 Why it is valuable to look at the geography/archeology 1) The land is holy, sacred, special 2) The geography and our use of it has impacted and told some of the story of God's dealing with His people Purposes: 1) I want to look at some of the locations for the stories told about Jesus' life and work to see how a deeper understanding of them gives us a deeper understanding of the stories and teachings 2) I want to look at how they help reveal the character of God 3) I want to look at how those characteristics are developed in us 4) I want to help us move beyond converts to disciples and beyond disciples to followers. What does it mean to be proud?
