2 Peter 3:9 - 9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.

What is the most conveinent way you can think of how to warm something up? a Microwave!
Why is that you think we like things so fast?
Isnt the slow cooked meal much better tasting? stays warmer longer?

We think God is not hearing or answering us when we don’t get the response that we want or when we want

God is more patient than we can imagine! But He is and has been calling you.
God is true to His word!

Distractions that don’t allow us to hear

Elijah in the cave 1 Kings 19 - 9-18 we hear about all kinds of distractions.... This takes us off and doesn’t allow us to see God’s movement
If God is telling you all His promises for you and your life, but can’t hear it because of distractions… God is not slow to fulfill His promises, rather we are being distracted more than allowing God’s movement to be present

The promise for eternal life with Him, repentance in one self must be reached

John 3:16 is the ultimate promise
Its for you today, tomorrow, and any day you wake up until the day He calls you back home.
Its not slow, Its a fulfilling promise. But its up to us to take hold of that promise until its reached?
What is salvation???
preservation or deliverance from harm, ruin, or loss.
deliverance from sin and its consequences, believed by Christians to be brought about by faith in Christ.
This is something that is a daily thing, the promise…His promise, is never slow. Its something that is always there for us, we have to listen, be obedient, and persevere in our walk.
