Heaven ‘Better By Far’ Php.1:23

‘For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is very far better:’ rv.

What is Heaven Like?

1. Prepared Place John 14:1-3

‘In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you

2. Promised Place Luke 23:43

‘Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise’.

3. Permanent Place of Residence 2 Cor.5:8

‘We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present(stay at home) with the Lord’.

4. Praying Place (Dependent) Rev.6:10

‘They cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? ‘

5. Pure or Pleasant Place 2Cor.12:4

‘How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.‘ (only here n.t)(not possible)

6. Painless Place Rev.21

‘And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.’
