Bendediction
Hebrews 12:1-2 “1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Endurance - To stand firm, consistency, perseverance
1 Peter 1:3-9 “3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, 7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, 8 whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, 9 receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls.”
Momma, “A Cloud Witness” endured the trials, the struggles and was never detracted from giving God The Glory!
Paul says; Romans 5:3-5 “3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”
Regardless of the state you find yourself in, God is still in control, He still Reigns forever more and because you believe in His Son, everlasting Life Is Yours!
Looking Unto - To be fixated with an expectation of greater
Yes we have many surrounding us where God has manifest His Miracles daily - As the Bible says, God Daily Loads Us with His Benefits! Therefore, we have every right to look to Him with an expectancy of greater because He said we can!
In order to endure as Momma did, we must believe that He can do all things, and not make it so complicated that we depress ourselves and cause us to believe that this is the end!
Death is not the end for the believer! Death literally means separation, not annihilation - I may not have the physical being here, and it does hurt, but I refuse to let death, nor life, nor things above, or things beneath, to separate me from knowing how much God Loves me!
And He Loves me so that He gave His Only begotten Son, and because I believe in Him! I Have Life!
Believers Have Life Abundantly!
Jesus did not come for us to die, He came so that we can live!
John 5:24 “24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.”
John 10:28 “28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.”
Perish means to fade away slowly - Because you believe, you do not fade you are established and nothing can move you!
