Psalm 30:1 KJV 1900

1 I will extol thee, O Lord; for thou hast lifted me up, And hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.

“extol” - to elevate someone

this interpretation tells us that since God has lifted us up, we should be lifting Him up

it’s only right that we do this, He very much deserves all the honor that we can bestow on Him

He’s not only all powerful, but He’s all loving and all holy as well

(part B) - this tells us that God was with David, and we know He’s with us as believers

What a privilege it is to have God on our sides, if He is with us, who can be against us?

what a powerful thought this is coming from an all loving and all powerful God

there are 6 billion people in the world today just right now

imagine all the people that existed over time

God is sovereign over each and every one of these people, yet He cares about us as a fallen individual, it’s amazing
