I. Put Off the Old Man

A. Lie Not to One Another

Col 3:8-9 “8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. 9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;”
B. Change Your Conversation From Being Corrupt Because of Deceitful Lust
Eph 4:22 “22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;”
C. The Old Man is to Be Crucified in Christ, So the Body of Sin Might be Destroyed
Rom 6:6 “6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.”
II. Put on the New Man
A. The New Man is Created after God in Righteousness and Holiness
Eph 4:24 “24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.”
B. The New Man is Renewed in the Knowledge after the Image of Christ
Col 3:10 “10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: 11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.”
