9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. 10 So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.

It’s not about how you start a race, but how you finish
It’s not about how you start life, but finish it
It’s not about how you start your faith, but you finish
Too many times in christianity we look for a major experience when faith is about the journey
Little steps everyday out does one big leap
Little by little, Step by step
Too often when we see momentum build in our life we think it’s the time to let off the gas and coast, but momentum isn’t for taking it easy, but to build towards something you couldn’t do before
The enemy of momentum is just as much prospering as it is conflict
To quote a Batman villain “Victory has defeated you”
Breakthrough happens at the place of biggest tension
We always try to avoid tension or conflict when that is often the key to our success

Application
All God asks from us is to be faithful
Talents, skills, knowledge and experiences are good, but no substitute for faithfulness
Obedience is more important than sacrifice
Many of those we see as gifted are actually just gifted with persistence
God isn’t impressed with our “gift” if we are being unfaithful
Your girlfriend is impressed with the jewelry you get her if you’re sleeping around

Will you remain resolute in your faith?
