What is prayer?

Psalm 62:8 ESV
Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. Selah
Prayer is the way you walk by the spirit. Prayer is the way you walk by faith it is the breath of the christian life all day long. Just breath in, and breath out. it is the way you live. - John Piper
Prayer is the “pouring out” our hearts to God in Praise, Petition, Confession, and Thanksgiving.
Philippians 4:6 ESV
do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Praise: God you are great

Matthew 6:9 ESV
Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.

Petition: Help I need you

Matthew 6:10–11 ESV
Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread,

Confession: Im sorry

How will commit to prayer as a church?

Prayer is where the work of ministry begins.
Prayer is the process of realignment as actively do the work of ministry.
Prayer is the reminder to the thank the provider of all that takes place in ministry.
We must commit to be a praying people.

Current- Weekly prayer email, prayer before each gathering, daily staff prayer.
