Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
NO DISCIPLESHIP WILL HAPPEN IF THERE IS NO RELATIONSHIP
Lets look at Paul and Timothy
Paul wanted Timothy to go with him; so he took him and circumcised him because of the Jews who were in those places, since they all knew that his father was a Greek. As they traveled through the towns, they delivered the decisions reached by the apostles and elders at Jerusalem for the people to observe. So the churches were strengthened in the faith and grew daily in numbers.
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the command of God our Savior and of Christ Jesus our hope:
To Timothy, my true son in the faith.
Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
PAUL took Timothy under his wing to disciple him.
Can you so the type of relationship they had. “my true son in the faith.”
Paul didn’t just tell Timothy what he should do he showed him.
We build relationship through Fellowship in order to disciple those in need of discipleship.
