Isaiah 59:9–20 (ESV)
Therefore far is Mishpat from us and righteousness does not overtake us;
We waited expectantly for light, but in heavy cloud we drive forward
We reach out as the blind for a wall, and like those with no eyes we reach out
we stumble in the noonday like an owl, in the afternoon as the dead
We make a noise like a bear, all of us, and like a dove we mutter and moan
We wait expectantly for Mishpat and there is non, for Salvation (Yeshua) is far from us
For mana re out transgressions against you; Our sins answer against us
For our transgressions are with us, and our guilts we know
Our transgression and lies/deceptions are against YouAnd we are continually turning back from going after our God.
A word of oppression and apostasy, conceiving and conceiving from the hear words of deception.
And we are moving away from going after Mishpat, and unrighteousness stand far remote from us
For truth stumbles in the open square, and straightness does not even come up.
And truth becomes lacking and the one who passes by from evil is plundered.
And Yahweh saw and knows that it is wickedness from His own eyes, that there is no Mishpat
He saw that there was no man,
and wondered that there was no one to intercede;
then his own arm brought him salvation,
and his righteousness upheld him.
He put on righteousness as a breastplate,
and a helmet of salvation on his head;
he put on garments of vengeance for clothing,
and wrapped himself in zeal as a cloak.
According to their deeds, so will he repay,
wrath to his adversaries, repayment to his enemies;
to the coastlands he will render repayment.
So they shall fear the name of the Lord from the west,
and his glory from the rising of the sun;
for he will come like a rushing stream,
which the wind of the Lord drives.
“And a Redeemer will come to Zion,
to those in Jacob who turn from transgression,” declares the Lord.
