Leviticus 25:1-13
Leviticus 25:1-13
1 The Lord spoke to Moses on Mount Sinai, saying, 2 “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land that I give you, the land shall keep a Sabbath to the Lord. 3 For six years you shall sow your field, and for six years you shall prune your vineyard and gather in its fruits, 4 but in the seventh year there shall be a Sabbath of solemn rest for the land, a Sabbath to the Lord. You shall not sow your field or prune your vineyard. 5 You shall not reap what grows of itself in your harvest, or gather the grapes of your undressed vine. It shall be a year of solemn rest for the land. 6 The Sabbath of the land shall provide food for you, for yourself and for your male and female slaves and for your hired worker and the sojourner who lives with you, 7 and for your cattle and for the wild animals that are in your land: all its yield shall be for food. 8 “You shall count seven weeks of years, seven times seven years, so that the time of the seven weeks of years shall give you forty-nine years. 9 Then you shall sound the loud trumpet on the tenth day of the seventh month. On the Day of Atonement you shall sound the trumpet throughout all your land. 10 And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you, when each of you shall return to his property and each of you shall return to his clan. 11 That fiftieth year shall be a jubilee for you; in it you shall neither sow nor reap what grows of itself nor gather the grapes from the undressed vines. 12 For it is a jubilee. It shall be holy to you. You may eat the produce of the field. 13 “In this year of jubilee each of you shall return to his property.
The climax of the book of Leviticus is a single very long speech from 25:2-26:45. The concern of which is the land which Yawheh was going to give the people of Israel, how would they retain it. How would they keep it over the generations.
What happens if the poor have to sale their land, or the rich acquire it through purchase? What happens in the event of hardships, or foolishness. What happens if an inheritance is squandered? What happens if through exploitation or wickedness land is taken by the wealthy or powerful. This is the promised land given by God, but how can God’s design be maintained when people mess it up? This was the promised land, but how will the promised land be retained and kept.
What is given to each tribe and people, how do they know that as the years go by that thier generations after them will still have land.
The Year Juliblee and Sabbath years are God’s merciful gift. It points to God working to restore and keep his people even when they fail to keep themselves. It is the way by which God would make sure the people and families could retain the land that God intended them to have.
The Jubilee and Sabbath years, are to reflect the work and purpose of God! And that work, at its base, is one of mercifully reordering creations dislocating forces.
Sin and thier disobedience was going to mess up God’s design for the Israelites. They were going to take advantage of each-other. They were going to trust in themselves and disregard their brother and sister. They were going to squander inheritances. They were going to find themselves as slaves of each-other working to pay of debts. They are going to act wickedly and take advantage of eachother
The Year of Jubilee:
•A time of rest for the land and people
•A time where the poor returned home
•A time where the slaves were made free
•A time where debts were forgiven
•A time for the people to rejoice in their God
So the Year of Jubilee was meant to be just that. A time of rejoicing for the people. A time where God would right what sin and injustice made wrong. Where they could rest, the poor could return home, slaves were made free, and inheritances restored.
But the more you look into this historically, there is little evidence that the people celebrated, enacted, or enjoyed these commands from Leviticus 25.
The central Jewish teaching regarding the length of this insight, according to which the 70 years of Captivity were due to 70 missed Sabath Years from the time they were in the Promised land to the destruction of-temple (490 years).
For about 490 years from David’s reign to the exile, the land was farmed continually until it was long overdue for a Sabbath rest, in fact up to 70 years. Theres little evidence of the laws of Leviticus 25 every having been enacted.
Why did the Year of Jubillee not bring a rejoicing? Why did something God intended to mercifully restore, becomes something they ignored. There are layers to this..and thier inability to rejoice and obey something that God had intended to help them, was rooted in something else.
Illustration: Nesting Dolls, Dolls layered inside each other. As I thought about this text…the picture of the Russian Nesting doll came to my mind. On the surface, we see one picture, but it is made up of various layers independent yet connected parts. When we ask the question, why don’t we see these people rejoicing, or celebrating, or obeying God’s command and promise..We find that there are various independent and dependent parts. If on the surface there is no rejoicing..it tells me that something else is missing. Another part, another piece..that the Israelites lost sight of.
Follow me, as I lay out the heart of the Issue for the Israelite people..layer by layer. And what this teaches us
What should have been joy was absent, becuase first, there was not an intentional Sabbath or rest.
Joy in God is made up of resting in God!
1. We can not rejoice in God if we do not rest in God.
1. We can not rejoice in God if we do not rest in God.
REST: Sabbath Year
REST: Sabbath Year
The first thing we see is that within the year of Jubilee is a Sabbath year. A Sabbath year would happen every 7 years, but after 7 Sabbath years, (49 years), the 50th would be a year of Jubilee & Sabath Year.
During the Sabbath year, the land was not worked or cultivated for a year. The land was available for anyone to pick, but not for the owner to harvest as they normally would. Leaving a field fallow or unworked had practical purposes. In order for a field to bear fruit the land would have to be left fallow every other year anyway.
But, the way this could have been done was that a farmer would divide his holding into two. He farms one one year, and lets the other rest the other. And then rotates. Then on the sabbath year, you harvest from both fields and let the land rest.
The picture here though is rest. God is the lands true owner, so taking a Sabbath year forces the Israelites to reorient their hard to God and be reminded that He ultimately is their provider.
Calling a Sabbath year every 7 years, telling the people to rest and trust in God was a mercy. It was to reorient their heart to God
Now, a Sabbath as we know was something God had already worked into the everyday life of the Israelites. Every 7th day of the week was to a rest from work, to remind the people that God is the provider. It is to remind them that it is not their work for God which saves them, but God’s work for them. It is to kill the idol of work and business..and bring them to trust.
Even when the Israelites were in the wilderness and God provided manna from heaven..on the 6th day they were to gather for 2 days, and rest on the 7th.
Rest is worked into the regular rhythm of the Israelite life.
God does not say, rest in me if you can afford it. Or rest in me if you have the time. It is a command. It is God’s method of rescuing your heart from the dislocating forces of sin..the idolatry of work, the pride of life.
When you read Leviticus 26, you see God says there will be consequences for not resting, for not celebrating the Sabbath year or the year of the Jubilee.
Leviticus 26:1-2
1 “You shall not make idols for yourselves or erect an image or pillar, and you shall not set up a figured stone in your land to bow down to it, for I am the Lord your God. 2 You shall keep my Sabbaths and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord.
So when they would not rest willingly, they learned rest through discipline.
They did not celebrate the year of Jubilee and God’s call to rejoice, because they refused to rest. They celebrated the works of thier own hands, more than God’s work for them.
What am I saying? Rest is not a luxury, it is a necessity. It is a spiritual command. And our busyness and restlessness..our need to go go go…has serious spiritual implications, and spiritual consequences.
Taking time to rest in God, brings joy our life. Rest in God, reorients our heart to the right perspective.
Ecclesiastes: Vanity of Vanities. Look over the sun.
Work cultivates the land, but resting in God cultivates the heart. The land was fruitful but their heart was hard and barren.
Work cultivates the land, but resting in God cultivates the heart. The land was fruitful but their heart was hard and barren.
Busyness kills the heart. Rest in God, restores it.
Their inability to keep the Sabbath year, and year of Jubilee…reflected a deeper heart issue.
What does this mean for us today?
I hope the connection becomes clear.
If you ask someone today what have they been up to..they will likely say, nothing…been busy. We wear busyness like a badge. Yeah worked 70 hours this week, haven’t had a day off…working hard. Going, going…and were proud of it. Work hours of overtime, but have no time for God. Even when we come to church for an hour, we are distracted and come up with reasons why its too long.
When busyness becomes our badge, barrenness becomes our reward.
We are in a time where we are doing much more, but actually accomplishing less. We are a mile wide, but an inch deep.
1 There is an evil that I have seen under the sun, and it lies heavy on mankind: 2 a man to whom God gives wealth, possessions, and honor, so that he lacks nothing of all that he desires, yet God does not give him power to enjoy them, but a stranger enjoys them. This is vanity; it is a grievous evil. 3 If a man fathers a hundred children and lives many years, so that the days of his years are many, but his soul is not satisfied with life’s good things, and he also has no burial, I say that a stillborn child is better off than he.
Here is the picture, the land is fruitful, but the heart is barren. We got the raise but we still have no joy. We have what we thought we needed, but we can’t even enjoy it. Theres no joy in it? Why? Restless Hearts. He says better to have no life, than a life of restlessness that can not rest in God.
2 It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sleep.
We have no joy becuase we are restless. Restess hearts. What does this mean?
Practically
I am not proposing a year where you stop working. No, that is not the point. But the point is that a Sabbath, a rest, should be worked into the rythym of your life. We work and work until were burnt out..and even when we finally take a vacation, we need a vacation from the vacation becuase the vacation wasn’t enugh. We got physical rest, but we need spirtual rest.
A Sabbath time must be worked in as a rhythm into your life.
Daily- A time to pray, be still, and reorient your heart. Not just leftover time, but intentional, purposed time with God.
Weekly- A day every week where you intentionally put the phone down, don’t do emails, disconnect. But RJ they need me. I have to be available or it may fall apart. Wrong. They won’t fall apart. If you don’t rest, be still..you will apart.
Illustration: Chair, rushing
Yearly- Go away for a few days, or a period of time and just spend time with you and God.
RJ, I don’t have time for all that. Yeah, well Jesus did. He was saving the world, and yet still knew if I don’t go out into this wilderness to pray, if I don’t go away in the morning to spend time with my father, I can do nothing.
The Sabbath, Sabbath year....was all to teach the people that its not your effort that sustains you or those around you. It is God.
Our busyness is an idolatry issue. It is when we seek to be more than we are called to be…and we will not submit that it is God who sustains us.
In a culture where busyness is a fetish and stillness is laziness, rest is sloth. But without rest, we miss the rest of God: the rest he invites us to enter more fully so that we might know him more deeply. “Be still, and know that I am God.” Some knowing is never pursued, only received. And for that, you need to be still. -David Buchanon
But RJ, I’m making more money than I’ve made, I’m getting stuff done, I’m sucessful. Or you say, I have to work this much because of my bills and responsibilities. Or a colleg estudent you say, I have so many classes, I have to study. Or a middle school..I have all these activities.
I can’t come on Wednesday because of work. I can’t take a day off becuase of bills. I don’t have time to spend daily in the word because I’m up so early for work and have so much to get done.
That is a prison of your own making…and a lie. We have constructed lives where we fill them everything we want, every game, hobby, we make no time to rest in God, and yet wonder why we are restless.
I don’t have time..I can’t rest is a lie.
2 Things:
Everything you have is Gods. The land that the Israelites had was God’s. God wasn’t asking them to stop working thier land, God was telling to stop working His land. It was God’s land, God’s people, God’s..and they told God what they were going to do with what’s God’s. God said, let my land rest, back to me..and they said..no.
RJ I don’t have time…Hold up God gives you time, God gives you energy…and you’re going to tell God you don’t have time to obey or serve God with His time and energy that He gives you to serve Him?
Its like you telling your son or daughter, Heres some money, go buy dinner…you can keep the change. But time goes by, you call them, and they say yeah..I don’t have money to buy dinner. Huh? I spent it on something else. Yeah I bought some shoes, and I only had a dollar left. What would you say? I gave you my money to buy dinner, what was left over was yours. You’re telling me, you used my money for your shoes, and going to give me the change. And say, you don’t have enough?
God gives us time and energy and strength and breath to worship and serve and spend with Him and you're going to tell Him that you don’t have it? What do you think that time is for? You don’t have stregnth to serve God, what do you think you were given strength for? You don’t have time to disciple and pray with your children..what do you think you were given children for? You don’t have money to give to the church or God, what do you think you were given money for? You’re too busy working to pray and rest with God, what do you think you were given that job for?
What would you say to your child if they did that to you?
2. God gives more than enough for you to have rest.
God says in the text that before the year of Sabbath, God would give them enough for 3 years on the 6th. So that they could rest. They’d take the extra, steward it…and allow God’s provision to lead you to rest. God gave them extra, to facilitate rest. God didn’t ask them to rest, and then not provide enough for the people to rest.
But today, if we have a good year, or get a raise, we don’t see it as God’s gift to help us rest. We use it to increase our standard of living…we buy something else, and get more bills…and have to work more. We create lifestyles that make it necessary for us always to be working..and blame God we don’t have rest.
You say, I have to work extra to pay for my car. Yes, but God gave you enough to get a good car that you could pay off comfortably and have enough time to rest and pray and serve..but you wanted the other one. That you have to work an extra day for.
Or RJ, I can’t come to church becuase I have this “event”, “responsibility” or “sport”…sure, I hear you. But you not coming to church to be with God isn’t because he hasn’t give you enough time in the day or the week . its because you have filled your schedule more than you can sustain, and rest, God, church….gets the leftovers. Its not that God didn’t give you the time, its that you spent it.
You looked at God’s time that He’s given you to use for Him..and stolen it..for yourselves. God gives you talents, you money, you time…that is from Him and for Him…and say its mine.
You looked at God’s time that He’s given you to use for Him..and stolen it..for yourselves. God gives you talents, you money, you time…that is from Him and for Him…and say its mine.
Whats our, and whats God’s and what is Caesars.
16 And they brought one. And he said to them, “Whose likeness and inscription is this?” They said to him, “Caesar’s.” 17 Jesus said to them, “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” And they marveled at him.
Whats God’s? Whose image is on you? God has made you in His own image. For HIs own glory. And then, bought you and freed you by His blood. And you want to tell God what you are going to do with “your” life and “your” time?
They told God what they were going to do with “thier” time and “thier” land.
the great Dutch prime minister Abraham Kuyper: “There is not one square inch of the entire creation about which Jesus Christ does not cry out, ‘This is mine! This belongs to me!’”
Don’t blame God for your busyness. God has given you more than enough to rest. So you can pause and breathe. More than enough time, more than enough money, more than enough to enjoy Him and enjoy your life.
The problem isn’t God.
1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. 3 He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
God gives us what we need! And he actually leads us into rest…why to restore our soul.
You see, you need a daily sabbath, weekly sabbath..but most importantly..you need a Sabbath heart! Its for your soul.
So the times of Sabbath are all to actually nurture your heart.
Sabbath isn’t just a time but an attitude nurture such stillness.
It is a time we enter, but just as much a way we see. Sabbath imparts the rest of God—actual physical, mental, spiritual rest, but also the rest of God— the things of God’s nature and presence we miss in our busyness. -Mark Buchananan
But when I say Sabbath, I also mean an attitude. It is a perspective, an orientation. I mean a Sabbath heart, not just a Sabbath day. A Sabbath heart is restful even in the midst of unrest and upheaval. It is attentive to the presence of God and others even in the welter of much coming and going, rising and falling. It is still and knows God even when mountains fall into the sea.
Buchanan, Mark. The Rest of God (p. 4). Thomas Nelson. Kindle Edition.
In our business we do many things, but inwardly, we are not truly fruitful or purposeful. We are miles wide…but an inch deep.
How do we know if we have restless heart.
We see all changes to our schedule as interruptions, rather than divine appointments. We are too busy trying to get to the next place, thing, to see who God needs us to help or serve, here now! We aren’t present.
We come to church, but get mad if time goes long because we have somewhere to be. We can watch an extra show on netflix, stay for overtime to a game, get caught on facebook for 15 minutes, stay at work late…but church, no. God, no.
We feel indispensible. (Only one thing is necessary) Jesus was in her house and she was still restless. Becuase she felt like the meal hinged on her..but it didn’t. Jesus didn’t need her. She needed Him.
We pray for revival, but are too busy for it! We give God 10 minutes of prayer a day and say God you have to show up in the 10 minutes I give you. Or we can’t linger at church if people are praying…or say, I can’t take a day off to just spend with God. We expect God to come on our schedule, but God wears His own watch..He doesn’t need yours!
Revival/Awakening- Asbury Seminary in Kentucky. Went on for two weeks, ended about 4 days ago. And it began at the end of an ordinary chapel service…after the service 2 students decided to stay and linger and worship. What if they would’ve said..times up, chapel is over?
I can’t pray for an hour, that doesn’t feel productive.
We have to be people of rest!
15 For thus said the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, “In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength.” But you were unwilling,
We have no joy because we have no rest. We don’t a time of Sabbath or a Sabbath Heart.
2. There is no Rest in God until we Return to God
2. There is no Rest in God until we Return to God
RETURN: Year of Jubilee
RETURN: Year of Jubilee
The second part of the year of Jubilee was this…all slaves, those who had lost their inheritance, the poor, the taken advantage of…were to return hime to their land. Those that had squandered and made mistakes, when the year of Jubilee came, they could come home! The land they had lost, would be restored. They could return to the promised land that God had given them.
God mercifully gives them back the land they may not have stewarded well, and calls them also back to himself.
Effectively, God desired to restore them. He knew they would mess up, and brings the poor and slave home. Sets them free. He calls them back to the land, but most importantly, back to Himself
God calls all restless hearts…back to Himself.
A restless heart cripples your ability to be close to God. You can be around God, but still miss God.
A shepherded heart is not a busy heart!
I say return to God, and you think I’m talking about the person who doesn’t come to church, or even the person who is lost in thier sin. Yes, I’m talking to them, but I’m talking to you too. Every member of Berea, I’m calling you to return.
Your restlessness keeps you from God. You can be in church but still be so far away. Martha..in the house with Jesus, but so far away.
Psalm 46:10
10 “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”
In other words, the heart that knows God will be still. The heart that is restless, does not know as they think they know.
Jesus in the boat-Could sleep in a storm…He knew His father. The disciples again, restless, what are we going to do..only revealed that they did not know Jesus the way they thought they did. “What matter of man is this?”
A Restless heart reveals you do not know God as well as you think. It reveals that you are not as trusting as you believe. God calls us back to Himself
Matthew 11:28-30
28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Come and then you will find rest!
If we will not make time for God, we do not know him the way we think. We are not as close as we believe. Again He calls…come!
Our doing for God must flow out of our being.
Do not confuse coming to church as being with God. Be With God! Rest in Him! Come back to Him, church.
If you have no time for God daily, no time for God in your week, If you are always gong and going, but have nothing to give to God who gives it all to you..I’m telling you. Repent and Return to God.
It is not your proximity to the church that makes you close to God, it is your proximity to the heart of God!
Prodigal Son
Both sons are in the Fathers house, no joy. Both were restless. The younger said I want to leave the Fathers house, I don’t want the Father, Ijust want His stuff and I’ll leave. The other said, I don’t want the Father, I want the Fathers stuff too, I’ll just be real good. But both, we find out in the parable, had hearts that were far from the Father. And just becuase the Older son was in the house did not mean He wasn’t restless and He too needed to return. When His brother comes back, the older brother doesn’t want to come in..but the Father calls Him in too!
We are restless, and whether you come to church, or don’t..we all need to return to God!
There is no Rest in God Untill We Return!
3. You can not return to God if you are not released by God.
3. You can not return to God if you are not released by God.
RELEASE: Year of Jubilee
RELEASE: Year of Jubilee
The third thing that happened on the year of Jubilee was that debts were released. Slaves were released. So people went home, but they could only come home if the debts they had were surrendered.
And here is the issue. They could only be set free if the wealthy allowed it. This would of been very hard for the rich..because the year of Jubillee, which was good news for the poor and the slave..would have been tough news for the wealthy.
Rather than see the jubilee year as a utopian literary fiction, it seems better to believe that its widespread neglect occurred not because the jubilee was unfeasible, but because the wealthy were unwilling to accept the social and economic implications that would have been costly and disruptive to them- Theology of Work.Com
God released them..THese are my People, my land, but the people didn’t. Gods mercy to HIs people didn’t fall because God wasn’t merciful..but because the people that were meant to be a reflection of that mercy would not.
So follow me, the time that should have been a time of rejoicing, because they were restless and would not trust God to provide, their hearts were far from God, and three, they refused to acknowledge and show the mercy that God had shown them. They forgot to see that even for the rich, what they had was a gift..and it belonged to God too.
God had allowed them to come home, but the people were selfish.
If you’re restless and want to return to God to find rest, let me tell you something.
FIRST OFF:
God is calling you..and He forgives you even when your own decisions brought you far from Him. Even if you are in the mess you are in becuase you did. God calls us home.
Do not let the selfishness or pride of Christians, keep you from coming home either.
Sometimes the reason people are afraid to trust in God, or come to God, is becuase theyre afraid of what the people in God’s house will thing about the mistakes they made. They know God loves them, but for some reason we don’tBecuase we have been released from the guilt of our sin by God’s mercy, we should show mercy.
Prodigal Son: Imagine if the Older Brother got to the Younger Brother before the father did. The Father was willing to forgive Him and bring Him home..but the Older Brother wasn’t.
Sometimes the reason people aren’t excitted about Jesus or His promise, is becuase the people who have it, get to them before God can…and don’t show mercy.
This is for the church: If we can not forgive people, if we are afriad of messy folks at our church, if we are too busy condemning people fhere they are to love them…we completely missed the heart of God.
Those who know the mercy of God, show it.
Matthew 6:12
12 and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
Because God has forgiven our debts, we can forgive them.
God had offered mercy, so they were called to call mercy.
General: our community is changing. We have more college students, more people with more differences, and Berea is a church for all people. Rich poor, black white, college student, this neighborhood, that neighborhood. Be are a church for all people becuase God is a God for all people. And God has releaesd us from our sin, we have the mercy and ability to release them.
And can you image what God would say if the people He called to Himself, were turned away because we got to them first..no.
God released the people so they could come home, so they could rest..and they could rejoice!!
But heres the issue…God forgave the people of thier physical debts, but because thier hearts and the sin debt..they could not change. They could not release the people, so they could not come home, so they could not rest…and they did not rejoice.
But there is good news! God takes care of that too. Not just the debt of money that the people owed..but the sin debt.
2000 years ago, Jesus was born..and lived..and this is what He said.
18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, 19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
You remember this…people that heard this would have immediately recongized the tie to the year of Jubilee.
This year of Jubilee was a picture of what Christ would accomplish through His blood.
Jesus was going to provide Rejoicing fr the people, by providing Rest, by calling us home to Return, and by releasing us from the debt of our sin!
Jesus…was up all night praying in the Garden, restless in His soul…so WE could find rest in God.
Jesus Left His home…so that we could Return Hom.
Jesus took our sin and punishment so that we could be released.
There is no release by God except through the resurrected redeemer: Jesus.
Resurrected Redeemer: Jesus
Resurrected Redeemer: Jesus
What am I saying?
Jesus has released you and redeemed you- As you Have been released, release them.
Jesus releases you so you can return!- Come Back to Jesus- Not just in the house. Not just sit in the pew. Jesus calls us to the heart of God!
Jesus offers you Rest-Slow down- Make time for Jesus. Rest in Him!
Jesus calls us to Rejoice- Rejoice Church!
We are Jubilee people. We have something better than the news of a year of Jubilee. We have the good news of salvation. And today is the day of Salvation.
They did not celebrate the year of Jubilee, and still didn’t celebrate the Son of God. But Jesus did what the year of Jubilee could not.
In the Prodigal Son parable- the older brother stays out wouldn’t forgive. And in Israel, the wealthy and religious leaders too, would not let go of the debts people owed. But praise God we have a better older brother. If the older brother had truly loved His father, we wouldn’t have just came to the party..but He wouldn’ve saw how hurt His father was, and brought his brother home.
Jesus our better older brother doesn’t wait on imperfect people to make it right. He goes and gets us. Brining us home. So we can rest!
Allow the Resurrected Redeemer to Release You From Your Sin, Bring You Back Home Again, So You Can Rest In His Arms..And Rejoice in His House.
And if you know this Resurected Redeemer- Show this mercy ! Release others..and don’t just invite them…but bring them home.
And if you know this Resurrected Reddemer- Return to the Heart of the Father- To love and serve
And if you know this Resurrected Redeemer- Rest in Him. Let go of the busyness! Pause, take a Sabbath....And Rejoice
We don’t have to wait for a year of Jubilee...Today is the day of Salvation! Come to Jesus!
