The Problem

The Problem is we want to do what is right in our own eyes. We all are going about our own business. We don’t have enough time to do somethings- as a matter of fact we seem never to have enoungh time to even observe what is going on around us because so many things are vying for our attention. We are as it were being pulled in all directions. the vying for our attention included: Money or the lack of it; our jobs or lack there-of; our family or friends or lack there-of; boyfriend and girlfriend or lack there-of. So many things vying for your attention. The internet, your cellphone, your cable, Spotify, whatsapp, instagram, that dance-hall session that new trend or fashion, and it’s really hard to cope with what is going on in this world; and when you thought that that was it here comes the monster called crime and violence- with the scamming and the Killing; diseases with all kinds strains and variants and with all that said some you as still wondering where next meal is coming from. It really seems as if there is only one way to look at this world because life doesn’t seem fair. some of you may be asking yourselves what is the purpose of my life, is it worthwhile living? why do we have to suffer so much? if my life of any value to anyone? Well throughout this series of meeting i want to share with you a new perspective; your life means more than you think it does; it is of greater value than you can ever imaging, and there is a purpose for your existence.
This woman of Samaria approached, and she seemed to be unconscious of Jesus presence; Now according the text Jesus would have gotten to this place before this Samaritan woman, it was about noon and Jesus was tired, hot, and thirsty. Now it was not usual at this time of the day for someone-normaly a woman to be fetching water, because it was hot. People normaly fetched water from the well either in the morning hours or in the evening. This was noon and hences the water level would be low and no one else would be there or maybe that was intentional. Maybe she wanted to avoid the crowd; maybe she had a lot of things on her mind you know care this life the stress that bombards us everyday you’ve been there before haven’t you? You made some mistakes in your life. Well her life was a mess she was in and out of marriages and now she had some elses husband. You get it now don’t you? this un-named Samaritan woman was fed up with the gossipers and the hippocrates and church people; you see they don’t know what she has been through and the struggle that she had to face in life. they don’t know the oppression that faced in her community; she may have even been fed up with her own life, her perspective on life was dark, she needed a fresh perspective.

The Solution

So here comes Jesus and by the way Jesus has a way of showing when you need the most. Don’t you dare try to hide what’s going on inside your heart. Jesus is all knowing He’s Omniscient. the Bible says In Job 36:4 we read that God is perfect in knowledge (see also Job 37:16). The writer of Hebrews concurs (Heb. 4:13 , NIV), “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account” (see also Acts 15:18).
John S. Feinberg, No One Like Him: The Doctrine of God, The Foundations of Evangelical Theology (Wheaton, IL: Crossway Books, 2001), 299.
Jesus is Alpha and Omega according Rev. 1:8 Jesus knows the end from the beginning because He is both the beginning and the end. So here comes Jesus weary and thirsty soul He has been seeking and waiting for you to recognize that He is here He has always been here. This Samaritan woman thought that the waters of Jacobs well to could satisfy her thirsty soul but she needed a spring. Jesus asked to give Him some of her water this amazing Jesus who made the fountains of water was asking this woman for well water; she found it strange that He asked her water because of who she thought He was, and it was worst because she knew who she was. You she though Jesus was just a man, but He was more than just a Man, She was a woman and not just a woman she was a messed up woman. She thought Jesus was Just a Jew but He was not just a Jew, she was a Samiritan woman and she knew that Jews and Samaritan don’t mix they don’t get along they are as far as the east is from the west to each other, and this Jewish Man she thought was asking her for water; so like the Samaritan woman that she knew she was simply asked why? we all know who we are, and if we are honest enough to admit we are all messed up but Jesus is not looking at how messed we are He was there waiting all this time to have a little talk with so you could tell all about your struggle, and He would hear your faintest cry and answer by and by And when you feel a little prayer wheel turnin' And you will know a little fire is burnin' Find a little talk with Jesus makes it right. What a God, Jesus not only knew who she was, He also knows who He is John 8:14 “Jesus answered and said to them, “Even if I testify about Myself, My testimony is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going; but you do not know where I come from or where I am going.” John 10:14 ““I am the good shepherd, and I know My own and My own know Me,” Joh 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. Joh 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. Joh 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. I am your helper, I am your shelter, I am your keeper, I am you sustainer, I am your provider, I am your father, I am your lover. I am your song when there is no song to sing; I am your hope when you feel hopeless I am your companion when you feel lonely; I am your comfort, when there seems to be no comfort. I am

The Transformation

So here is a Fresh perspective; worshipping God implies more than going to a place of worship, giving tithe and offerings, or sending up a prayer. to worship the Creator of our life is to pour out our whole being before Him. Worshiping in spirit and in truth is centered on Christ, not formalism. In other words it’s not just Church going.
true worship includes a life surrender and obedience to God.
Appeal:
God is seeking people who would devote their lives to Him. He wants to make us into better persons for Him, He can change your life if you’ll let Him. Will you take up the offer tonight. He can do all things.
