Our inward transformation produces our outer saltiness but it is a pleasant taste!
Luke 19:39–40 ESV
And some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples.” He answered, “I tell you, if these were silent, the very stones would cry out.”
This scripture has been use in a way to make a person feel as if we don’t praise him… God will use someone else to do it…
If we don’t work for God… God will use someone else to work for Him.
But..... this scripture has nothing to do with that.
Jesus was fulfilling the prophecy mentioned in Zechariah
The king who is humble will be mounted on a donkey, on a colt!
The whole multitude of his disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud for voice for all the mighty works that they had seen…
The were saying blessed is the King who come in the name of the Lord
Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!
And because of these statements, The Pharisees were upset!

The Pharisees understood the meaning of what was going on, for they told Jesus to rebuke His followers, so they would stop calling him Messiah or King.

Jesus responded that there must be some proclamation that He is the Messiah. If not, even inanimate objects (stones) would be called on to testify for Him. All history had pointed toward this single, spectacular event when the Messiah publicly presented Himself to the nation, and God desired that this fact be acknowledged.

This was a historical event

Why do you care about Him?
to care (feel) v. — to feel concern or interest.

Yet you have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor.
You have given him dominion over the works of your hands…
Not only does He love us…

2 Corinthians 3:17 ESV
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
Freedom: liberty n. — personal freedom from servitude, confinement, or oppression.
God is working through me…
God is using me to share about this liberty that I have to my neighbor
David said…
Psalm 34:8 ESV
Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!
Taste: to determine ⇔ taste v. — to find out, conceived of as tasting something.
Blessed adj. — characterized by happiness and being highly favored (as by divine grace).
Because I walk in the Blessedness…
Because I am totally dependent on Him...
People taste the saltiness
How do you taste and see that the Lord is good?
You don’t understand that people will determine that God is good through you...
BecauseHe is so good to me!
I can’t help myself!
