Joe video intro
An arrhythmia is an uneven heartbeat. It means your heart is out of its usual rhythm.
It may feel like your heart skipped a beat, added a beat, or is "fluttering." It might feel like it’s beating too fast (which doctors call tachycardia) or too slow (called bradycardia).

Ephesians 4:25-32
Six Ways to Love better
Liar
Ephesians 4:25 (ESV)
25 Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members one of another.
Two truths and a lie..
Lie 1 lie 2 lie 3
Greek.. aorist middle participle, meaning a once-for-all action.
“A lie has no legs. It requires other lies to support it. Tell one lie and you are forced to tell others to back it up. Stretching the truth won't make it last any longer. Those that think it permissible to tell white lies soon grow colorblind.” Austin O'Malley.
Jesus. John 14:6 (ESV)
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Proverbs 12:22 (ESV)
22 Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord,
but those who act faithfully are his delight.
Revelation 21:8 (ESV)
8 But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”
Ananias and sapharia
Acts 5:3 (ESV)
3 But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land?
We are one member of another
I belong to you.. you belong to me..
Romans 12:4-5 (ESV)
4 For as in one body we have many members,[a] and the members do not all have the same function, 5 so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
Lying destroys fellowship so be honest
1 John 2:21-22 (ESV)
21 I write to you, not because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth. 22 Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son.
If you know Jesus you should speak the truth in love
Angry
Ephesians 4:26-27 (ESV)
26 Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, 27 and give no opportunity to the devil.
Incredible hulk syndrome
Be.. this is a command
deep-seated determination and settled conviction
Jesus was angry
Mark 3 angry at Pharisees legalism.. after he healed a man on the sabbath
Matthew 21 and John 2 ..angry at those who took advantage of the house of God
His angry was against anything that misrepresented his Father.. angered by hypocrisy..
This anger is directed at sin, all sin.. not just others sins but yours as well.. We should be a people of convictions.
We should never be complacent about evil. If God is light ..we are called to live in that light.
Progressive Christianity…
emphasizes orthopraxy(right actions) over orthodoxy(right beliefs)
(right actions over right beliefs)
Jesus is the only way to get to heaven..
Dr. David Seamands said the following about anger: "Anger is a divinely implanted emotion. Closely allied to our instinct for right, it is designed to be used for constructive spiritual purposes. The person who cannot feel anger at evil is a person who lacks enthusiasm for good. If you cannot hate wrong, it's very questionable whether you really love righteousness."
Psalm 4:4 (ESV)
4 Be angry, and do not sin; ponder in your own hearts on your beds, and be silent.
Be angry
Don’t sin. Three commands
Romans 12:19, Galatians 5:19-21
Sinful anger tends to serve self
Sinful anger tends to form itself in resentment
Sinful anger tends to come in outbursts
Sinful anger is vengenful and mean
Sinful anger hinders worship and fills us with bitterness.
Sinful anger consumes our lives.
Don’t let the sun go down in your anger
Alaska
Matthew 5:21-22 (ESV)
21 “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’ 22 But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother[a] will be liable to judgment; whoever insults[b] his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell[c] of fire.
Don’t give the devil a foothold
Going to be angry, gives the devil a hold of your mind
2 Corinthians 2:10-11 (ESV)
10 Anyone whom you forgive, I also forgive. Indeed, what I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, has been for your sake in the presence of Christ, 11 so that we would not be outwitted by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his designs.
Stealing
Ephesians 4:28 (ESV)
28 Let the thief no longer steal, but rather let him labor, doing honest work with his own hands, so that he may have something to share with anyone in need.
Greek work here is klepto
In 2017 a study was done and discovered that over 50 billion dollars are stolen from employers every year. Over 95% of employees steal.
50 % are supplies
30 % is time.
18% is coporate intelligence
Not stealing confuses the world
Home depot.. pay for border linear foot
Work hard
Cowbell….
Colossians 3:23 (ESV)
23 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men
Galatians 1:10
10 For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant[a] of Christ.
Pauls answer to us not stealing and being hard workers is to share it.. share it. Not accumulate stuff.. but share with those in need.
Acts 20:34-35 (ESV)
34 You yourselves know that these hands ministered to my necessities and to those who were with me.35 In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
Share with those in need

Malachi 3:8-10 (ESV)
8 Will man rob God? Yet you are robbing me. But you say, ‘How have we robbed you?’ In your tithes and contributions. 9 You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing me, the whole nation of you.10 Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.
Also your time.. don’t steal from the gifts God has given you by not needing them

Bad mouth
Ephesians 4:29 (ESV)
29 Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.
Sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me
Stink breath..
Proverbs 12:18 (ESV)
18 There is one whose rash words are like sword thrusts, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.
Let me remind you this morning that if someone talkd bad about others to you..odds are they are talking bad about you to others.
Matthew 12:33-34 (ESV)
33 “Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree bad and its fruit bad, for the tree is known by its fruit. 34 You brood of vipers! How can you speak good, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
How to fix that bad breath..
Isaiah 50:4
4 The Lord God has given me
the tongue of those who are taught,
that I may know how to sustain with a word
him who is weary.
Morning by morning he awakens;
he awakens my ear
to hear as those who are taught.
Grieving the Holy Spirit
Ephesians 4:30 (ESV)
30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
Kids..
Our sin causes the holy Spirit pain.
Can you be happy if this holy Spirit is grieving
Can you be holy if the holy spirit is grieving
Isaiah 63:10 (ESV)
10 But they rebelled
and grieved his Holy Spirit;
therefore he turned to be their enemy,
and himself fought against them.
We need the discipline to be pointed back to his Holiness.
Hebrews 12:5b-7a (ESV)
“My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor be weary when reproved by him.
6 For the Lord disciplines the one he loves,
and chastises every son whom he receives.”
7 It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons.
Bitterness
Ephesians 4:31-32
31 Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. 32 Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
Sour patch kids
Persistent sourness

Bitter people are full of wrath, rage, sinful anger, always want to fight, cursing God and others, destroying reputations everywhere they go …this destroys more churches…
Malice Kakia…..they have a bad heart out of rythem with Jesus
Luke 17:3-4 (ESV)
3 Pay attention to yourselves! If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him, 4 and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.”
Honest
Controlled
