This is the Generation

Generation #1

There is a generation that curseth their father, And doth not bless their mother.

curse- קלל- to make small; diminish; to be small; to be INSIGNIFICANT!

Proverbs 20:20: “Whoso curseth his father or his mother, His lamp shall be put out in obscure darkness.”

Deuteronomy 27:16: “Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.”

bless- בָּרַךְ- to invoke God, to ask for a blessing, to bless

Genesis 28:6: “When Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob, and sent him away to Padan-aram, to take him a wife from thence; and that as he blessed him he gave him a charge, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan;”

Generation #2

There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, And yet is not washed from their filthiness.

Generation #3

There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! And their eyelids are lifted up.

Generation #4

There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, And their jaw teeth as knives, To devour the poor from off the earth, And the needy from among men.

Generation #5

Psalm 24:6: “This is the generation of them that seek him, That seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.”
