Heavenly Father, You are the All-Wise All-knowing God.
You know the beginning and the ending.
I look to You because I am prone to think that I know the way I should go (Prov 14:12) and I believe I am right in those choices (Prov.
12:15).
So I ask You to help me to deny myself (Lk 9:23).
Then You can instruct me and teach me the way I should go (Psalm 32:8).
Direct my steps as a father, husband, pastor, professor, friend, and son according to Your Word (Ps 119:133).
You said that a righteous man’s steps are directed by You (Ps 37:23).
Therefore, help me to trust You with my whole heart and stop leaning to my understand.
Help me to in all my ways acknowledge You so You can direct my steps.
In Christ I ask.
Amen!
