Dont be anxious
Depression, fear, and anxiety.
Jesus says to consider the lilies of the Field and how they neither close themselves or provide for themselves. And yet, they are a raid with more splendor than Solomon.
Jesus also says to consider the lilies are erase lilies are backspace
It also says to consider the birds of the air how they neither, so no reap nor do anything to store up for themselves, but your father in heaven, close them and feed them. Is Jesus Pointing to the birds and storing them up, pointing back to his command to store up for yourself treasures in heaven?
Is there a connection between the birds storing up for themselves and people storing treasures on earth for themselves?
Fear, depression, and anxiety exist and are increasing in culture; Jesus invites us not to be anxious about anything in life.
It seems like Jesus is the answer to not being anxious is in knowing that your father knows everything that you need.
Anxiety has been increasing in prevalence and acceptance. We are more anxious today than we’ve ever been, according to….
John and Pennington compare the sermon on the mount to a literal mountain, where the reader climbs up one side, reaches the summit, the Lord’s prayer, and then hikes down the other side of the mountain.
“Your father knows that you need all of these things… And seek first the kingdom of heaven and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. “
Knowing that your father knows what you need in seeking his kingdom seems to be Jesus answer to anxiety.
Both faith and fear sail into the harbor of your mind, but only faith should be allowed to anchor.
