Text: 1 Peter 2:24 “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”
Introduction: Living a healthy Lifestyle
Isaiah 53:5 “But he was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: The chastisement of our peace was upon him; And with his stripes we are healed.”
Matthew 8:17 “That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.”
I. Healthy Lifestyle
A. exercise
B. diet.. junk food...
c. drinking water (cut back on pop’s and soda)
d. changing the way we think Romans 12:2 GW Don’t become like the people of this world. Instead, change the way you think” We are the healed resisting sickness.
e. Getting our proper sleep and rest
These are things that we can do in the natural....
II. God wants you well
Psalm 91:16 “With long life will I satisfy him, And shew him my salvation.”
Proverbs 3:1 “My son, forget not my law; But let thine heart keep my commandments:”
Proverbs 3:2 “For length of days, and long life, And peace, shall they add to thee.”
Proverbs 4:20 “My son, attend to my words; Incline thine ear unto my sayings.”
Proverbs 4:21 “Let them not depart from thine eyes; Keep them in the midst of thine heart.”
Proverbs 4:22 “For they are life unto those that find them, And health to all their flesh.”
The Word is medicine...
III. Your situation is not to hard for God
Mark 9:23 “Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.”
Mark 9:23 GW “As far as possibilities go, everything is possible for the person who believes”
Mark 5:25 “And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,”
Mark 5:26 “And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,”
Mark 5:27 “When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.”
A. Faith is an act....She did something
B. No one invited her..
C. She fought through the crowd and received her healing..
Mark 5:34 “And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.”
B. Mark 2:1 “And again he entered into Capernaum, after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house.”
Mark 2:2 “And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them.”
Mark 2:3 “And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.”
Mark 2:4 “And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.”
Mark 2:5 “When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.”

in both cases neither one was satisfied with there condition
are you satisfied with your condition?
You can be healed!
