born of the Virgin Mary by the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus did not inherit Adam's sinful nature. Therefore, He is called the second Adam (1 Corinthians 15:22). While Adam's disobedience brought the curse of sin upon the world, the perfect life of Jesus Christ can cover our sinful lives. Our response to this must be to repent (turn from sin), trusting that His perfect life purifies us.Second, we must have faith in Jesus as our Savior. God's plan was perfect sacrifice His Son on the cross to pay the penalty we deserve for our sins: death. The death of Christ frees from the penalty and power of sin to those who receive it.Finally, we follow Jesus as Lord. After Christ rose victorious over sin and death, God gave all authority (Ephesians 1:20-23). Jesus guides those who receive it; but He will judge all who reject Him (Acts 10:42).By the grace God has given us to repent and have faith in the Savior and Lord are born again to new life as children of God. Only those who receive Jesus - not just those who know Him, but those who trust in Him for salvation, submit to Him as their Lord and Master, and they love him as the supreme treasure - are children of God."Becoming a child of God""But as many as received him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God; which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. "(John 1:12-13)Just as we did not have any interest in our natural birth, we can not achieve our birth into the family of God through good works or invoking faith arising from us. As stated by the above verses, God is the one who "has the right" according to your gracious will. "See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God." (1 John 3:1). So the son of God has nothing to be proud of, but only glory in the Lord (Ephesians 2:8-9).A child grows to resemble their parents. Similarly, God wants His children to become more and more like Jesus Christ. Although only in heaven can be perfect, not a child of God will sin without repenting regularly. "Little children, let no man deceive he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was to destroy the devil's work. Whosoever is born of God practices sin, because God's seed remains in him; and he can not sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness, and who does not love his brother is not of God "(1 John 3:7-10)..Make no mistake; a child of God can not be "disowned" by sin. But someone who "practice" sin (eg. Enjoys consistently ignoring sin to follow Christ and His Word), reveals that he has never been born again. Jesus said of such people, "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do." (John 8:44). Moreover, the children of God no longer attracted to the gratification of sin; but the desire to know, love, and glorify your Father. The reward of being children of God is immeasurable. As children of God, we are part of His family (the church) have promised a home in heaven, and we are given the right to approach God in prayer as our Father (Ephesians 2:19, 1 Peter 1:3 - 6, Romans 8:15).Answer the call of God to repent of sin and believe in Christ. What is the prayer for salvation?Question: "What is the prayer for salvation?"Answer: Many people ask, "Is there a prayer I can say that can give me salvation" When considering this question, it is important to remember that salvation is not received by reciting a prayer or pronouncing certain words. Nowhere in the Bible records to any person receiving salvation through prayer. Saying a prayer is not the biblical way of salvation. The biblical method of salvation is faith in Jesus Christ. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Salvation is obtained by faith (Ephesians 2:8), to receive Jesus as Savior (John 1:12), to fully trust in Jesus alone (John 14:6, Acts 4:12) - not to say a prayer. The biblical message of salvation is simple and clear and at the same time amazing. We have all committed sin against God (Romans 3:23). No one who has lived a lifetime without sinning (Ecclesiastes 7:20). Because of our sin, we all deserve God's judgment (Romans 6:23), and judgment is physical death, spiritual death followed. Because of our sin and its deserved punishment, there is nothing we can do for ourselves to justify us before God. As a result of His love for us, God took human form in the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus lived a perfect life, and always taught the truth. However, humanity rejected Jesus and crucified him gave him death. However, through this terrible fact, Jesus died in our place. Jesus took the load and the judgment of sin upon Himself, and died for us (2 Corinthians 5:21). But after Jesus was resurrected (1 Corinthians chapter 15), certifying that His payment for sin was sufficient, and that He conquered sin and death. As a result of the sacrifice of Jesus, God offers us salvation as a gift. God calls us to change our minds about Jesus (Acts 17:30), and to receive as full payment for our sins (1 John 2:2). Salvation is obtained by receiving the gift that God gives us, not a prayer. Now that does not mean you can not include a prayer to receive salvation. If you understand the Gospel, believe it's true, and you have accepted Jesus as your Savior - is good and appropriate to express this faith in God in prayer. Communicate with God through prayer can be a way forward, the acknowledgment of the truth about Jesus as true, to fully trust Jesus as Savior. Prayer can be related to the fact put your faith in Jesus alone for salvation.Again, however, it is of crucial importance not base your salvation on having to say a prayer. Reciting a prayer can not save you! If you want to receive the salvation that is available through Jesus, put your faith in Him fully confident in His death as the sufficient sacrifice for your sins. He totally and only depends as your Savior. That is the biblical way of salvation. If you've already received Jesus as your Savior, you can of course offer a prayer to God. Tell God what you are thankful for Jesus. Give praise to God for His love and sacrifice. Thank Jesus for dying for your sins and providing salvation for you. That is the biblical relationship between salvation and prayer!Answer the call of God to repent of sin and believe in Christ. What is true religion?Question: "What is true religion?"Answer: Religion can be defined as "the belief in God or gods to be worshiped, usually expressed in conduct and ritual" or "any specific system of belief, worship, etc., often involving a code of ethics.. "More than 90% of the world's population adheres to some form of religion. The problem is that there is too much diversity of religions. What is the correct religion? What is true religion? The two most common ingredients in religions are rules and rituals. Some religions are essentially just a list of rules to do or not do, that a person must observe in order to be considered a faithful adherent of that religion, and therefore, just before the God of that religion. Two examples of rule-based religions are Islam and Judaism. Islam has five pillars that must be observed. Judaism has hundreds of commands and traditions that must be observed. Both religions, to some extent, hold that obeying the rules of religion, a person is considered righteous before God. Other religions focus more on observing rituals instead of obeying a list of rules. By offering this sacrifice, in this role, participating in this service, consuming this meal, etc.., A person is made right with God. The most prominent example of a ritual based religion is Roman Catholicism. Roman Catholicism affirms that being baptized with water in childhood, participating in the Mass, confessing sins to a priest, offering prayers to the saints in heaven, being anointed by a priest before death, etc.., Etc.., God accept such a person in heaven after death. Buddhism and Hinduism are also primarily based on religious rituals, but also can be considered a lesser extent as rule-based.True religion is not based on rules or rituals. True religion is a relationship with God. Two things argue that all religions are, somehow, humanity is separated from God and needs to be reconciled with Him False religions seek to solve this problem by observing rules and rituals. True religion solves the problem by recognizing that only God can restore the separation, and that He has already done. True religion recognizes the following:• We have all sinned and therefore are separated from God (Romans 3:23)• If this is not rectified, the just punishment for sin is death and eternal separation from God after death (Romans 6:23)• God came to us in the Person of Jesus Christ who died in our place, taking the punishment that we all deserve, and rising from the dead to prove that His death was a sufficient sacrifice (Romans 5:8, 1 Corinthians 15:3 - 4; 2 Corinthians 5:21).• If we receive Jesus Christ as Savior, trusting His death as full payment for our sins, we are forgiven, saved, redeemed, reconciled, and justified before God (John 3:16, Romans 10:9-10, Ephesians 2: 8-9).True religion has rules and rituals, but there is a crucial difference. In true religion, rules and rituals are observed by gratitude to God provided salvation - NO in an effort to obtain that salvation. True religion, which is Biblical Christianity, has rules that must be obeyed (not kill, do not commit adultery, not lie, etc..) And rituals to observe (water baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper / Communion of the Lord) . Observance of these rules and rituals is not what makes us a righteous person before God. Rather, these rules and rituals are the RESULT of our relationship with God, by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone as Savior. False religion is to do things (rules and rituals) to try to win God's favor. True religion is to receive Jesus Christ as Savior and thereby gain a right relationship with God - and then do other things (rules and rituals) for the love of God and desire to grow closer to HimHave you made a decision for Christ because of what you have read here? I am a Catholic, why should I consider becoming a Christian?Question: "I am a Catholic, why should I consider becoming a Christian?"Answer: First, please understand we are not trying to offend you in drafting this question. Truly we receive questions from Catholics, such as; "What is the difference between Catholics and Christians?" In face to face conversations with Catholics, have literally heard, "I'm not Christian, I'm Catholic" For many Catholics, the term "Christian" and "Protestant" are synonymous. With the above, the intent of this article is that Catholics study what the Bible says about being a Christian, and perhaps consider that the Catholic faith is not the best representation of what the Bible describes. As a background, please read our article "What is a Christian?"The key difference between Catholics and Christians is the vision we have of the Bible. Catholics view the authority of the Bible at the same level of authority of the Church and tradition. Christians see the Bible as the supreme authority for faith and practice. The question is, how the Bible presents itself? 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says, "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. "Scripture, by itself, is enough for the Christian to be thoroughly equipped for every good work. This text tells us that Scripture is not "just the beginning", or "just the basics" or the "foundation for a more complete church tradition." On the contrary, Scripture is perfect and totally sufficient for all of life Christian. Scripture can teach us, rebuke us, correct us, train, and equip. Biblical Christians do not deny the value of the traditions of the church. Rather, Christians hold that for a church tradition to be valid, must be based on the clear teaching of Scripture, and be consistent with it. Catholic friend, study the Word of God for yourself. In the Word of God you will find the description and God's intention for His church. 2 Timothy 2:15 says, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."A second key difference between Catholics and "Bible Christians" is the understanding of how we can approach God. Catholics tend to approach God through intermediaries, such as Mary or the saints. Christians approach God directly, offering prayers to anyone but God. The Bible proclaims that we can approach the throne of grace of God boldly (Hebrews 4:16). The Bible is perfectly clear that God wants us to pray to Him, that we communicate with Him, to ask Him for the things we need (Philippians 4:6, Matthew 7:7-8, 1 John 5:14-15 ). No need for mediators or brokers, because Christ is our one and only mediator (1 Timothy 2:5), and both Christ and the Holy Spirit are already interceding for us (Romans 8:26-27, Hebrews 7:25 ). Catholic friend, God loves you intimately and has provided an open door for direct communication through Jesus Christ. The crucial difference between Catholics and "Bible Christians" is the theme of salvation. Catholics view salvation almost entirely as a process, while Christians see salvation in two ways; as a state and a process. Catholics see themselves as "being saved," while Christians see themselves as "having been saved". 1 Corinthians 1:2 says, "... to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints ..." The words "sanctified" and "holy" come from the same Greek root. This verse establishes both that Christians are called to be sanctified and holy. The Bible presents salvation as a gift that is received when a person puts their faith in Jesus Christ as Savior (John 3:16). When a person receives Christ as Savior, he / she is justified (declared righteous - (Romans 5:9), redeemed (rescued from the bondage of sin - 1 Peter 1:18), reconciled (achieving peace with God - Romans 5:1), sanctified (set apart for God's purposes - 1 Corinthians 6:11), and reborn as a new creation (1 Peter 1:23;. 2 Corinthians 5:17) Each of these features are fait accompli that they are received at the time of salvation. then Christians are called to live and practice (called saints), which is already a reality, positionally (sanctified). The Catholic view is that salvation is received by faith, but then it must be "maintained" by good works and participation in the sacraments. Biblical Christians do not deny the importance of good works or that Christ calls us to observe the ordinances in remembrance of Him and obedience to Him The difference is that the Christian view is that these things are the result of salvation not a requirement for salvation, or a means of maintaining salvation. Salvation is a complete work, purchased by the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ (1 John 2:2). As a result, all our sins are forgiven and we are promised eternal life in heaven, when we receive the gift that God offers us - salvation through Jesus Christ (John 3:16).Catholic friend, do you want this "so great salvation" (Hebrews 2:6)? If so, all you have to do is receive (John 1:12), through faith (Romans 5:1). God loves us and offers us salvation as a gift (John 3:16). If we receive His grace, by faith, we have salvation and our eternal possession (Ephesians 2:8-9). Once saved, nothing can separate us from His love (Romans 8:38-39). Nothing can pluck us from His hand (John 10:28-29). If you want this salvation, if you want to obtain the forgiveness of all your sins, if you want to be sure of your salvation, if you want direct access to the God who loves you - receive it and it's yours. This is the salvation through Jesus died to give it to us and that God offers as a gift.Have you made a decision for Christ because of what you have read here? Catholic friend Welcome to the Christian life! Why should I not commit suicide?Question: "Why should I not commit suicide?"Answer: My heart goes out to those who have thoughts of ending their own lives through suicide. If that's when you should experience many emotions such as feelings of hopelessness and despair. You may feel like you are in the deepest pit, and certainly there is a glimmer of hope that it can improve. Nobody seems, or care, or understand where you come from. Just live life ... not worth it?Debilitating emotions are experienced by many, at one time or another. When I was in an emotional hole, came to mind questions like, "Could you ever be the will of God who created me?" "God is too small to help me?" "Are my problems too big for him?"I am pleased to tell you that if you take a few minutes to consider letting God truly be God in your life right now, He will prove precisely how great He is indeed! "For nothing is impossible with God" (Luke 1:37). Perhaps scars from past hurts have resulted in an overwhelming sense of rejection or abandonment. That can lead to thoughts or ways of self-pity, anger, bitterness, revenge, morbid fears, etc.., That has caused problems in some of their most important relationships. However, suicide would only serve to bring devastation to loved ones who have never tried to hurt; emotional scars you will have to try the rest of their lives. Why should I not commit suicide? Friend, no matter how bad things are in your life, there is a God of love who is waiting for you, to enable you to guide you through your tunnel of despair, and lead into His marvelous light. He is your sure hope. His name is Jesus. This Jesus, the sinless Son of God, identifies with you in your time of rejection and humiliation. The prophet Isaiah wrote of Him, "He shall grow up before him, and as a root out of dry ground; He hath no form nor comeliness; we shall see, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows he; and we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes (whip) we are healed. All we like sheep has turned to his own way; Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all "(Isaiah 53:2-6).Friend, Jesus Christ endured all this so that their sins could be forgiven! Know that any weight of guilt that you bear, He will forgive, if we humbly repent (turn from your sins to God). "Call upon me in the day of trouble; deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me (Psalm 50:15). Nothing ever done is too bad that Jesus would forgive. Some of His chosen servants in the Bible committed gross sins like murder (Moses), adultery (King David), and physical and emotional abuse (Apostle Paul). However, they found forgiveness and a new abundant life in the Lord. "Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin" (Psalm 51:2). "Therefore if anyone is in Christ is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, all things are become new "(2 Corinthians 5:17).Why should I not commit suicide? Friend, God stands ready to repair what is "broken" ... particularly, the life you have now, you want to end it with suicide. The prophet Isaiah wrote: "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison inmates; to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; to order the Bereaved glory ... they (the crown of beauty) for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord for His glory "(Isaiah 61:1-3).Come to Jesus and let Him restore your joy and comfort, while trust Him to begin a new work in your life. "Restore to me the joy of thy salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit," "Lord, open my lips, and my mouth shall declare your praise. You do not desire sacrifice, or I would bring it; do not want a burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a contrite heart you will not despise, O God "(Psalm 51:12, 15-17).Would you accept the Lord as your Savior and Shepherd? He will guide your thoughts and steps, one day at a time, through His Word, the Bible. "You will understand, and teach you the way you should go; I will guide my eyes "(Psalm 32:8). "And there shall thy times wisdom and knowledge, and strength of salvation; the fear of the Lord is his treasure "(Isaiah 33:6). In Christ you will still have struggles, but now it will have HOPE. He is "a friend who sticks closer than a brother" (Proverbs 18:24). The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you in your time of decision. If you decide to trust Jesus Christ as Savior, God says these words in her heart. "God, I need you in my life. Please forgive me for everything I've done. I put my faith in Jesus Christ and believe that He is my Savior. Please cleanse me, heal me, and restore my joy in life. Thank You for Your love for me and for the death of Jesus in my place. "Have you made a decision for Christ because of what you have read here? Why did not I go to hell?Question: "Why did not I go to hell?"Answer: go to hell is easier than you think. Some people believe they have to obey the Ten Commandments lifetime to not go to hell. Some people believe that they must observe certain rites and rituals to avoid going to hell. Some people believe there is no way we can know for sure whether or not we will go to hell. None of these views is correct. The Bible is very clear on how a person can avoid going to hell after death. The Bible describes hell as a terrifying and horrible place. Hell is described as "everlasting fire" (Matthew 25:41), "unquenchable fire" (Matthew 3:12), "shame and everlasting contempt" (Daniel 12:2), a place where "the fire quenched "(Mark 9:44-49), and" everlasting destruction "(2 Thessalonians 1:9). Revelation 20:10 describes hell as a "lake of fire and brimstone" where the wicked are "tormented day and night forever and ever" (Revelation 20:10). Obviously, hell is a place to avoid. Why is there even hell and why God sends people there? The Bible tells us that God "prepared" hell for the devil and the fallen angels after their rebellion against Him (Matthew 25:41). Those who reject God's offer of forgiveness will suffer the same eternal destiny of the devil and the fallen angels. Why is hell necessary? All sin is ultimately against God (Psalm 51:4), and since God is an infinite and eternal, only an infinite and eternal penalty is sufficient. Hell is where the demands of the holy and righteous justice of God are held. Hell is where God condemns sin and all those who reject Him The Bible makes it clear that all have sinned (Ecclesiastes 7:20, Romans 3:10-23), so as a result, we all deserve to go to hell.So how we will not go to hell? Since only an infinite and eternal penalty is sufficient, an infinite and eternal price must be paid. God became a human being in the person of Jesus Christ. In Jesus Christ, God lived among us, taught us and healed us, but these things were not His ultimate mission. God man (John 1:1,14) so he could die for us. Jesus, God in human form, died on the cross. As God, His death was infinite and eternal in value, paying full price for sin (1 John 2:2). God invites us to receive Jesus Christ as Savior, accepting His death as full payment for our sins and fair. God promises that all who believe in Jesus (John 3:16), trusting Him alone as Savior (John 14:6), will be saved, ie not go to hell.God does not want anyone to go to hell (2 Peter 3:9). So God made the ultimate, perfect, and sufficient sacrifice on our behalf. If you do not want to go to hell, receive Jesus as your Savior. It's as simple as that. Tell God that you recognize you are a sinner and deserve to go to hell. Declares God you are trusting in Jesus Christ as your Savior. Thank God for providing for your salvation and deliverance from hell. The simple faith, trusting in Jesus Christ as Savior, is how you can avoid going to hell!Have you made a decision for Christ because of what you have read here? Go to Heaven - What I can guarantee my eternal destination?Question: "Go to Heaven - What I can guarantee my eternal destiny?"Answer: Face it. The day each of us will spend eternity may come sooner than we think. In preparation for that time, we need to know this truth - not everyone is going to heaven. How can we know for sure that we are one of those who will spend eternity in heaven? About 2,000 years ago, Peter and John were preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to a large crowd in Jerusalem. It was then that Peter made a profound statement that still resonates in our post-modern world: "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved" (Acts 4:12) .As it was back then, today in an environment that says "all roads lead to heaven," this is not a politically correct message. There are many who think they can have heaven without Jesus. They want the good promises of glory, but do not want to consider the cross, let alone one who died there hanging for the sins of all who believe in him. many do not want to accept Jesus as the only way and are determined find another way. But Jesus himself warns us that there is no other way and the consequences of not accepting this truth is an eternity in hell. He has clearly told us that "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever believeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him "(John 3:36).Some will say that God is extremely shortsighted to provide one way to heaven. But frankly, given the rebellious rejection of God by humanity, His provision of any way to heaven is extremely broad and generous. What we deserve is judgment, and instead, God gives us a way to escape by sending His only Son to die for our sins. If anyone believes this is narrow or wide, is the truth, and Christians need to keep clear and uncorrupted message that the only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ. Many people have believed that just dilute the gospel message of repentance of their sins. They want to believe in a loving God who does not judge anyone, requires no repentance and no change in their lifestyle. They may say things like: "I believe in Jesus Christ, but my God is not critical My God would never send a person to hell.." But we can not have both. If we profess to be Christians, we must recognize Christ for who He claimed to be - the only way to heaven. To deny that is to deny Jesus Himself, because it was He who said:. "I am the way and the truth and the life No one comes to the Father but by me" (John 14:6).The question remains: who will enter the kingdom of God? How I can guarantee my eternal destination? The answer to these questions is clearly seen in the distinction between those who have eternal life and not have it. "He who has the Son has life: he that hath not the Son of God hath not life" (1 John 5:12). Those who believe in Christ, who have accepted His sacrifice as payment for their sins, and obediently follow, will spend eternity in heaven. Those who refuse will not. "Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God" (John 3:18).As impressive as will be heaven for those who choose Jesus Christ as Savior, hell will be far more terrible to those who reject it. Our message to the lost would be delivered with more urgency if we understood what the holiness and justice of God will do to those who have rejected the broad provision of forgiveness in His Son, Jesus Christ. One can not read the Bible seriously without seeing it again and again - the line is drawn. The Bible is very clear that there is only one way to heaven - through Jesus Christ. He has given us this warning: "Enter by the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate and narrow the road that leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it "(Matthew 7:13-14).There is only one way to heaven and those who follow this path are guaranteed to get there. But not everyone is following that path. And you?Have you made a decision for Christ because of what you have read here? If so, please tell us that you have accepted Christ today.
What does it mean that Jesus saves?Question: "What does it mean that Jesus saves?"Answer: "Jesus saves" is a popular slogan written on stickers, signs at athletic events, and even banners that are pulled across the sky by small airplanes. Sadly, few of them that see the phrase "Jesus saves" truly and fully understand what it means. There is a tremendous amount of power and truth contained in these two words.Jesus saves, but who Jesus is?Most people know that Jesus was a man who lived in Israel about 2000 years ago. Virtually every religion in the world sees Jesus as a good teacher and / or prophet. And while those things are completely certain of Jesus, they do not grasp what Jesus really is, or explain how or why Jesus saves. Jesus is God in human form (John 1:1, 14). Jesus being God, came to earth as a real human being (1 John 4:2). God took the form of a human being in the person of Jesus in order to save. This leads to the following question: Why do we need to be saved?Jesus saves, but why we need to be saved? The Bible declares that every human being who has ever lived has sinned (Ecclesiastes 7:20, Romans 3:23). To sin is to do something in thought, word or deed, contradicts the perfect and holy character of God. Because of our sin, we all deserve God's judgment (John 3:18, 36). God is perfectly just, so He can not allow sin and evil go unpunished. Since God is eternal and infinite, and since all sin is ultimately against God (Psalm 51:4), only an eternal and infinite punishment is applicable. Eternal death is the only just punishment for sin. It is for this reason that we need to be saved.Jesus saves, but how do you save? For we have sinned against an infinite God, there are only two options: (1) a finite person (us) must pay for our sins for an infinite amount of time; or. (2) an infinite Person (Jesus) must pay for our sins once. There is no other option. Jesus saves us dying in our place. In the person of Jesus Christ, God sacrificed Himself for us, paying the infinite and eternal penalty only He could pay (2 Corinthians 5:21, 1 John 2:2). Jesus took the punishment that we deserve, to save us from a horrible eternal destiny, the just consequence for our sin. On His great love for us, Jesus laid down His life (John 15:13), paying the penalty that we deserved, but we could not afford. Jesus was then resurrected, demonstrating that His death really was enough to pay the penalty for our sins (1 Corinthians 15).Jesus saves, but who saves him?Jesus saves all who receive His gift of salvation. Jesus saves all those who rely wholly and only in His sacrifice as payment for sin (John 3:16, Acts 16:31). While Jesus' sacrifice was perfectly sufficient to pay for the sins of all humanity, Jesus only saves those who personally receive His most precious gift (John 1:12).If you understand now what it means that Jesus saves, and you want to trust in Him as your personal Savior, be sure to understand and believe the following, and as an act of faith, God communicates the following. "God, I know I am a sinner, and I know my sin, I deserve to be eternally separated from you. Thank you for loving me and providing the sacrifice for my sins through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, though I do not deserve. I believe Jesus died for my sins and trust in Him alone to save me. From now on, help me to live my life for you, rather than to sin. Help me to live the rest of my life in gratitude for the wonderful salvation that you have prepared. Thank you Jesus for saving me! In Your name, Amen.Have you made a decision for Christ because of what you have read here? If so, please tell us that you have accepted Christ today.
How I can be saved?Question: "How I can be saved?"Answer:. This simple but profound question, is the most important question to do? "How can I be saved" is where we will spend eternity after finishing our lives in this world. There is no more important issue that our eternal destiny. Fortunately, the Bible is very clear on how a person can be saved. The Philippian jailer asked Paul and Silas, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" (Acts 16:30). Paul and Silas replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved." (Acts 16:31)How I can be saved? Why do I have to be saved? We are all infected with sin (Romans 3:23). We are born with sin (Psalm 51:5), and personally choose to sin (Ecclesiastes 7:20, 1 John 1:8). Sin is what makes us "unsaved." Sin is what separates us from God. Sin is what keeps us on the path to eternal destruction. How I can be saved? Saved from what?Because of our sin, we all deserve death (Romans 6:23). While the physical consequence of sin is physical death, this is not the only kind of death that results from sin. All sin is ultimately against an eternal and infinite God (Psalm 51:4). Because of this, the just penalty for our sin is eternal and infinite. What do we need to be saved is eternal destruction (Matthew 25:46, Revelation 20:15).How I can be saved? How God provided salvation? As the just penalty for sin is infinite and eternal, only God could pay the penalty, for He alone is infinite and eternal. But God, in His divine nature, could not die. Then God became man in the person of Jesus Christ. God took upon Himself human flesh, lived among us and taught us. When people rejected Him and His message, and tried to kill him, goodwill He sacrificed for us, allowing himself to be crucified (John 10:15). As Jesus was human, He could die; and that Jesus Christ was God, His death was an eternal and infinite value. Jesus' death on the cross was the perfect and complete payment for our sin (1 John 2:2). He took the consequences that we deserved. Jesus' resurrection from the dead proved that His death was indeed quite sufficient sacrifice for sin.How I can be saved? What should I do?"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved" (Acts 16:31). God has already done all the work. All you have to do is receive by faith the salvation that God offers you (Ephesians 2:8-9). Trust in Jesus alone as full payment for your sins. Believe in Him and shall not perish (John 3:16). Sure you understand salvation.1 John 5:13 says, "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may know that ye have eternal life." God wants us to understand salvation. God wants us to have the confidence of knowing for sure that we are saved. Let's briefly the key points of salvation:(A) All have sinned. We've all done things that are displeasing to God (Romans 3:23).(B) deserve to be punished with eternal separation from God because of our sin (Romans 6:23).(C) Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins (Romans 5:8, 2 Corinthians 5:21).(D) God grants forgiveness and salvation to all those who put their faith in Jesus - trusting His death as payment for our sins (John 3:16, Romans 5:1, Romans 8:1).That's the message of salvation! If you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ as Savior, you are saved! All your sins are forgiven, and God promises to never leave you or forsake you (Romans 8:38-39, Matthew 28:20). Remember, your salvation is secure in Jesus Christ (John 10:28-29). If you trust in Jesus alone as your Savior, you can be confident that you will spend eternity with God in heaven!2. Find a good church that teaches the Bible.Do not think of the church as a building. The church is the people. It is very important that believers in Jesus Christ have fellowship with one another. That's one of the main purposes of the church. Now that you have put your faith in Jesus Christ, we strongly encourage you to find on your sector, Bible believing church. Talk to your pastor. Let him know about your new faith in Christ.A second purpose of the church is to teach the Bible. You can learn how to apply the teachings of God in your life. Understanding the Bible is the key to living a successful and powerful Christian life. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says, "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good play. "A third purpose of the church is worship. Worship is to thank God for all that He has done! God has saved us. God loves us. God is our provider. God guides us and directs us. How can we not thank? God is holy, just, loving, merciful, and gracious. Revelation 4:11 says, "Lord, You are worthy to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. "3. Besides time each day to focus on God.It is very important for us every day, spend time focusing on God. Some people call this a "time-out." Others call it "quiet time," because this is a time when we devote ourselves to God. Some prefer aside time in the morning, while others prefer the sunset. No matter how you call this time or when you do. What matters is that you regularly spend time with God. What events make up our time with God?(A) Prayer -. Prayer is simply talking to God. Talk to God about your concerns and problems. Ask God to give you wisdom and guidance. Ask God to provide their needs. Tell God how much you love and how much you appreciate everything she does for you. That's what prayer is.(B) Scripture Reading -. Besides receiving Biblical teaching in church, Sunday School, and / or Bible studies - you need to read the Bible for yourself. The Bible contains everything you need to know in order to live a successful Christian life. The Bible contains God's guidance to make wise decisions, how to know the will of God, ministering to others, and how to grow spiritually. The Bible is essentially the teaching of God manual for how to live our lives in a way to please the Lord and be satisfied.4. Develop relationships with people who can help spiritually.1 Corinthians 15:33 tells us, "Be not deceived; evil communications corrupt good manners. "The Bible is full of warnings about the influence of" bad "people can have on us. Spending time with those who engage in sinful activities, it will cause us to be tempted by those activities. The character of those around us will "stick" in us. For that reason it is so important to surround ourselves with other people who love the Lord and are committed to HimTry to find a friend or two, perhaps your church, someone who can help him and encourage him (Hebrews 3:13, 10:24). Ask friends to keep you accountable regarding your time alone, their activities, and their walk with God. Ask if you can do the same for them. This does not mean you have to abandon all your friends who do not know Jesus as their Savior. Continue to be their friend and love them. Just let them know that Jesus has changed your life, and you can not do all the same things you used to do. Ask God to give you opportunities to share Jesus with their friends.5. Baptized. Many people misunderstand baptism. The word "baptize" means to immerse in water. Baptism is the biblical way to publicly proclaim his new faith in Christ and their commitment to follow. The action of being immersed in water illustrates being buried with Christ. The action out of the water pictures Christ's resurrection. Baptized is identifying with the death, burial and resurrection (Romans 6:3-4).Baptism is not what saves you. Baptism does not take away their sins. Baptism is simply a step of obedience, a public proclamation of their faith in Christ alone for salvation. Baptism is important because it is a step of obedience - publicly declaring faith in Christ and commitment to Him If you are ready to be baptized, must speak with a pastor.
