Problems that Wreck a Marriage:
ADVANCE \d4Romans 15:14 (KJV) 14 And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another. The word admonish means to teach, to instruct, to encourage, and he is writing to these Godly Christians at the church of Rome and says I am persuaded you are full of goodness. You are full of that which is right and holy and your filled with knowledge. There is a certain amount of biblical truth that you have to know, there is a certain amount of knowledge of life that you have to have. Your filled with knowledge and are able to admonish one another. You are able to help each other.
Everybody is a counselor, I mean everybody, the people across the street, the people that are home this morning, the people that are down in town.
The question is not if you are a counselor but when are you a counselor. And what kind of counsel do you give? Because a lot of people that give counsel dont even know they are giving counsel. You ever heard well if that happened to me I would...whatever is said after that is counsel.
Now a group of Godly Christians if they stay in the word of God and stay close to God will be able to counsel others.
ADVANCE \d4Proverbs 22:3 (KJV) 3 A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.
ADVANCE \d4Proverbs 27:12 (KJV) 12 A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished.
The meaning is a prudent man sees evil coming and he tries to hide himself from it.
But there is an application a prudent man (a man that is exercised or used in the use of wisdom, and understands wisdom.) Could also see what is about to come for someone else.
Evil there could mean sin, or that which is bad or unpleasant. That which would give pain, that which would bring unhappiness and misery to life.
