Mary’s Song

After hearing from Gabriel the Promise of God, and the Prophetic word given by Elizabeth. Mary’s heart was glad!

The word of God brings hope and Joy with it!

Hebrews 4:12 NKJV

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Hebrews 4:12 AMP

For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.

The Word of God exposed Mary’s faith in God! Faith comes through hearing the word of God!

Faith brings with it hope and certainty

Luke 1:46–56 NKJV

And Mary said: “My soul magnifies the Lord, And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior. For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant; For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed. For He who is mighty has done great things for me, And holy is His name. And His mercy is on those who fear Him From generation to generation. He has shown strength with His arm; He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. He has put down the mighty from their thrones, And exalted the lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things, And the rich He has sent away empty. He has helped His servant Israel, In remembrance of His mercy, As He spoke to our fathers, To Abraham and to his seed forever.” And Mary remained with her about three months, and returned to her house.

Mary’s Soul Magnifies the Lord

Mary herself with all she is.

Soul carries the meaning of breath!, When we were created God breathed His breath into our lungs and we came alive!. Soul means life or being alive. Having Life.

Soul also means the center seat of the inner man. Where our thoughts and emotions and desires are. Good desires and bad desires, good thoughts and bad thoughts. It where the decisions are made. The place we surrender to God!

Matthew 22:37 NKJV

Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’

Soul means you!

Mary Soul Magnifies! Make loud! Mega Big! To speak greatness and elevate, promote!

The Lord the One God who is in charge!

Mary Spirit Rejoiced in God my Savior

Spirit is air in movement. Wind. Spirit is the movement generated by the soul. The movement, direction, intention, attitude, affect. We have on everything around us.

John 4:24 NKJV

God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

John 6:63 NKJV

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

Galatians 5:16 NKJV

I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

With spirit she moved into rejoicing or used her movement to rejoice in the one who is in charge!

Her Song came to her because the promises of God lifted her lowly state. God’s word to her lifted her state, condition. Now she would be called blessed.

Her song came because God who is huge and powerful accomplished amazing things on her behalf.

The Song of Mary Came from the promises of God’s word to her.
