Colossians 1:15-23

The Son

who is the image of the invisible God

who is the firstborn over all creation

by whom all things were created

in heaven and on earth

visible and invisible

thrones, dominions, principalities, powers

all through and for Him

who is before all

in whom all things consist

who is the head of the body/church

who is the beginning

who is the firstborn from the dead

(all) that in all things He may have preeminence

for it pleased the Father

in Him the fullness should dwell

by Him reconcile all things to Himself

on earth or in heaven

having peace through the blood of His cross

you who were once alienated and enemies

in mind

by wicked works

He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death

to present you

holy

blameless

above reproach

(in His sight)

if you continue in the faith

grounded and steadfast

if you are not moved away from the hope of the gospel

which you heard

which was preached to every creature under heaven

of which I became a minister
