How to Pray.

1. Honor his name. vs, 9.

A, we give him the respect He deserves, vs 9.

2. We pray for his will. Vs, 10-12.

A, We ask for what he wants.

B, This shows that we are making his desires our desires. vs, 9.

C, we ask for what we need not what we want.

D, And we ask for the ability to show the forgiveness we have been given to others.

3. We ask for strength to resist temptation. Vs, 13.

A, We ask that the Lord would deliver us from our adversary (the Devil) and from our temptation .
