I decree and declare that tonight Miracles will happen, the Holy Ghost will be pourd out. Here and around the world

Isaiah 9:

6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given:

And the government shall be upon his shoulder:

And his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God,

The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

7. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end,

We are entering a time of year this scripture will be used in a very different manner, in Christmas pays and stories around the world. Preachers using it, children quoting it in schools plays, with baby Jesus and wise men and donkeys. Telling the story of HIS birth. But missing the true meaning of what its really all about.

In life we sometimes make things more complex then they really are.

Tonight I’m going to speak on “Simply Jesus”

He not only pointed the way to Calvary,

but he led the way to Calvary.

No frills

No thrills

No fluff

Just real stuff

He said whosoever will let him come

Not exceptionalism of anyone, but an exceptional God.

Doing what he does best.

Just being Simply Jesus

To Unlock the Supernatural and Power in your life you must Recognize who Jesus is.

THAT HIS is a Rewarder of the them that diligently seek HIS Hebrews 11:6

II Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Daniel 11:32….but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.

4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

John 1:18

18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

Colossians 1;15-17

15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they bethrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

4000 years of human history had elapsed … God himself had come down from heaven in the form of human flesh through the miracle we call the incarnation … The angel had said His name shall be called Emmanuel … which means God with us!

These were momentous days … never had they heard a man speak like this man … they were seeing miracles and wonders marvelous to behold

· The lame walked … the blind could see …the deaf ears were opened

· They saw him demonstrate power over demonic forces

· He taught with authority … and through the simplicity of stories we know as parables

· He is teaching them to love one another, forgive one another help one another and rise above religious rituals and aged old traditions of men

There was Promise coming

The poor are receiving the gospel and he is spending time with the common people even sinners of the worst kind!

· He speaks of a heavenly kingdom … peace and love

· Hope is in the air … many realize He is the Messiah spoken of by the prophets

Yet even with all of this … they could not have understood the eternal significance of the times

Everything was about to change … everything was about to change … forever …

He is the head of all principality and Power, everything is subject to HIM.

We have to establish that he is in control of all of it. God does his part but we must do OUR part.

Hebrews 11:6 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

He is Simply Doing what he does best.

Just being Simply Jesus

I hope somebody understands it’s all about Jesus.

It’s all about him.

It isn’t about you,

it isn’t about me,

it isn’t about whatever we have on our

agenda…it is all about Him.

It is Jesus Christ and Him crucified,

the hope of glory.

This is not about some catchy phrase, or some great strategy.

It is SIMPLY JESUS.

John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

That Body was planned and prophesied from before the foundation of the world (Rev 13:8), “Lamb slain from the foundation of the world”

He was Born and Lived 33 ½ years he astounded the scolars of his time. They were thinking this is a smart young man. They did NOT know this was GOD in flesh.

IN him was the Light… light is invisable. You cannot see it.

So he put on flesh so he could be see.

1st Timothy 3:

16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:

God was manifest in the flesh,

justified in the Spirit,

seen of angels,

preached unto the Gentiles,

believed on in the world,

received up into glory.

Then He made a promise, I will not leave you comfortless

I will send the comforter in my name.

It was prophesied by

Joel 2:28

And it shall come to pass afterward,

ThatI will pour out my spirit upon all flesh;

And your sons and dyour daughters shall prophesy,

Your old men shall dream dreams,

Your young men shall see visions:

29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids

In those days will I pour out my spirit.

Then it happened

The story is detailed in Acts 1

Jesus said “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey. And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room,

There was about 120 all together with all the disciples there even Mary the mother of Jesus

Heaven is about to deliver the promise …

· Jesus called it the promise of the Father, … another comforter, power from on high

· He told the woman of Samaria it will be like a well Of water up to everlasting life

· He told them it would come with power

· The apostle Peter later said the promise is to you , your children and all that far off even as many as the lord our God shall call

They remained gathered together in the upper room … until the feast of Pentecost the celebration of jubilee and then … it is as though there was a drum roll in the distance far above the clouds…

· Then it happened suddenly there came a sound from heaven … as a rushing mighty wind

· It filled all the house where they were sitting

· They began to speak from the overflow of Of their hearts … cloven tongues like as of fire

Heaven is delivering the promise …

· its joy unspeakable and full of glory!

· It’s peace that passes understanding

· The love of God is delivered directly to their hearts

It’s power and boldness and strength and passion … they are overwhelmed by the presence of God filling the empty void of their souls …

· The are experiencing something humanity had never known … the power of the resurrection… the birth of the New Testament church …

· The Day of Pentecost became the memorial moment they were baptized with Holy Ghost and with fire

Churches across the land continue to celebrate this experience of Pentecost … it happens here nearly every week.

Heaven could have sent anything … Jesus said All power in heaven and earth is mine

· The streets are paved with gold, the gates are pearl, every precious stone is there

· It’s a place of eternal light

· No sickness there – no death there – no sorrow there – no suffering there – no crying there – no war – no violence – no pain – no injustice

When it came time to give humanity the sovereign remedy for human failure the heaven open and The very Spirit Of God himself come flowing down like a river into the hearts of men

You have to remember …

God had come down in flesh …

walked among men – he saw the situation first hand

· He was tempted in all ways just as we are

· He came face to face with the devil in incarnate in human flesh

· He endured betrayal, rejection, mocking, pain and every other human sorrow

· He saw the wickedness Of man up close and experienced the worst mankind could dish out

Then he sent a heavenly remedy …

· If money alone was the answer for the ills of mankind the heavens would have opened with millions of dollars - He could have sent and gold and silver raining down

· He could have made us all extremely beautiful, or extremely intelligent

· He could have took away all sickness in an instant

· He could have removed pain from earth entirely made us all the picture of health

But in His ultimate wisdom …

he surveyed humanity and said I know what you need …

and he sent the baptism of His Spirit

· The baptism of the Holy Spirit is the Power and blessing Christianity

· This experience is what makes every promise possible

· This experience is how you are transformed from darkness to light

· From doubt to hope, From fear to faith, From bound to free, From lost to found

Every Christian benefit flows into the heart of mankind through the Spirit of God

· The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost

· Righteousness Peace end Joy are in the Holy Ghost

· Power is in the Holy Ghost

· The Gifts of healing and every miraclescome through Spirit Of God

· Comfort through the Spirit

· This baptism will help your marriage, your career, your education, your emotions, and your mind, every area of life is influenced through the Power of His Spirit

The baptism of the Holy Spirit is resurrection power … it’s the power to get up, to go forward

Resurrection power is the power of recovery … from the greatest battle and deepest wounds

The resurrection is the greatest comeback story of all time!

Let’s begin to prepare our hearts now for the ministry of Gods Spirit in this place

The baptism of the Holy Ghost is Heaven delivering the well Of living water springing up to everlasting life!

The baptism of the Holy Ghost is heaven miracle remedy for every human condition

There nothing like it – there no way to access the treasure of heaven except through the Baptism of the Holy Spirit

· We are filled with the Spirit

· We walk in the Spirit

· We are led by the Spirit

· We overcome by the Spirit

· We are set free by the Spirit

Whatever your going through, whatever your battle is … This is heaven help … for everyone, everywhere … we need a fresh baptism of the Holy Spirit Of God upon our lives

Healed the Sick

Made a Mud pie and healed a blind man

Stretch your hand and the hand was made whole

The Miracle was in the Reach..

Who is Jesus?

He is the mighty one

He is the one who sustains

He is the one who rescues

He is the King of Kings

He is the Lord of Lords

He is my shield

He is my stronghold

He is my refuge

He is my strength

He is the lifter up of my head

He is the one who crowns my head with loving kindness

He is still high and lifted up and his train is extending through the temple

The spirit of God is ready to be poured out – let’s prepare our hearts in repentance

The one who put on humanity,

so that we might put on divinity

The one who became the son of man,

so that we may become the sons of God

The one who laid aside royalty to become a peasant

The one who lived in poverty,

yet owned all the cattle on a thousand hills

The one who was raised in obscurity,

yet he was the KING of KINGS is IN THIS PLACE RIGHT NOW
