Do we really understand how much God has done for us ?
Think about that question…do you think that if we really understood what God did for us, we would be living the way we do ?
In the chapters before Paul gives us the details of what God has done for us by His grace… and then He then encourages us to live rightly because of what God has done.

The walk of the believer
Paul gives Characteristics in Ephesians 4:1-3 on how a believer should walk.
He uses examples of being humble and kind.
We don’t always have to have our way or be pushy with the things that we want.
Romans 12:16 He says we should patient forgiving people in love.
If we go back up to the question I asked.
How could we think not to be humble, kind, patient, forgiving and loving tp others, after all that he did for us.
Luke 6: 35-36 Keeping this unity
We should be eager ( endeavoring) to KEEP this unity.
Jesus created this unity between believers so we should want to keep it
Ephesians 4:3 Unity of everything under the messiah.
Gods purpose was to unify all things in heaven and in earth under Christ.
Ephesians 1:10 If we are going to preserve the “unity of the Spirit,” we must possess the necessary Christian graces Walking in unity
Could you imagine if a body had more than one heart or more than one head ?
It would be monstrous.
If as a Christian we aren’t walking in unity as ONE you can see how it could bring many problems with the church.
We have unity because of what we share in common.
Ephesians 4:4 The church is a big family and has several different people but Paul emphasizes that we are ONE.
One body that is unified by one spirit.
We have one Lord with one faith.
We have one baptism and we believe in one God.
Ephesians 4:6 “6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”
