The same loving Savior who promised a glorious heaven also guaranteed a fiery, eternal hell. In fact, his descriptions of this horrible place are among the most graphic and alarming words in the whole Bible. He moved many to obedience as he fostered the fear of hell and the desire to avoid it at all costs.
