I. A Better Blood Part 2 vs. 13-14

A. Jesus’ blood is better than that of animals as already stated.
B. The eternal God offered up Himself. So that His body would die, but He would live on.
C. He did this to save us from sins, His wrath, and cleanse us from dead works, so that we will serve the living God!

II. A Better Death vs. 15-17

A. Since a death has to take place for you to get an inheritance, Jesus is the better mediator for the New/better covenant. Moses didn’t die for the Israelites.
B. The word covenant here means will. If you have a will, then the only way to receive your inheritance is for the benefactor to die.
C. Jesus our benefactor died, and rose again.

III. A Better Promise vs. 18-22

A. The Old Covenant/promise was inaugurated with inferior blood.
B. That blood was to show that without death forgiveness of sin could not happen.
C. Because of superior blood being shed, the sacrifice is done once and for all.
