Ego vs humility

So far Jesus has claimed he is the light of the world, the bread of life.. that he follows the Father God and those around him Follow the father of lies, Satan.

Now the ultimate insult. Jesus you are a Samaritan. and a demon…

49 Jesus answered, “I do not have a demon, but I honor my Father, and you dishonor me. 50 Yet I do not seek my own glory; there is One who seeks it, and he is the judge.

Their attack on him as a Samaritan is that he is a liar. A lesser than. Jesus overcomes this with strong truth

But he does remind them who his father is… not the father of lies.. satan..like them but the father of Heaven

God claimed this name for him and him only … I AM. He absolutely is!
