‘It’s too good to be true’ is a phrase we often hear as to warnings about scams. We are told that if what is being offered seems ‘too good to be true’ then it probably is in fact not true and it is better to avoid the transaction. In times of door knocking in my earlier years of ministry, I came across people, who when told the Gospel thought ‘surely they had to DO something’ in order to be saved. For their ticket into heaven to be FREE was ‘too good to be true’. Sadly, many within the Church while believing in the grace of God, find it hard to believe that through Christ alone, God in His amazing grace, ALREADY NOW IN THIS LIFE, chooses to look upon us as perfect. In this sermon we will see that God’s grace really is amazing.
