There is No Male and Female G A L AT IA NS 3 :28 Two weeks ago, we learned… • This verse teaches our equality in Christ • This verse is not obliterating or eradicating every distinction in our world (namely race, social standing, or sex) • Paul is not erasing these distinctions. They simply are not barriers to our Christian fellowship. To put it another way… • Paul does teach an equality between the sexes in these ways: • Both are held prisoners under the law (3:23) • Both are justified by faith (3:24) • Both are set free from the bonds of the law (3:25) • Both are sons of God in Christ (3:26) • Both are clothed in Christ (3:27) • And both belong to Christ as heirs (3:29) 2 Timothy 2:15 DO YOUR BEST TO PRESENT YOURSELF TO GOD AS ONE APPROVED, A WORKER WHO HAS NO NEED TO BE ASHAMED, RIGHTLY HANDLING THE WORD OF TRUTH.
