In the Beginning God (Part 2)

Genesis 1:31-2:4

If you could have witnessed any event in Bible history, which event would you choose?

The crucifixion of Christ.

The resurrection of Christ.

The Flood.

Israel crossing the Red Sea.

David taking out Goliath.

I would have like to witness when God finished His creation. And to hear Him say, “That’s Very Good.” It must have been an awesome sight. God, Amen Himself.

Genesis 1:31-2:4

Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good!

And evening passed and morning came, marking the sixth day.

So, the creation of the heavens and the earth and everything in them was completed.

On the seventh day God had finished his work of creation, so he rested from all his work.

And God blessed the seventh day and declared it holy, because it was the day when he rested from all his work of creation.

This is the account of the creation of the heavens and the earth.

Genesis 2 introduces us to a series of "firsts.”
