some have suggested that chs. 5 and 6 have somehow been displaced: ch. 5 should be set between chs. 6 and 7. This is only a marginal geographic ‘improvement’: there would still be a leap from the end of ch. 5 (set in Jerusalem) to the beginning of ch. 7 (set in Galilee).
