If You Sow The Right Seeds

If you sow the right seeds you’ll get a good harvest. Genesis 8:22 GW As long as the earth exists, planting and harvesting, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never stop.” 

Genesis:8 22 KJV †While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

To begin with today in this sermonic pericamy it gives me a plum, pleasing , privilege to preach about tithing and sowing good seeds. The context to this lesson is that after the great flood Noah built an altar to the Lord.

The bible says in Genesis 8:15 And God spake unto Noah, saying, 16 Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons’ wives with thee. 17 Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth. 18 And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him: 19 Every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, and whatsoever creepeth upon the earth, after their kinds, went forth out of the ark. 20 And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. Noah Built an Altar Noah sowed good seeds.21 And the LORD smelled †a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. Verse 21 simply means that Noah’s Covenant with God was established by God Himself. And now mankind has a divine agreement a contract that God Himself will honor. Because Noah sowed good seeds

22 †While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

And so with that in mind as we glint, gleam, and gaze at this glorious text The Good Lord fixes it so that we ought to be able to say Thank You Lord. A Covenant was made with Noah. And God makes a covenant with us and we really don’t deserve so many blessings from the Lord.Say Amen So you ought say Thank you Lord for Blessing us. Thank you Lord for waking us up this morning.

Thank you Lord for starting us on our way. Thank you Lord for being Jehovah Jireh our Provider.

Thank you Lord for being Jehovah Rapha the God that heals my body.

Thank you Lord for being Jehovah Niche you rule and reign in victory.

Thank you lord for being Jehovah Shalom the God of our Peace.

Thank you Lord for being Jehovah Tzidkenu The Lord our Righteousness.

Thank you Lord for being Jehovah Sabaoth The Lord of Hosts meaning He’s over EVERYTHING so Thank you Lord!

Thank you Lord for making a way out of no way.

Thank you Lord for opening doors that’s been been been closed in my face!!!

Thank you Lord because you said in your word that If I bring the tithes into the storehouse that you’d open up the windows of heaven and you will pour me out blessings that I won’t have room enough to receive those blessings. Specifically and particularly I used my own name because I can’t speak for your heart. You got to do what you got to do for yourself.

OMIT Brother Joe Gales told me a long time ago Rev Allen don’t never let no joker make you defeat your purpose in life.

In 2023 if you don’t want to bring your tithe, that’s between you and God. And God will respect your choices. 5x.

Because the word of Power says

in Genesis 8 :22 as long as the earth exist there will be seedtime and harvest time. 1. Seed time: In the Hebrew transliteration means Zera and Zera means to plant and to sow seeds. Listen I’m planting my spring flowers, bushes, and shrubs right now. I went and bought some Good Planting soil. And before a single seed was sowed, my grounds was prepared.

! Nobody came and bailed me out! And everything that is great church needs is in here already and it doesn’t need anybody to come and bail it out. You just have to do what is right period! You have to be RIGHTEOUS IN YOUR HEART. Otherwise things will turn out just as you have manufactured this current crisis.

Then 2. The second word is Harvest. Harvest in the Hebrew vernacular is the word Qasir. Qasir means reaping the crop at the precise time that the foliage the plant or the branch produces the highest yielding results. meaning that after you’ve prepared righteously, after you have prepared the correct way and after you have prepared the holy way according to the word of God, then you can pick your harvest and enjoy the fruit of your labor. Hallelujah!! What’s wrong with that idea?

Let’s do righteously with the finances of God’s church, so we can look back at the church and see the righteous fruit of our labor. It’s a personal choice. And God will respect you choices. 2x. And let me drop this off while I’m teaching, Look at Deuteronomy 26:8-11 the bible says 8 And the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders: 9 And he hath brought us into this place, and hath given us this land, even a land that floweth with milk and honey. 10 And now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land, which thou, O LORD, hast given me. And thou shalt set it before the LORD thy God, and worship before the LORD thy God: 11 And thou shalt rejoice in every good thing which the LORD thy God hath given unto thee, and unto thine house, thou, and the Levite, and the stranger that is among you.

This word is saying that after God has delivered you from your bondage, from your mess, from your crisis , then the word of God says bring your best before the Lord and then Rejoice, then shout hallelujah, shout glory to God And somebody say Thank You Jesus. It’s a shouting moment. Yeah 3x.

All I’m saying is If you sow the right seeds you’ll get a good harvest. Listen if you plant mustard greens you’re going to get mustard greens, but you’re not getting no snow peas!!! If you plant corn you ain’t getting no sugar cane. The choice is yours. and God will respect your choices 3x.

Alright Pastor Allen you keep saying that over and over and over again but where’s your proof? Where is you exegetical proof and where can your Apologetic Defense be found in the word of God for this statement? Turn to Galatians 6:7  Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

If you sow the right seeds you’ll get a good harvest. And God will respect your choices 3x

The question is what kind of seeds are you sowing? Are you sowing seeds of genuine Love or seeds of malignant hate. Genuine Love does what is right all the time but Malignant hate means I’ll give you a thousand little cuts until it kills you.Lord have mercy! Are you sowing seeds of grace and mercy or seeds of a gruesome menace to society. Are you sowing seeds of greatness or seeds of mediocre. Are you sowing seeds of harmony or seeds of disharmony. Are you sowing seeds of calm cool and collected or seeds or crazy chaotic and corrupted.

What kinds of seeds are being sown in this church right now? Because whatever those seeds are........ that’s the Harvest we’re going to get. And everybody has a part in it. They came to Jesus and said Jesus we caught this woman in the very act of adultery and the Mosaic Law says that we ought to stone her to death now What you gon do about that? and the bible said that Jesus looked at them, looked at the woman, stooped down on the ground and began to write in the dirt with His finger… I imagine spelling out this ones sins and that ones sins. Jesus raised up and said He who is without sin cast the first stone!!!and then all of them left off one by one.

Brothers and sisters you know what’s bad? it’s really bad when a person has dirty, devilish, deviant, and demonic ways and then try to play it off like they are so holy pious and righteous. I might miss it because I can’t see in nobody’s hearts. but Jeremiah 17:9-10 says that God knows what’s in all of our hearts and the He knows the content of our characters. Jesus said out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Harsh words an angry heart, Critical words a bitter heart, Filthy words a dirty heart, Gentle words a loving heart, Truthful words and honest heart and Encouraging words a happy heart. What’s in your heart?

And you can lie to people and get away with it, but God reveals the intentions of the heart. I know I’m right about it because there was a story in the bible in I Samuel 25 about David and Abigail and Nabal. While on the run from King Saul , David was hiding out around the Carmelites. And David watched over Nabal flocks and field. Nabal was a rich man. The bible says that Nabal was a Churlish man,meaning Nabal was a mean man.

And let me say this Chances are “If you’re mean when you ain’t got no money you’ll be meaner when you do get some money. Nabal is meaner than a junk yard dog. And around harvest time David sent a request up to the main house to Nabal to have a few of the livestock to be able to feed his men. Naboth said NO! Nabal had gotten full of that wine and said who is any David anyway. I don’t know no him. He ain’t nobody to me!

The word got back to David what Nabal had said and David said I’m going up there and kill him. And one of the servants heard about it and ran and told Nabal’s wife Abigail. The bible says that Abigail was a pretty woman. David liked pretty women. Abigail was smart. David liked intelligent women. And Abigail goes out to David in a hurry. She gets to David and falls down on her face and says my lord, I know who you are. I have respect for your personhood. She said I know that thou will be the future king of Israel. Abigail please my lord look pass my husbands evil ways. He been stupid a long time, he been mean, he been low down, and everybody around here knows his rotten character. Abigail said Please look pass his faults and accept these gifts of victuals for you and your men.

Abigail said David we appreciate the protection you provided for our field and flocks. Abigail when back home and didn’t tell her husband Nabal nothing. Somebody ask me why? Nabal was full of that oil and was known for acting a fool. So Abigail waited until morning until he had slept that liquor off. Abigail told Nabal what she had done and the bible says that Nabal got so mad until caught a stroke and 10 days later he died.

Nabal was so stingy and so rotten until he rather die that to give a little helping hand. It’s got some people who are so stingy and so tight until they’d rather die than to give you a dime. OO you’ve got to be some kind of dirty to be like that.

And All the word of God is saying to us today is If you sow good seed then you’ll reap a good harvest.

What kind of seeds are you sowing? I have faith in God I have godly Hope for a bigger better brighter day I just believe the report of the Lord. I refuse to believe the dreadful doubtful and dark future that some people want to paint for this church.

I’ll prove t it again In Exodus Moses sent out 12 spies, a leader form every tribe. Among them were Joshua and Caleb. They came back and said Moses the land does flow with milk and honey but the children of Anak are there and we saw ourselves as grasshoppers in our own sight. So Moses we can’t go into that land. Joshua and Caleb said hold up there a minute brothers Y’all tripping because God promised us victory God promised us success and God promised us a land that flows with milk and honey. Moses let’s go up at once an seize the land. Joshua said For we are well able. And church I’m saying that We are well able and any other rhetoric is a lie from the pits of hell.

David said I’ve been young and now am old never have I seen the righteous forsake of his seed begging bread. So don’t come here and telling me we can’t make it. I know it’s trick from the devil. It’s designed manufactured crisis straight out of Satan’s evil play book. But it’s not going to wash. Because if you sow good seeds then you’ll be able to say I don’t care how bad things are “but my God shall supply all my need according to His riches in glory.”

In conclusion in our theme text in Genesis it was Noah’s Obsequious nature that compelled God to find favor in him. Obsequious means to be obedient. Because Obedience is better than sacrifice. In Genesis 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. 10 And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. The world had gotten corrupted and God was going to destroy the earth by flood. In the KJV in Genesis 6:14 Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch. Then In GW bible in Genesis 6: 15 This is how you should build it: the ship is to be 450 feet long, 75 feet wide, and 45 feet high. 16 Make a roof for the ship, and leave an 18-inch-high opening at the top. Put a door in the side of the ship. Build the ship with lower, middle, and upper decks. 17 I’m about to send a flood on the earth to destroy all people under the sky—every living, breathing human. Everything on earth will die. 

(Cm’) And I imagine in my mind that Noah went out a preached It’s going to Rain you’d better make some changes. For 120 years Noah said Rain drops falling on my head and everybody laughed at Noah because it didn’t rain on Mt Ararat Um Um Oh Lord yes

but when they got finished with the Ark the bible says Noah his wife and three sons: Shem Ham and Japheth along with their wives got on the ship. And that great theological preacher Spurgeon said that even the Dumb animals know how to listen to God’s commands but people are hard to convince. And the bible says in Genesis 7: 15 that  A pair of every living, breathing animal came to Noah to go into the ship. 16 A male and a female of every animal went in as God had commanded Noah. Then the LORD closed the door behind them. Noah had One Good Sermon it’s Going to Rain. Noah preached and nobody repented nobody changed nobody got regenerated nobody was converted and nobody wanted to live a sanctified lifestyle. Because In Noah’s time the people did just what they wanted to do with no fear or consequences for their wicked ways and definitely no reverence toward God or His commands.

And what I want to tell you is that no sermon will cure your lack of will. You’ve got to be willing to follow and obey Christ and your personal Lord and Savior. I’m sure that I started out with Jesus and I’m going all the way. And I will trust in the Lord until I die yes Because if it had not been for the Lord on my side I don’t know where I’d be. Because I should have been dead sleeping in my grave but nobody but Jesus Save my Soul and made me whole. Pick me up and turned me around. Put my feet on solid ground and that’s why I’m here to say Thank you Jesus. 3x Have He been good to you Say Thank you Jesus Have He made a way out of no way say Thank You Jesus.
