Jesus was often moved by emotions.

Matthew 9:36–37 KJV 1900

But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;

Jesus teaches us to be moved by our compassion.

Luke 10:33 (AV 1873)

But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,

And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

But this emotion is in line with positive Biblical principles. Emotions like anger, wrath, envy, lust, ect.. will be used by your flesh to make decisions counter productive to God’s will for your life.

Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
