The Nemesis of Israel
The Nemesis of Israel
How happeneth it Israel, that thou art in thine enemies’ land, that thou art waxen old in a strange country, that thou art defiled with the dead,
We must remember that we are in captivity
Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
We must push the people to stay in the spirit b/c we are all gonna go through trials. We must constantly build up the men around us. The nemesis wants up to stay in sin.
Declared unto us, that in all nations throughout the world there was scattered a certain malicious people, that had laws contrary to all nations, and continually despised the commandments of kings, so as the uniting of our kingdoms, honourably intended by us, cannot go forward. Seeing then we understand that this people alone is continually in opposition unto all men, differing in the strange manner of their laws, and evil affected to our state, working all the mischief they can, that our kingdom may not be firmly established:
Our enemies hate us because we keep the laws. Christianity is against the laws because it is being pushed by our enemies. Gods word will stop the heathen from moving forward their rulership
What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.
The nemesis is upset that the laws of god was only given to us.
He sheweth his word unto Jacob, His statutes and his judgments unto Israel.
God only gave the word to Israel.
Nemesis: The inescapable agent of someone’s downfall. Longstanding rival, Archenemy.
Nemesis: The inescapable agent of someone’s downfall. Longstanding rival, Archenemy.
Archenemy: A person extremely hostile or opposed to someone. The devil.
Archenemy: A person extremely hostile or opposed to someone. The devil.
That we should be saved from our enemies, And from the hand of all that hate us;
This is the real gospel. Israel being saved from the nations
Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the Lord. And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness. And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not. And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them.
The nemesis has tricked our people to hear the good news but not change from their wicked ways.
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
The children of Satan are our Archenemy
Beware of a counsellor, and know before what need he hath; for he will counsel for himself; lest he cast the lot upon thee,
For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; But his heart is not with thee.
Cant speak with your enemies about our business, because his mind is against us.
Beware of a counsellor, and know before what need he hath; for he will counsel for himself; lest he cast the lot upon thee, And say unto thee, Thy way is good: and afterward he stand on the other side, to see what shall befall thee.
For thy violence against thy brother Jacob shame shall cover thee, And thou shalt be cut off for ever.
For what our enemy did to us he will be cut off forever. No need to try to deal with him in the scriptures.
If any man have an ear, let him hear. He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain, So shall all the heathen drink continually, Yea, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, And they shall be as though they had not been.
Esau will be wiped out and forgotten about.
Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; That they do not rise, nor possess the land, Nor fill the face of the world with cities.
For I will rise up against them, saith the Lord of hosts, And cut off from Babylon the name, and remnant, And son, and nephew, saith the Lord.
And Isaac intreated the Lord for his wife, because she was barren: and the Lord was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived. And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to inquire of the Lord. And the Lord said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, And two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; And the one people shall be stronger than the other people; And the elder shall serve the younger. And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb. And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau. And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau’s heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them.
The Nemesis from the beginning
Never trust thine enemy: for like as iron rusteth, so is his wickedness.
Though he humble himself, and go crouching, yet take good heed and beware of him, and thou shalt be unto him as if thou hadst wiped a lookingglass, and thou shalt know that his rust hath not been altogether wiped away. Set him not by thee, lest, when he hath overthrown thee, he stand up in thy place; neither let him sit at thy right hand, lest he seek to take thy seat, and thou at the last remember my words, and be pricked therewith. Who will pity a charmer that is bitten with a serpent, or any such as come nigh wild beasts? So one that goeth to a sinner, and is defiled with him in his sins, who will pity? For a while he will abide with thee, but if thou begin to fall, he will not tarry. An enemy speaketh sweetly with his lips, but in his heart he imagineth how to throw thee into a pit: he will weep with his eyes, but if he find opportunity, he will not be satisfied with blood. If adversity come upon thee, thou shalt find him there first; and though he pretend to help thee, yet shall he undermine thee. He will shake his head, and clap his hands, and whisper much, and change his countenance.
And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.
Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; Thou slanderest thine own mother’s son. These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; Thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: But I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.
Now consider this, ye that forget God, Lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.
Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him.
For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: And they that hate thee have lifted up the head. They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, And consulted against thy hidden ones. They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; That the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Be changed, don't be in agreement with your enemy. We must lean to live right with each other.
Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
You cant do that to a real Archenemy or a Nemesis. Only with your brother that has become an enemy. The whole cause is to gain your brother back.
But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
