Get me to Mark chapter number 5, Mark, chapter number 5 weave. Come to this 5th chapter. If you will recall two Sundays ago, we saw how Jesus was Lord. They demonstrated himself to be Lord over nature and all of its Fury has it calmed the storm, as Jesus calmed, the sea. Majesta. Him speaking it and demanding it. So this demonstrated to his disciples and it demonstrates the even to us today, that Jesus, then if he has power over nature, he must be God. For only God has that kind of power. Well, today, we see the same really the same thing. And we see that Jesus is not only Lord over the storm or over nature that Jesus is also Lord over Satan. And the fact that Jesus is Lord over, Satan really demonstrates for us again that Jesus Christ must be. He has to be the Son of God. God In The Flash. The Apostle, John tells us. At the Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of Satan. Jesus came beloved tooth. Vanquish Satan. And really this had to happen. Because in order to rescue centers from spiritual bondage, Satan them must be defeated. And we know that Christ defeated Satan, how by the cross of calvary, And 3 Days Later being raised from the dead. So this takes us to Mark chapter 5 and really of all the accounts were demons are confronted. And where demons are cast out. This has got to be the most traumatic. Passage. Let's read together. Mark chapter 5 and verse number one. It says then they came to the other side of the seat to the country of the Gatherings and when he had come out of the boat immediately there met him out of the tombs, a man with an unclean Spirit who had his dwelling among the tombs and no one could bind him, not even with chains because he had often been bound with shackles and chains and the chains have been pulled apart by him. And the shackles broken in pieces, neither could anyone tame him and always night and day. He was in the mountains and in the tombs crying out and cutting himself with stones. When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and worshipped him. And he cried out with a loud voice and said, what have I to do with you? Jesus, Son of the most high God. I implore you by God that you do not torment. Me. For, he said to him. Come out, Jesus said to him come out of the man unclean spirit. Then he asked him. What is your name? Any answered saying my name is Legion for we are many. Also, he begged him earnestly that he would not send them out of the country and now a large herd of swine was feeding their near the mountains. So, all the demons bag him saying, send us to the swine that we may enter them. And I once Jesus gave them permission and then the unclean spirits went out and introduce wander about 2,000. And the herd ran violently down the Steep Place into the sea and drowned in the sea. So those who fed the swine fled, and they told it in the city and in the country and they went out to see what it was that happened. Then they came to Jesus and saw all the one who had been demon-possessed and had the legion sitting and clothed with an in his right mind. And they were afraid. And those who saw it, told them how it happened to him, who had been demon-possessed and about the swine, then they began to plead with him to depart from their region. And when he got into the boat, he who had been demon-possessed begged him, that he might be with him. However, Jesus did not permit him but said to him, go home to your friends and tell them what great things. The Lord has done for you and how he has had compassion on you and he departed and began to reclaim and decopolis all that Jesus had done for him and all marveled Our Father, we come before you Lord this morning and we stand in all of your presence. We stand in all of your power and your Authority.

The father that you not only possess. Sovereignty over the storms in over nature, but Lord, you possess the authority. Over our Arch Enemy Satan. And Lord I pray that it's we go through this time of preaching that you would feel me. Lord, will your spirit hide me behind the cross? and father, I pray that those are in here this very hour who are outside of Christ I pray that the Holy Spirit would do what I cannot do and I just draw them to your son, Jesus and save them. I pray that all those who are in Christ. All those have been saved, would look at this passage of scripture and just be just marveled. Once again at your old overwhelming Grace that you have show to us. That even though, while we were yet, sinners

Your son, Jesus died for us.

The father, I pray that you would use a sermon For Your Glory. For the edification of this body of believers. We love you and ask all these things in Christ name, amen. first thing that we see very clearly as we read this particular chapter, Is number one. We see Satan's power. And his authority is great. Satan's power and his authority is great and we know his power and his authority is great by how he controlled this man? He literally possessed this man to do things that would destroy this man's body. Do we do things that was really out of natural character?

We think about Satan's power and authority. We notice the destructive power of Satan here.

Satan always always uses his power and authority to destruct to destroy. He never uses his power and authority to build up. He never uses his power and authority to edify. But always to destroy. As matter of fact, Jesus said in John 10 that the thief has come, only to steal kill and destroy.

If you have been in the church very long, you have no doubt. Read Mark chapter 5, many times and each time you read this particular chapter, you're shocked. By the sheer Madness of this man. You're shocked by the character of this man. You're also shocked by the shear strength of this man. So bad was this man that the people of his town had driven him away.

I didn't so doing he descended into a life of built. A life of loneliness, a life of Terror. people feared him because again of his sheer strength and if he heard him because of his bizarre behavior, But we see here. So clearly how Satan had captured This Man, how he had conquered this particular man. All we read of a man who lived among the tombs. He lived among the Dead.

Re-read of a man who was possessed. By unclean spirits. We read of a man who could not be restrained by chains or shackle. We read of a man, who had no sense of Shame whatsoever. He walked about naked. We read of a man who was fiercely aggressive to anyone, who dared to pass by his way. this man is such an unspeakably depraved character.

Because his heart was depraved. His very mind was depraved. It was such that his life was, you could say, boiling over with wretches wretchedness and wickedness.

So much. So that there was nothing about this man, that was decent. There's nothing about this man. That was orderly are proper or Pleasant. As a matter of fact, when you read about his life, you only read of his disorderly conduct. And you read of the destructive nature of this man. Verse 5, tells us and always night. And Dave, he was in the mountains and in the tombs crying out and cutting himself with stones. This man who lived among the tombs who cried out, maybe even as a wild animal spent much of his time. His spare time, cutting himself, mutilating himself with stones. What does it mean that he cut himself with Stonewell? Some believe that this was a form of some type of depraved Pagan worship ritual. Others. See some type of a while. But yet, futile attempt to drive out the demons that were inside of him. But it seems that it is a failed attempt to end his life in the end his suffering by Suicide. all such misery was this man in that he tried again and again to end his unbearable existence in there.

And listen, this was the plan. This was the agenda. Of the Demons who were inside of him. And if it were not for the grace of God upon this man's life, he would have succeeded in doing so.

The one cannot imagine a more miserable existence than what this man lived. Here's a man who was causing self-harm. Mutilating himself to such a degree that this was something that he did regularly.

This man was continually crying, he was continually cutting himself. Ever since 5, again, the first part and always, you can say continually night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs and crying out and cutting himself with stones. so he was engaged and absolute destructive Behavior continually,

so, because of the destructive power of Satan,

The grip that he had on this man. We see we noticed this man's Restless condition. This man's Restless condition verse 5. Says in always. Night and day. I guess you could say continually night and day this man had no rest.

This man could not find rest. He was continually night and day. Walking them on the tubes crying out and cutting himself.

With no rest. Humble ever. Listen, this man's Restless. Restlessness reminds us of what the prophet Isaiah says. Says, the wicked are like the troubled sea. In which cannot find rest.

I got said this concerning the wicked, that there is no peace, given unto the wicked. I think about that. The wicked have no rest for the wicked. Have no peace. Those who are without Christ have no rest or peace spiritually. Speaking.

They do not have the piece that God gives to his children internally. The only piece that they may have is that which they find externally.

And that external peace must it. It exhausts itself. So, therefore the Lost, Has to continually to try to maintain it. But when God said that, there is no peace for the wicked. He is speaking about that abiding, peace, that he gives to those who are in a right relationship with him. They don't have to seek some type of external piece that will not satisfy and they have to go find it again but rather God gives his children his internal peace, that passes all understanding. So this person this man has no rest but notice secondly this man's hopeless condition.

This man's hopeless condition, again versus three tosses who had his dwelling among the tombs and no one could bind him, not even with chains because he had often been bound with shackles and chains and the chains have been pulled apart by him and the shackles broken in pieces, neither could anyone tame them? Just very clear that there were times, especially in the beginning of this man's wild demon-possessed life that men tried to help this man.

they, no doubt thought that if they could somehow restrain, this man, Maybe then they could help him without fear of him, hurting them. But every time they would try to restrain him with chains and shackles, he broke those chains. Super naturally.

You broke those links of these chains and shackles not by how Harry Houdini would get away from chains. But how Hercules would be able to do so. I just imagine that after time. Many time, the trying to restrain this, man. This man. They simply gave up

so this man, at this point, in his life, was in a state of utter hopelessness, The man in the town could not save him. He could not even save himself.

But think about this.

That's crazy. And as insane, this man behaves, we need to remember that this man did not just appear in these mountains walking among the tombs naked.

Know this man was someone's son.

Let me think about the Heartbreak of this man's mother.

It's very possible that this man had a wife.

And if so, Had children.

And if that be the case, we see quote. So clearly the destructive nature of Satan is such that he not only destroy this one, individual life but he destroyed an entire family.

So often it is true. Today.

that when Satan goes after one-man or one-woman,

his ultimate goal is to go after the entire family.

See the destructive power of Satan. But they notice also the domineering power of Satan.

The domineering power of Satan, you don't have to read very far to this chapter to read that. This man was possessed.

and he was absolutely dominated by Satan and his demons verse 8 tells us Are you said to him? Come out of the man unclean spirit. Vinny ask him. Jesus is asking here? What is your name? Any answer saying my name is Legion for we are many. A Man's. Real name is not even given to us in the story. When Jesus asked for this man's name, we noticed that this man was dominated. He was so dominated and under such satanic control that the man himself could not even speak for himself. A demon spoke for him.

So, what we have here is a man that is painted before us. Who is absolutely enslaved by Satan. This man may have been free to roam around the graves. He may have been free to roam around the tombs he was free to Hal and shout and cry in the night. He was free to terrorize the people. He was free to cut himself and mutilate himself. But would you call what this man had its freedom? No. It wasn't free at all. He was in bondage.

His heart and his mind were totally enslaved by Satan and send so much so that the demons in themselves spoke for this man.

What we see here is a picture.

The man's lost condition without Christ.

I want to listen to Lost those who are without Christ are enslaved.

They're in Chains of bondage, they're held by Satan and sin. And do a lost person. May feel free, they are only free to act and think within the realm of their depraved and imprisoned harp in mind, will allow them to act

listen, one of the great lessons we take from this chapter is how great The power and authority of Satan is. And every person needs to realize this. You need to understand this. so many times, especially in our modern day, we have this picture of Satan with, you know, as some Man, that's dressed in a red suit. with horns, and some type of a pitchfork

We need to know that Satan. Is no friend of sinners.

He is no friend of sinners, his kingdom. Is one of bitter slavery.

He loves the fact that lost individuals are born under his control. Lost individuals are born into his domain.

Satan leads the Lost in the path of destruction, and listen, he loves it that way. He leads centers in to Temptation and encourage them to see in. He cares nothing for the physical body. He loves to see centers enslaved to drugs, he loves us, he centers in slaves, alcohol or pornography. He doesn't care what harm they may do into their cells.

And listen. he even cares less for The Sinner soul.

Sage and rejoices when a soul leaves this world, apart from Christ.

So, what we see in this story here in this, this chapter, is that Satan is a cruel master.

And then you contrast his response to Sinners to Jesus response.

Jesus wept over the physical. And spiritual state of individuals. Jesus wept over the death of Lazarus.

Jesus wept while overlooking Jerusalem and weeping over there, over there over there, lost condition and they're hard heart of their rejection of him as their Messiah. Satan is no friend of sinners, but Jesus is the friend of sinners.

We see in this first part, how Satan Power and its Authority is great. But notice, secondly. Jesus power and authority is greater. Hey man. Jesus power and authority is greater. It's important to understand here. This man's hopeless condition. Until Christ came. And with his Saving Grace, this tragic story turns into what we would say, a triumphant story. And I'm just say, I think it's really easy for us to read this story and come to the conclusion that the central figure in the story has to be the this demonic, man. This demon-possessed man, or maybe the central figure the story is Legion and South the demon himself but that's not the case at all. The central figure in the story is Christ, Jesus. And really the theme of all of these verses verses 1 through 20 is the Triumph of Christ Saving Grace, the Triumph of Christ Saving Grace in these verses. We see first of all Christ, amazing pity Receive Christ. Amazing City. Notice the place that Jesus came, the place that Jesus came, we see Christ's pity and we see his great compassion. When we recall what Matthew says, in his gospel account of the story, they're Matthews House is rather matter-of-factly that no man would dare to pass this way. It was a forbidden area.

Maybe there were signs posted written in Aramaic saying, beware. Keep healthy mad man lives here. But you had Christ. Jesus goes where no man would dare to go. Do you think about the love and compassion and pity that he showed this man and him even coming to this place?

We also.

See, the amazing pity of Christ. When we remember what? All had transpired transpired the previous day.

Me just recount the previous day of how Jesus had a very, very long difficult day. He had a confrontation with the Pharisees. He had a confrontation with his own family. He had been teaching all day long to massive amounts of people And then on his journey to see this man, he encounters a mighty storm. Towanda price, do this.

It was because he is full of mercy and pity, and Grace.

The price was mentally and physically exhausted. He went to seek after this man. Miss demoniac did not seek after Christ.

It was Christ who Moved with compassion. And when other stayed away from this man Christ came to this man, he shall restore me cease to get to this man. so, as we think about this place, that Jesus came, You think about the place of the Dora? The Gathering. the disciples were undoubtedly still in a State of Shock as Very early, the next morning, they come to the other side of the sea into the country of the Dora are the Gatherings. According to Luke, this was predominantly a gentile region and it was directly opposite of where they sailed from.

The disciples thought they had traveled across the lake. And I've ever going to find some reprieve from the very busy day that they had the previous day. They were going to find some rest from their Relentless crowds, but Jesus however, knew that he had a Divine appointment to keep So the place that Jesus came with a place where they raise swine. They raised swan in this place to which these Pagan Gentiles would use for their Pagan worship. The place that Jesus came was used as a burial grounds. So, this was a place where death reigned It was a place that the full effects of Adam. Seeing the Garden of Eden was on display. Enter the place that Jesus came was not an attractive place.

Certainly not a place. Be coming of the Holy spotless, righteous, Son of God. But Christ came to this place. Notice the person Jesus came to see. The person Jesus came to see this man was not only wild and untamable. This man was also far away from God verse six houses. And when he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and worship him. Now, this is not only true of this man's physically speaking but it was all also true spiritually. Speaking concerning this man. And Luke chapter 18. Jesus uses the same wordage Jesus, tales and 18 of the two men who went to the temple, the Pharisee and the Publican the tax collector. And it says that the tax collector was a far from Jesus speaking about how he was lost spiritually. So the person to whom Jesus came was lost spiritually. Notice the purpose, Jesus came. the purpose of why Jesus came is seen and how short this visit is to this Gentile territory first, 16 tells us, and those who saw it, told them how it happened to him, who had been demon-possessed, and about the swan, Then they began to plead with him to depart from their region. And when he got into the boat, he had been, who he who had been demon-possessed begged him, that he might be with him, put houses in this passage of scripture here, that Jesus journey to this place was very short-lived, very short Journey. He had only one reason to come, and that was to save this, man. That gives us that points us to the. Jesus came. The. Jesus came Mark. 4:35 tells us. Going back to 2:35 a chapter 4 on the same day. When evening had come, he said to them, let us cross over to the other side. So Jesus and his disciples cross. The Sea of Galilee at this point was only about six miles across and they came to this location. No down very early in the morning while it was still very dark and you can just imagine how frightening that would be. That would be, especially for his disciples going to this forbidden, Place hearing the cries of this man and knowing, and probably hearing about this, man, even though that you were a Jew living across the opposite side of this, But all my dear friends in his in this we see Christ, amazing pity. But also we see Christ saving power. We see his saving power. There's no question as you read, Mark chapter 5 that Satan has his hold on this man, right? Satan has this man in bondage. He is held captive and remember how strong Satan's grip is on those who belong in his kingdom. It is very, very strong. Very strong in his grip. Is exceedingly stronger than what you could do on your own to get away from his, hold on. You. as matter of fact in describing Satan strength, Jesus liking Satan as the strong man of the house. Mark 3:27 tells us no one can enter a strong man's house and plunder his Goods, unless he first binds the strong man and then he will plunder his house, well-beloved. Listen, Satan is the strongman and sinners are his prized possession. But listen, but because he is mightier than Center. Satan stronger than centers centers cannot save themselves are free themselves from him. Sinners in need to be set free Sinners who are in the bondage of sin and Satan must be freed from Christ. The Almighty one who is mightier than the mightiest

This is a scene in Mark, chapter 5, this man could not save himself.

As I said earlier, the demon spoke for him.

The demons, give his name as Legion. Because we are many. Allegiant. Is a contingency of some 6000, Roman soldiers. That's what, what aisle at Legion was in Jesus day. So, this man was not possessed by just one demonic spirit. But by thousands of demons working. As one evil force. And we noticed that it had to be thousands of demons in this one man, because the Bible tells us that when Jesus cast the demons into the swine, all the swine, fell off the cliff and died and there were some 2,000. Are those of the of the Swan? It's amazing. Until this man who is captured by these the this demonic Army. Because of this, this man's natural mind, his will and his at his emotions had all but been destroyed. These soldiers of Satan. These demons had trampled. This man's soul.

And his only hope. Was in The Liberator whose power and authority had to be greater than the one who possessed this man. And that Liberator is none other than Jesus Christ, the son of God.

It is very obvious that the very moment that Christ stood upon the shore. Satan was going to be overcome right verse to tells us and when he had to come out to the boat immediately there met him out of the tombs, a man with an unclean spirit. Mercy. Tells us when he saw Jesus from afar. He ran and worship him. And he cried out with a loud voice and said, what have I to do with you? Jesus, Son of the most high God. I implore you by God, that you do not torment me for he said to him come out of the man unclean spirit. So here is a man who under the full control of Satan, but when he sees Jesus afar runs to him and he worships him. Now, the question is this? Why did the demons here? Come to Christ? Why do they come to him? Why did they worship him? And I mean, after all, they asked and they were afraid that Jesus was going to torment them. And it's very amazing hear that Christ. He doesn't verbally summons them to come unto himself. So why do they come Calvin said, this. We ought to be aware that they did not come of their own accord into the presence of Christ but we're drawn by a secret exercise of his authority. All blood. Listen Christ, the judge of all the Earth, had bid them to come and they came I think about this before. These demons had been used to carrying men off and controlling other men. But now a superior power, compels them to appear before the Lord Jesus Christ. Which teaches us the whole of Satan's kingdom is subject to the authority of Christ. Amen. Notice the terror of the Demons verse 7. Cried out with a loud voice and said, what have I to do with you? Jesus, Son of the most high implore you by God. That you do not torment. Me. I'll listen, they trembled. They trembled when they thought of their punishment. Satan and his demons know that there is a coming judgment for them and they tremble much like a guilty criminal trembles when he stands before righteous judge.

Verse 13.

At once, Jesus gave them permission.

Then the unclean spirits went out and enter the swine. There were about 2,000. And that herd ran violently down the Steep Place into the sea and drowned in the sea. I want to Christ cast the demons into the swine.

Why I believe it is a show, all of those who witnessed that event. And those of us today, who read this by faith in God's word, that this is, what would have happened to this man. If Christ did not come and rescue this man. I'm convinced that when the when the man was cutting himself with stones, the demons in him or driving him to commit suicide. To end his life.

What Legion could not get the man to do was easily accomplished in a large herd of pigs? The pigs could not withstand the wheel of Legion and they were driven to their death. So we see here, Mark chapter 5, really? It's kind of like a battle scene in a war movie.

There was this man whose life was ruined by seeing his body full of scars, his life. Nothing more than a life of wretchedness and wickedness. Everything in this man's life has been affected his life. His mind is sold his family, his body. Everything. And safe and be cruel Masters, trying to hold on to him and trying to damn his soul. Satan does not want to just destroy his body. He wants to destroy the soul. But then the other seen is Christ. And Christ comes across the sea. As the great judge in the great king is that he is with Mighty power and He commands the demons to go out of the man and the demons have to comply. They have to submit in Christ since this man free. So what does this tell us about Christ? What is this scene here? Tell us about the Lord. Jesus Christ. What tells us that Christ is Sovereign? He is Lord, even over Satan himself. And it tells you that Christ have ultimate Authority, even over the demons in hell. It tells you that Christ has the ability to set the Barre, work centers free. And tells you that there is hope this morning. It tells you that there is life in Christ and it tells you that there is Liberty in Christ Jesus.

That's what Mark 5 is all about.

Christ is my year. Not even the demons of hell can stop him. In Genesis 3, we have the first mention of the promised that Christ would bruise the head of the serpent. remember, Adam and Eve had sinned and God comes into the garden in the cool of the day, and as he addresses the serpent, He tells the serpent that the seed of the woman would bruise or crush the head of the serpent. Of course, the seed of the woman is a reference to Christ. Price would bruise and crush the Serpent's head. He would defeat Satan And that is exactly what took place on Mount Calvary. Christ suffered and bled and died on Calvary and in him doing so he defeated Satan. He defeated Satan who had the power of there. Hebrews 2:14 houses that by Death Christ, destroyed him that had the power of death. Hey Brother. Wait, how do you know that Christ had it is Victorious. How do you know that Christ is Victorious? Over Satan? Well, the fact is because on the third and glorious day, God raised him from the dead defeating, then the works of Satan, which is sin and death. In Christ. Now, according to Isaiah is mighty to save and he can set the captive Center fries. Hey, Brother. Wait, how can he do this?

Well, he did this because Christ perfectly kept the law of God. That's how And he paid the price. For our law breaking. We were the guilty. But Christ, paid the price of our breaking, the law. It's so salvation has been purchased by Christ on Christ.

Remember Christ said that, no one can enter a strong man's house. And plunder his Goods unless you Fern, unless he first binds the strong man and then he will plunder his house. Alyssa math. What Christ did there on Calvary on the cross? and in his resurrection, So that way Christ comes to a man bound and held captive by the devil and held captive by his sin and he sets the captive free.

thinking about this man in Mark chapter 5, No other man could do what Jesus did. They tried? But when Christ comes not even the devil can stop him. Listen, blood of Christ, is able to save you. If you are not saved. Satan is holding you as his captive. He has you, right? Where he wants you. And listen to me, just like this man. In Mark chapter 5, you cannot save yourself. And no other man can save you. Not your mom, not your dad, not your grandparents.

You cannot save yourself.

And beloved, listen, there are people all over the world who are trying to break thins habits.

They are trying to break addictions. They are trying to reform their life. They're trying to change their their life, to trying to turn over a new Leaf, so to speak. They're trying to save themselves.

But all they're doing is adding sin to spend. And all they're doing is adding more links to Ponce and chains that bind them.

You say brother way those things in and of themselves may be a good things you know trying to break addiction. Absolutely they're good. In a worldly set of Standards but listen to what Jesus said. Jesus said this without faith, it is impossible to please God. Okay. And then then Paul said whatsoever is not of faith is sin. To even the things that we think are good in our worldly accounting of that, which is good is not good. When you consider the things that we do being apart from fights,

We think about Christ, amazing pit at his pity is compassion to think about the price saving power but then notice Christ enduring, peace. Christ enduring peace. When we look at chapter five. And there are three words that just come out and just speak to us about Mark chapter 5. The first one being a tragedy, right tragedy. It's this is a chapter Mark in tragedy. Then also another word that stands out to us is the work Triumph. We we see tragedy being turned into Triumph as this man is set free from the demons, but then also, there is the word transformation.

I mean, just look at the change in this man's life. When we when we first meet him, he's living a very shocking. Shameless worthless, Wicked life. He is friendless. His hopelessly is restless. In the eyes of the world, he was just a worthless specimen. Of a man. But when Christ set him free from the bitterness, and from the bondage of seeing his wife is completely changed. Look at verse 15. First 15, then they came to Jesus and saw the one who had been demon-possessed and had the legion. What is he doing? Sitting. And clothed in his right mind and they were afraid. So now this man is sitting this man now has rest. Piano rest before. He was continually beforehand night and day walking among the tombs. Crying out loud, cutting himself. But now he has found rest.

I noticed also. He's been robbed. He's been robbed, he's closed.

He who had been naked now is closed. A list of what happened to this man. Physically is what happens to us spiritually when we come to Christ. Listen, when a soul is set free by Christ. He is closed. He is clothed in the righteousness of Jesus Christ. A person is Justified to things happen, ever won. His sins are forgiven. Number to, we are accepted by God, the Father. We are accepted by God, the Father only because of the righteousness of Jesus Christ that has been imputed to our accounts. By faith alone.

Have a garment of salvation. A robe of righteousness that is not are not our own. But it is imputed To Us by Christ. So when God, the Father looks down upon the center. He does not see the center in his filthy rags. He sees them and be perfect righteousness of Jesus Christ.

Cause of Christ. We are accepted by the father. So this man has rest. This man has been robbed. This man also received, we think about his transformation. This man is in his right mind.

He's thinking properly. Is thinking orderly. His whole life has been transformed. His whole life has been changed from a very Fierce, aggressive depraved, man. He's been made into a new creature.

For the first time in his life, he knows of the rest of God. He knows of the peace of God.

Blob. Listen to me this morning. This is real.

This is real salvation.

Just for a moment. I want you to try to forget about. this man in Mark chapter 5,

I want you to think about yourself.

Those of you who are here, that are unsaved.

Unclaimed. Guilty before God. Facing a christless hell.

Unable to save yourself, unable to redeem your soul.

Friend, you need Christ. You need Christ.

Because none, but Christ can save, help us sinners. I pray that if you are not saved, That you would flee to Christ. Fleet to him. He alone can set the center. Free Christ, praise the. Lord is still mighty to save.

And he can save you today.

Will you flee to him?

Will you do it now?

Do it right now.

Is the Holy Spirit.

Moved upon your soul.

Moves upon your being to the point that you know that you have transgressed the laws of God. And there's nothing within you. Nothing outside of you that can save your soul.

Would you right now by face?

Call out to Christ. Thank God. Be merciful to me a sinner.

Trust him today.

Spray.

Our Father.

What a tremendous portrait. you seen today of your

power. Your Authority. Your compassion.

And the transformation that only you. And bring.

Father, I pray.

You would speak to hearts?

Reveal unto them. Those are here who are lost. Their need of your son, Jesus.
